It takes a talented song writer to touch this old grizzled heart with a song written from a female perspective, but then, there aren't many as talented as Erin Enderlin. She evokes so many emotions with the stories she tells. I'll shout it from the rooftops: Erin Enderlin is the best songwriter in country music today.

There's no doubt about that this lady is truly under rated her songs burns like whisky straight. Her voice is and emotions in tbe songs are just phenomenal
My favorite Erin song, I love them all but this baby is a classic. Erin gave me her first album many years ago. I was Merle Haggard’s bus driver at the time. I was driving Merle across the Mojave desert heading east on I-40 , the sun was going down behind us. I asked him if I could play a CD of a lady I’d just met in California , he said sure, the whole album made him crazy.. he absolutely loved it!!

My favorite ballad. I don't ever listen to it once, always at least 3 times. Steel playing and sound is a refencence for any studio in the world. Lyrics and singing are both amazing. Chapeau, Erin Enderlin, as the french would say.

I like the song, but, damn, couldn't you have found a cowboy to play the part? With the French jeans, bro country facial hair, and hanging on to the saddle horn sure as hell is NOT a cowboy. Love you, Erin, could find you a real cowboy for your next video.
