  • Historic Performance of song and dance Ei Ja Nai Ka, by creators Yoko Fujimoto and PJ Hirabayashi. They were asked to join their friends at the Cortez Centennial Satogaeri(homecoming) Obon. The Ei Ja Nai Ka title translates to "Isn't it Good." The lyrics and story is our roots run deep a tribute to our ancestors. This parallels the story of the Cortez Colony and emphasized for their Centennial Obon.
    Verse 1: our ancestors dreams migrating to America
    Verse 2: tolling the fields farm working
    Verse 3: laying railroad tracks linking west-east to the future
    Verse 4: playing taiko We continue on
