One of my favourite scenes out of a packed bunch of great scenes. Felix realised after Kiki that he was still getting fucked around by the government just like when he was poor, so what does he do? Cry? Bitch and moan? No…he makes himself so powerful that they literally CAN’T fuck him around anymore. Great scene
I'm always distracted by his perfect hair and beautiful suits it sounds trivial but I haven't seen a real life narco with good hair or clothes, the real Felix, chapo, Pablo etc etc have bad hair and tasteless clothes yet the narcos Felix looks like a photoshoot for GQ magazine. Apart from that minor gripe brilliant series perfectly acted and written and directed
Actually the real Felix wore the best Italian and Italian-Mexican tailored suits money could buy. IE Italian tailor's in Mexico City used the best English and Italian cloth and were the local elite frequented. He also frequented Italian tailor's in Italy and other countries on travels. Plus off the rack. Amado wore Armani for every day and Brioni etc for formal business. They dressed as good as old fashioned Italians.
The first two seasons of Narcos: Mexico was the best season of all Narcos seasons. So much Godfather vibes. Loved it.

Especially the threat of withdrawing so much billions of dollars to cause the Mexican economy to collapse.
Very similar to what's going on here in the US.

I noticed that too. The series is a heavily glamourized version of these people. In real life, they were and are a bunch of disgusting hoodlums.
