Game designer Dave Brown introduces General d'Armee 2. In this first short video Dave talks about what forces you'll need to play and gives an overview of how the rules are structured.
Thx for this sneak peak and the upcoming presentations. For me, GdA is one of the most interesting Napoleonic games and fun to play. The bundle offer is a temptation for my birthday on the fourth of march. 😋
Thanks David and Rich. Of course it will be fascinating to learn about the new rules and wrinkles as we await shipment of our pre-orders. Thanks for these vids!
1813? I seem to remember some recent set of campaign videos about that same topic….. congrats on version 2 - these are the best Napoleonic rules I know of.
Thanks for these informational videos. I'm trying to build an army to play GDA2, I really like the rules. What are suggested unit frontages for a 15mm scale army?
@@toofatlardies I suspect Dave has a portrait of himself hidden under a shroud in his attic. It’s the only logical reason why he looks sooooo much better than Rich.

Will I able able to use these rules for modern era games?
🤣🤣
Are you thinking 40k
More post-medieval I reckon.

Yes, little wars tv just finished their 1813 Germany campaign. Twas the good times
Great video, looking forward to future ones.
Awesome! Among other things, I'm glad to see the simplification of the casualty tracking. Really looking forward to this!
What a pleasant surprise. Looking forward to the rest of the series.
Ah, eventually I am putting a face on David Brown. I find your game designs incredibly well researched and interesting.
Having seen the vignettes close up I can vouch for how fabulous they look. Almost as good as Dave, in fact.
Great news! Rules are already ordered and looking forward to more videos. Keep up the great work.
Cheers!

A bite-sized snippet of information about the updated rules. Looking forward to receiving my copy.
Basing does matter! We had a situation where infantry based in twos meant they could get 1 more battalion more than units based in 3s
Very excited to get these
Already preordered, can't wait.
Great video lads. Thanks.
Here we go again!
I was about to ask, why this was coming back, not that I'd complain
But then I noticed the 2
Hussar and Horrah! Getting my pre order in!
Cheers

For those WW1 style trench systems recently seen at Waterloo Alex!
Huzzah! Toot toot! Parp parp! Alert the media! I shall release the doves,… 🕊️

DB looks younger than Rich!😂😂😂
That’s crazy talk! Mind you, I’ve had a hard life…

Well Dave HAS to look better - he’s the housewives’ favorite!!!😁😝
Sad to say I still don’t have enough naps to play this
There's no figure scale - you could, should you wish, have just 1 figure per base!!
*cough* 6mm *cough*
P r o m o s m 🙌
Good morning chaps. Will you have copies at Partizan in May?
We certainly will.
