  • Trevor Story connects on his second of what would be a three-homer game, this one traveling 505 feet onto the Coors Field concourse

      I was there, 150 feet down the 3b/lf line, I never even see batting practice balls hit that far, it was a pretty chilly night, too, so that held it back a little bit as well. Imagine if that had been a 95* day in June or July, maybe an extra 10-20 feet.

      It was about 470 ft. The ball landed 404 ft from the plate 60 ft above the field.

      Yeah his didn't travel as high his was more of a laser that smashed 14 rows into the upper deck. Story's homerun was so high and towering and cleared the whole stands

      Kenny Flame The Backpack Guy, it was only hit that far because of Coors Field. Would’ve definitely been around 470 which is still far

    I just wanna ask, if that was only 112 mph off the bat how did it go that far because judge in the derby last year hit one 504 with an exit velo of around 120 and the launch angle was about 40° which is the farthest it will go so either story has a corked bat or the wind was blowing out like crazy or the altitude was in effect

      There was a storm moving out at the same time probably affecting the airflow and updraft.

      This homerun is over estimate, more like 475 ft. The ball landed approximately 440 - 450 ft from home 26 ft above the field.

    Nothing counts at Coors. Home run distance, home run totals, doubles and triples, all of it is completely useless at that park. The biggest tell is that opposing batters do better at that launching pad than home batters. Yankee Stadium is second only to Coors when it comes to massively inflated and worthless numbers. That was a 475ft shot anywhere else, which is still a monster.
