Some tips for upcoming Wormwood video: 1. Lureplants will attack summoned minions with the exception of the Bulbous Lightbugs 2. Spiders will not target Carrats and Carrats will not trigger Anenemy traps, making food farms with them easier 3. All summons will be targeted by Mactusk and gang so using them to bait out the hounds is a viable strategy 4. Dragon Fruits can be gotten via ripe Saladmanders which lets you get an easy early source of Saladmander summons 5. Using about 60 lunar mushrooms and a hambat will let you kill bee queen essentially without taking any damage (provided you have light and speed buffs). It’s possible to kill her solo before winter depending on rng and efficiency for early jellybeans. 6. The blue mushroom biome will always connect to the lunar mushroom biome as well as the muddy biome (with the nightmare werepig) 7. Rotten crops will eventually go back to being normal crops if left alone so it can be used as a long-term food storage though unreliable 8. In the right season with family bonus and tending, wormwood can get 1 crop plus two crop seeds per harvest of wild crops (the tier right below giant crops) 9. All killed summons will drop a fully fresh version of the plant used to summon them (unless they die while burning). They can be unsummoned like Abigail by hitting them 10. The Saladmander summons will be too slow for intense combat but have good enough healing and health to do stuff like attack a beehive/spider nest and take agro while you kill the enemies individually. It also makes stuff like hunting grass gators (which drop 7 leafy meat for lureplant crafts) on boats much less dangerous since you don’t need to kite. Their best use case is to treat them like mini-tanks 11. If you want a very early game bloom, a singular rotten fish morsel (from dead Merm or fishing) can initiate bloom even before you get the compost wrap. This is good for early game exploring when food is plenty 12. Though ipacaca is good for some quick boosts in poop, the best method is still lightbulbs (which can be made into rot or poop) and werepigs since you’ll be down there anyway for lunar mushrooms 13. Snagging the straw roll from the oasis is a good way to mitigate and lost damage due to early blunder (ie: tentacle spike, etc) 14. The berry bush craft is the only way to renew the alternative berry bush variant and also serves to give you a bush hat if you only have juicy berries Edit: 15. In addition to being useful for getting extra seeds early on, the Carrat can also reliably steal eggs from pengulls without them trying to retrieve the eggs (it will also go for rot and Glommer goop and anything you can right click to “eat” but I heard it doesn’t go for birchnuts, light bulbs, powder cake, and Tallbird eggs that haven’t been picked from the nest yet) Edit 2: 16. Not exactly wormwood specific, but a few lureplants will trivialize the mooncaller event. Every time the monsters go to agro onto the staff the Eyeplants take agro away and stall time. Good to know since he can easily craft a few lureplants (leafy meat can be easily farmed early on from grass geckos with tall birds killing them or grass gators) and then moved them back to base later. Hope some of that was useful! Good luck!
I know Wormwood video is likely next, but I have an idea I'd like to throw out. My wife STRUGGLES with kiting and combat in general. Maybe do a guide going over the strategies for the most common enemies you encounter in your runs? You occasionally give a brief kiting tip as an aside, but I think a comprehensive video on this would be super helpful for newer players. Doesn't have to be every enemy in the game, but there are a ton I've never watched you deal with even though I'm sure you fight them (like sharks and Vargs). Thank you so much for the amazing content, Jakey. You rock!
I feel like the thermal dumbbell not affecting you when equipped has to be an oversight with the code. There’s no reason it shouldn’t keep the same effect when in your inventory vs when equipped.
The couching Whistle is REALLY good for Wendy, as the Whistle affects tamed beefalos. The only Catch is that using the beefalo bell does not count beefalo as a follower, but a beefalo horn does. So, a Wendy with volt goat jelly spiced in the rain, with Abigal's vex, Wolfgang's whistle, Ornery Beefalo trait, plus a war saddle does 609 damage, the most amount of damage 1 melee strike can do. beefalo horns last 20 seconds so if you use the Whistle glitch, you get 200 seconds for unlimited power until the horn breaks. Got this fact from this @DvGMedia, she made a video about it.
I feel like the thermbell should have also been allowed to warm you up while held. That way, you could hold your mightyness for excursions away from base if you have a gym, if you don’t want to worry about bringing your main dumbbell. It could have saved you from having to carry both a thermal stone, and a dumbbell at the same time, if they let it warm you while held.

Have you considered keeping the original files for the all-character tutorial and re-uploading the updated version when new characters come out/get updated?
It's actually not a mod! You just gotta lift a dumbbell while mighty and equip Wilson (Equippable Wilson mod) at the perfect time then you lift Wilson :)
Because of your Wilson dumbbell, I want Wolfgang to pickup players and toss them over the lake. The Thermal dumbbell is stupid that it doesn't work in hand :(
I think the thermal dumbbell only looses durability when lifting so unlike the thermal stone as long as you don’t lift it the you can use it as much as you want
The keyboard I have has very rarely let me down, sometimes I'd press a key and nothing would happen until I released and pressed again but it happens very rarely, hasn't happened in a few months

One thing the fireball could be used for is ash farming, if you have a surplus of spider glands. Maybe also drop a thermal stole, and throw the fireball at it during winter for a quick reheat? (Could also maybe work with the Icebell, but I haven’t tested it). Sure you could use a star caller staff, but carrying the firebell could save you an extra inventory slot, since you’re gonna be carrying it to hold mightyness anyways. Edit: I just realized the firebell could also be used as a means to clear the miasma from the dread stone outcrops without needing to craft a torch, so I guess there's that too.

like, look at the boie spin XDDDDD
22/25 skills for Wolfgang is "bigger number".
Perfectly describes wolfgang and the only reason people play him.
Now i need to watch ALL GUIDES
man put 2 adds in 1 video unbelievebly epic
I was literally just thinking if you had uploaded the Wormwood version of the Skill Trees yet, hopefully it's next!
You probably don't remember but that one kid on discord that had his shrine broken, I'm his friend that he sometimes talks about :D
Damn this took a lot of effort and it's apparent
Thanks! 😊
There is no way i just got tricked into watching an Ad and not realise until its too late, damn you jake
14:47 noway dis iz Wilsus b gaming !!!!11!1!11!!!
Cool video tho
wolfgang is getting better and better
Ya know DPS kinda goes over my head as it is but when it starts getting into the planar and shadow stuff it's exponentially more confusing!
I am confused and I am entertained. Very nice video.
The ice dumbbell can be used to freeze the grumble bees from bee queen
Bruh jakey accdently akivated German mode at 28:50.
Just wanted to say I miss you appearing in your runs like inthe wormwood or the warly runs. Thansk for the lovely content and streams c ya byeer
Thanks for the feedback! 😊
Chore workout makes stone fruit harvesting much easier, 40 stack gone in an instant
Have you considered keeping the original files for the all-character tutorial and re-uploading the updated version when new characters come out/get updated?
What do you mean
I like how in the ad he said it single player or multiplayer for up to 11 people so that implies that only 11 people I. The world can play at a time
Your video quality is insane god I have so much respect for this man
Thanku
Why do any of the dumb bells float…😂😂
Or if you can't kill bosses, you could grow giant crops. Just remember that you'd have to wax them to get the full benefit of them
he really used genshin aranara music for some of that ad, didn't he. gave me war flashbacks, that music
It is so wholesome sounding
Jake the dinosaur, would u please do a Winona run? 🥺 ive never seen ANY in the YT, AND coming from someone like u would be the best fr
If there's no Rune med helm on the desk mat I'll be sad.
there is a osrs reference :)
I want the Wilson dumbbell mod lol
It's actually not a mod! You just gotta lift a dumbbell while mighty and equip Wilson (Equippable Wilson mod) at the perfect time then you lift Wilson :)
Thx
Jake released one new video?!
coool
5:05 was the hand sound effect from jojo's bizarre adventure.
Being shadow afinity growing even further because of the new lunar bosses
1:52 where is the BALLS reference?
Such a good video!
Thank you my sweet child channel member
Because of your Wilson dumbbell, I want Wolfgang to pickup players and toss them over the lake. The Thermal dumbbell is stupid that it doesn't work in hand :(
I think the thermal dumbbell only looses durability when lifting so unlike the thermal stone as long as you don’t lift it the you can use it as much as you want
YO Jakey awesome video as always,
Off topic: That orion specter keyboard, ever had any problems with it like keys pressing multiple times?
The keyboard I have has very rarely let me down, sometimes I'd press a key and nothing would happen until I released and pressed again but it happens very rarely, hasn't happened in a few months
24:11 i legit thought there was a mosquito inside my headphones. why must you do this, jakey?
If you do any more boss runs, will you consider the host of horrors bosses when they release?
Jakey I love your Kitten its so cute
Very nice video! Excited to the wormwood skill tree explained so I can better learn that confusing character
You forgot to mention that using critters counts as a follower to help against being alone.
10:36 - EDIT: In the video I said follower as a general encapsulation for anything that follows you, but I could have specified that critters also count, as it may not be intuitive. I'll add it do the pinned comment, thanks for your comment! :)
@@Jakeyosaurus Thank you! As a noob critters don't mean followers to me 😅
Wilson:
Oh this is fine
if only i focused as much as i focused now in school
Can’t wait for the wormwood one xp
Great fan of Excel gaming here 😊
We now need a wurt Wolfgang duo speedrun
Love the mouse mat, wish I wasn’t broke
Can you make a video about farming (i mean garden) and teach all the tricks (also wormwood things)
I couldn’t find a video about gardening on youtube that explains as basic
Yeah farming guide is on the list 😁
@@Jakeyosaurus thanks 🧡
Jakey because Dont starve together made a collab with cult of the lamb download the lamb character mod and get your twitch chat and beat the game
Ooooh im from the future happy winters feast
Finally, wormwood is next 😎
I like your videos, very informative.
Wow, people say that skill trees suck, but just look at this how is this not awesome?

Anybody else not able to get into wolfgang because of the permanent added micro of the mighty meter? I know its easily manageable, but theres already so much micro you have to do in this game....
