I ate quite often at a couple of places around the port area. One of my favourite places a couple of years ago was the Namaste Indian Restaurant. They used to do a special lunch/afternoon menu for €15. The good thing was all the portions were full sized rather than shrunk down due to it being a special menu. So it was definitely worth it. Muddy's is very popular as far as I can remember. It was always advisable when I was there to book ahead as they rarely had any space in the evenings for walk-ins.
We stayed at the Delfin Azul Hotel, half board and ate at Muddy’s for lunch. Location perfect and an upstairs venue so respite from the heat but with a beach view. Absolutely lovely food and value for money lunch time menu at Muddys!
Kevin at 5.43 the balcony with the plants on it and the one next is our old apartment although it was ground floor the views were great as it was so elevated.I think even the yellow striped sun blinds are still the same
Prices are okay if you’re out for dinner. We travel to Puerto Pollensa in 2 weeks after 4 years away (been Oledeniz and Hisaronu Turkey) and prices haven’t risen to bad. Drinks cheaper then where we’ve been inTurkey! Outrageous prices last year for alcoholic drinks .
My favourite restaurant in the port area used to be La Recoletta. They did a beautiful Mallorcan lamb dish and the wine was good too. The worst place in my opinion is the place on the corner of the beach, El Yate. It may have changed recently but the staff used to be so rude and couldn’t really give a damn, plus the food and drink was a rip off. Avoid, unless you just want a cooling drink in the heat of the day.
The family holiday is in Peurto Alcudia this year as it looks stunning, 😍 particularly the beach. That said, seeing some of the prices I can see it’ll be quite an expensive holiday!! 😮 I think the Canary Islands will be our next destination after this as the prices there look way more reasonable and it can be equally stunning, depending on where you go. I always feel you enjoy your holidays much, much more if you feel you got good value for your hard earned money. Maybe that’s the frugal Dad part of me talking 😅
Majorca is so much more expensive for eating out than the Canaries. Was in Alcudia last August and a good ribeye steak meal was about 24€ (costa teguise for the same 17€). Alcudia old town is amazing and has the best tapas restaurants and the lunch time deals are great value for money. Didnt think much of the Belview strip. most of the food was overpriced and not great.
I took my family there last year. Both kids asked to go back.. best Mediterranean beach for families and I've been to Santorini Mykonos few beaches along Costa Brava. Italian and Croatia. Beaches. Better than anything in USA and Mexico. Shall I go on. It's closer and cheaper than Hawaii. That's why we are going back with young kids
I am here in can picafort and I am finding prices of everything is way more expensive than Gran Canaria where I usually go when your talking 11 plus euros for a cocktail it’s taking the piss where as gc are around the 8-9 euro and on top of that was stung with a €60 tax that wasn’t warned about by TUI before we even got to the hotel room not thinking i’ll be back in a hurry food is shite in hotel so think will be living of burger king the rest of the week weather isn’t all that either hope rest of holiday gets better
Mr Jock - €17 for garlic prawns 🙈 They having a laugh , Nee way am I going there man , Paid €8.50 in Puerto Rico , The locals don’t have to protest about tourists because your doing the job for them , you’ll probably get knighted.

Thing is if these are sp close. I would say they would be reasonable? But the most quiter places would be more expensive?

5.15, paella is priced per person, so a minimum of 40 Euros?

*How* *Much* You can hear the famous Yorkshire Mating call all Summer 🌞 with some of those prices 😳
Top
Hotels are the rip off places mate. 200 euros a night is way too much.
Stayed in 5 hotels from 39 quid to 65 on this trip still deals still about
They guys are still looking for a seat after looking at the menu
Lol
Pasta as a main meal is so over priced! A lot is pure rubbish too.
How inconsiderate of them jogging the menu board 🤣
