You can still hear it today. I received in Portugal on September 6, 2021 at 22:30 aproximately. I think it is between 5.0 and 6.8 MHz.

Thank you for posting this - I've just picked this up on my 1970s East German radio and couldn't think of the station signal. Your video helped me remember :)

@ALEX GAMING FR Yes CRI leased airtime on Radio Luxembourg 1440 kHz MW for a while with the English programme then later on abandoned English for German only after the power was reduced to 300kW from 600kW and the UK night antenna was demolished.

You may want to skip to 1:00. From 1:05 to 1:28 you will definitely notice the similarity between the CRI's altered version and the original "Jasmine Flower". CRI did a good job altering a segment of the original melody by implementing a different harmony with more instruments apart from the guzheng (popular music usually calls this technique "remixing").

Ten sygnał jest do dziś. :) Fale krótkie i średnie a szczególnie Polskie programy przypominają mi czas, gdy miałem 4, 5, 6 lat.

Listening occasionally to the CRI english programming on shortwave. such as "Chinaplus Radio News" , "EZFM" , "The Bejing hour" , "LanguageCafe" , "Takeaway chinese" , "RoundTable" , and more. traditional stories. A special host for me at CRI is Mrs. Man-Ling, when it comes to chinese traditional content. A former program hosted by her was "heartbeat", in which traditional customs throughout the chinese culture were presented.
