I love how this series shows us the complicated relationships the original Narcos of Mexico had with each other from friends to bitter rivals. I also love how Acosta was against having Amado work with him but eventually warmed up to him and became his mentor making Amado the true successor to Miguel Angel after the Guadalajara cartel disbanded
Pablo was a true mentor to Amado in the end. That scene where he gives him his watch back you can see how Amado regardless of how he stabs the cali cartel in the back in narcos Columbia he would have been able to get acosta out of this if he allowed him. But since he already knew that Amado did more than enough for him he chose to give his watch back as a way to say I thought you all I knew now you need to know when and where your time will come.
Pablo Acosta has some of the greatest scenes in this series. This conversation with Amado and the conversation with Walt on Pablo’s roof were my absolute favorite.
Pablo saw the writings on the wall a long time ago working with Gallardo is a death wish. The very last thing he told Amado was the most important thing he ever taught him in this line of business…TIMING, patience. Telling Amado to be ready to strike an Gallardo is important, strike too early Gallardo can bounce back and obliterate you with the help of the other plazas, Wait too long and he will be so powerful he’s untouchable… Amado made his move
One of the best scenes in narcos mexico. pablo Acosta decides to go his way and says goodbye to amado.😟 below these are subtitles. I hope you'll enjoy. Acosta-where the hell have you been?? Amado-Belize chiapas, the thing with the planes, remember i told you ?? Amado- shits pretty cool man, in chiapas, some country shit, just how you like it we should go Acosta- so go then Amado-i mean both of us,lets go Acosta-you think im getting on one of your little planes?? You're out of your fucking mind, think i dont know why you're here?? Felix tried to kill palma!! thats what has you so spooked? You think im next?. Amado- I can fix this shit pablo.i will talk to felix,he needs me right now. Acosta-f**k felix Amado-For once in your f****ing life will you listen to me? Acosta- No,i already know what I'm gonna do Amado- Finally got yourself killed, thats what you've always wanted?go out with your pride like a real f****in bandit? But it doesn't have to go that way,you could keep your pride and your life,if you'de just listen to me. Acosta- Close the door when you leave, dont want a draft coming in. Amado-pablo Acosta- shh !! Acosta- Hey dopey (removes ⌚gifted by amado),fake as shit but I've always liked it..(returns it to amado) Amado-( catches⌚) Even tell the date and everything Acosta- at some point, you'll need to stab that motherfucker (felix) in the back,i hope you'll know when the time has come. The Door. Amado closes the door.

Its crazy that pablo was exact opposite of amado, but in the end the he's the only one amado cared about.
@@Akshay-xy7lj of course he even admitted it to mimi in the other scene when she knew that Amado saw him as a mentor and not an associate.
In real life it was Amado who ordered Pablo Acosta to be killed.
What are you? A Disney kid? No names guey

@@iloveads123 Talk about irony right? In the show you can tell he is a man of honor.

Best episode of any narco season
the outro is so distinguishable, hearing the slow guitar at the end was almost identical to The Last Of Us OST and ofc, it's the same composer
Fav scene from the series
That's why I've uploaded it 👍
Great characters and performances.
Felt bad for the actor who played Amado; he could have carried season 3 if the writing was better.
