At long last I've managed to catch you up and even get a little in front of you in the quests. Can't wait to follow you to the Mesa.
I’m enjoying the slow movement but don’t think completing all tasks wasn’t one of your original boundaries. I’m good with skipping as you will get upgrades with quest in gorukar as well. But also completely fine with staying, have really enjoyed this series.
I may have confused Hero's Journey and leveling with only TSS expansion if so moving on is fine. This series got me to play EQ again so thanks for that. I have played on several of the TLP servers but never really past POP. This series was a reason to give Hero's Journey a try myself and I have mostly enjoyed it though some of the tasks clearly show their age especially when you have to loot x of some rare drop. Keep on keeping on love the content. It's hard to find good and recent Everquest videos.
I think you should stay and work on the achievements for the Hero Journey. On the FV server with the exp bonus you are going to out level the content until 51 when you can set it to be mostly AAXP or level lock yourself while you do the quests. I started out doing the Hero Journey when I first saw your videos of it and have since passed your progress. So far I have stuck with it and hope I can continue. The mesa is even worse for quests than Blightfire.
If you start skipping the content into areas that give more or better exp you will likely never want to come back for the achievement as then everything will be no exp at all.
