wow, so funny you shold talk about research. I just raised my research next to you in FV the other day ;). My reason for raising it was mainly cause I am working on the Rallos Zek earring. But it is nice for making augments as you mention. The best augments (type 18/19), you need Jewelry to make though. That is probably the most importnat TS everyone needs to learn, as those augments are no trade even on FV.

Love your content, really do not vibe & feel gross (as a designer) seeing the snips of AI generated images in the intro. Strange fingers and moral issues of a computer pretending to *art. That being said your info has really got me excited to log onto my 20+ year old EQ account to go fall over and try again.

Hey Fez, I have a question of some import. When you trade the unexpanded bag to an alt, do they need to have tailoring skill to make the combine to expand it? I noticed your necro had a skill of 94. Is that combine no-fail? If not, this might be an important thing to know?

great stuff on bags and where to use them! my Druid on F.V. is Geaweyene, she is lvl 22 right now and i'm looking to go for that tailoring trophy! thanks for any help! only bags i have are the ones you buy in cresant reach! (8 slot) my bank and character are stuffed full of them! wish i could afford those bigger bags in the marketplace.

Thanks for all the info on your videos. Ive started playing everquest again and have not logged in since 2002 I think. Alot has changed. I wouldnt mind the bags you mentioned if thats alright. Character name is Aldryc on FV, started there because of the RP tag on rhe list and people do seem friendly but its tough starting over.

Can’t believe I’m watching a video that’s nearly an hour long about EverQuest bags in 2025 but here we are! 😂 My character on FV is Antewer if you still have gift bags. That should help a lot!

Watch some vids in the past but have not gotten back into EQ as much as I would like. Your videos are spot on and thought, why not get back into playing and do it on FV. Either way, I am Bnine, keep up the good work.

Hello Fezzelwhig! I love your videos they are super helpful and I’m always looking forward to another new one and what I can learn from them. My character’s name is Aeniel a lvl 26 Paladin. I was introduced to EverQuest by my high school son back in 2000. It was great fun and he got the whole family involved… we had 3 accounts and had great fun!!! Needless to say I’m now retired and living alone and have started playing again after20 years. The game has changed so much since then. You make it so much easier. Thank you so much for your generosity in giving the bags but also for sharing your knowledge.

I can see your reasoning with placing a trade skill bag in the top left slot of a low level character. However, when they level somewhat then stat food becomes important also but they do not fit in trade skill only bags. Therefore I advocate another type of bag in to start with so stat food can fit in the top two slots and you do not have to worry about remembering to do it later. It's also easy to make a hotkey to press once in a while to eat other than your stat food. Otherwise an enjoyable video, pity I'm not on the FV server.

Very nice video, it really helped me out. I just recently returned to EQ after playing WoW for 10 years, i was still running around with the old evil eye bags and some odds and ends, i definitely needed a way to get more storage. Looking forward to more videos

Potions available in cresent reach. Regen and spirit give ya a lil healing , lil bit of haste and clarity helps also.

I have an off topic question about boxing. Can you create a second account using the same e-mail address as your first account, or do you have a different e-mail account for each game account? I seem to remember from back in the day you had to have different e-mail accounts. I'm old so my memory might just be failing me. :)

Do you mean the combat ability “throw stone”? And I’m one of the ones who just watch non-live stuff, though I do go through the groups to get suggestions for where to take my box group for leveling when I get stuck and/or looking for a different place to level.

In an ideal world, we wouldn't need to box because there would be plenty of players around to group up with. Nowadays many people are very limited with how much time they have to play so I understand the "want" to box multiple characters. For some, it's the only way to get any meaningful progression done, whether it's gaining experience or finishing a quest. I think the problem stems with those individuals who are extreme and do 12-18+ boxed characters and farm all the good loot or take all the good experience camps. It's such a complicated subject. In the old days, it was common to see people boxing a 2nd character and that was it. I think that's healthy and doesn't really disrupt the game. But the super nerds who box 6 or more characters... they gotta go.

You've probably been recommended it a lot but you should try The Hero's Journey eqemu server! It's amazing fun and hugely popular

thanks - love to listen to your channel. many interesting ideas and concepts i am trying to integrate into my playing. right now centered on getting my 30 sum characters into 2 boxes groupings and getting pairings to lvls 40 or 50. I think then i'll need to go to 3 boxing and am slowly learning from you about it. thanks much and keep the fun and interest going! love seeing and hearing about your groupings. my favorite characters to play are druids and beastlords. but necros and magic users are fun too. also had fun running a dark elf SK a while back. maybe i'll run another one soon. jeff rayborn

hey Fezzelwhig, drpepperdrgn here wanting to know the make-up of this group. I thought you said a rogue, a ranger and a bard? what lvls are each, and what merc's are each running? i'm also wondering how all of your 'groups' seem to collect everything and yet never run out of space! how do you coordinate / filter/divide the looting between characters? what bags do you use? how many of each? ( i always have my bags setup in a sequence and I open all bags at once when i search for things. (uses alot of screen space when i open them) most of my characters use the bottom right of the screen for bags, but my lvl 30 + characters have larger capacity bags and the screenspace is becoming ?? well my 45 beastlord has nearly half the screen covered with its numerous large capacity bags, but he still cant run a quest like you do. i tend to run out of space or get overloaded with weight making me port to home to unload and rerun the areas until i figure out what stuff i can collect and what stuff i can leave and what items i need to destroy. any help in storage and filtering loot would be of interest to me . thanks Fezzelwig!! have a great day ! jeff rayborn wausau wisconsin ( drpepperdrgn)

Bards can also track but they get that ability at a higher lvl than druids.
