Lowkey feel bad for Jogo cuz he's one of the strongest characters at this point in the story but he ends up fighting against monsters like Gojo and Sukuna that make him look weak 😭
dang yeah jogo was good good he took it like a man
but despite that, jogo still had the balls to fight them both which is why he also got my respect
That's why gege made him smoke grade 1 sorcerers like it's nothing. Basically reminded people that he's one of the strongest special grade curses in the series.
Meanwhile toji always fight fodders and he seems so cool and strong 😢

this episode was made mostly by freelancers and they got much more time for it
@@sYraX1337Well all of the episode had freelancer, With the current production schedule it's impossible to complete episode with In-house Animators. And This episode's production was started earlier than other ones. Itsuki Tsuchigami got full creative freedom. God bless Gosso.

@@RussG935 Mappa did everything this episode, The management, They bought in Miso to work for them. They managed all the 15 Key animators who worked under the supervision of Gosso. Who gave them full creative freedom it's all thanks to Mappa's JJK production committee.
Fun Fact: this episode was directed by "Miso" who also worked on Mob Psycho S2 Ep 11, that's why it's symplistic but pure raw action animation

Those hares really tried to square up with Toji 😂😂😂. Sukuna playing freeze tag with everyone was the most HIM energy I’ve seen in a while, sheesh!🔥🔥🔥🔥
These animators are unbelievable. They do so well at depicting fear and nail the hype aspects as well as the emotional ones (Megumi and Toji) so well. RIP again a legend.
What's crazy is they did 5 chapters this ep, and added like 10 min of footage or 5, that weren't in the manga for filler and its hard to do that since it can come off like a time waster or padding even if the fights are good...see some dragonball z filler fighting padding and even if its fun you realize nothing matters till the manga canon parts. Everything flowed well. Also makes me realize they wont have an issue finishing culling games in one season if they stuck to manga they can do 7 chapters an ep no problem. Old school anime we would get 2 chapters ending with the entire ep being lots of start and stop fight between megumi. Some would like that since some think good art = better even if it makes for stiff animation sometimes.

Glad Sukuna gave Jogo the respect he deserved he was strong just had to fight the 2 strongest in series.
9:52 absolutely the best part of the episode.. Sukuna is SUCH as jerk and has a very dark humor. Imagine in the middle of a fight with a special curse and a giant meteor lava gets thrown at you then in the middle of all this chaos u see a few humans trying to run away from the meteor impact and u just hop in and say "nobody leaves until I say so"... but why Sukuna???? 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 nobody even dared to question him lmao!
I love how Gege was able to show the small difference between Gojo and Sukuna, while having both fought Jogo. You see how big of an ego Gojo has with him calling Jogo weak, but Sukuna has a certain amount of respect and honor for his opponent, even going as far as calling Jogo strong.
Somehow people forget *how Jogo pulled up to Gojo* in S1 cocky af to say he would kill him even after "Geto" warned him not to. He set himself up to be teased. Jogo had his own arrogance then...that's not on Gojo to poke fun at a guy that was cocky af like the way he was to him before. He had no reason to respect someone that came to kill him and kill others as a curse.

@@raec5426Nobody forgot. That doesnt change the fact that Gojo is cocky as hell. Not necessarily a bad thing, it's apart of his character but the author's intention was clearly to show the difference in their mind set.

It gets them the most money. I'd say shoen of the year, most wont give a shonen anime of the year just due to it not having time to be super deep as people like melancholy deep discussions about life rather than fights. @@karna3588 friern will win this year or some slice of life, which is fine.
Maybe worse cos hell's paradise, aot, chainsaw man ecc all had better fight animations than this 💀

Sukuna is evil
He is ruthless and will humiliate you but he teaches his opponents and respects them after a fight
He is such an amazing character
This fight also showed how powerful Jogo is, despite sukuna throwing him around,we see how powerful his attacks are especially meteor
He truly is as strong as 9 fingers sukuna

@@real_rutmen He's additude does show dont tell in explaining his character past just generic pure evil, also this whole generic shonen or so on thing is weird as people called that about gojo and sakuna but most shonen don't keep the demon evil or have the side character be the power ceiling period day one so on. I think its ok to hate it but you don't have the full context and ignore context you have. Sukuna later is basically a main character and alludes to his past and the ways he feels about being human. Its pretty obvious he parralles the lonely ness gojo has at being above others. Not the deepest thing but I rather that then them break down into a evangelion tirade about depression so I can call it deep.

Gojo - Strongest Jujutsu Sorcerer of the Modern Age
Toji - Strongest Non Sorcerer
Sukuna - Strongest Curse or Sorcerer of his Era (I’d say he’s something higher than both at this point but Imma still consider him a Cursed Spirit)
I see those three guys as “The God, The King, and the Non Believer.”
I swear on my mama, that 8:52 sequence is a reference to Birdy the Mighty. And mad respect to Jojo. He always fought his hardest despite his bad luck at getting paired against the most powerful characters in the series. He was indeed strong o7

Toji did stab Megumi but what Megumi did there was to make him miss his vitals. You can see that he wanted to time it right (which he was saying earlier) ...... he managed to open a portal right beneath his feet just at the moment of impact so that he can dodge the critical hit by making it seem unintentional (otherwise Toji might have noticed that )

The direction and animation with music made me feel I was in shibuya. They made Sukuna so drippy and chotic. Mappa did a fab job on making this grim, crazy and scary.
3:00 Just to clear this small misconception, for some reason the subtitles say Gojo can heal others with RCT. Gojo cannot heal others with RCT, he hasn't shown it at all. There's only 3 people who can heal others with RCT and that's Yuta, Shoko and one other person you know.

Tremendous episode. The animators deserve all the praise for consistently delivering greatness despite the horrible work conditions. They displayed Jogo’s power extremely well but it was still not even close to a warmup for Sukuna
how can a studio deliver consistent greatness, when they have horrible work conditions? Youre not making any sense. If they have horrible work conditions, it would mean that the quality of the anime is not good.
@@CrystronHalq cause the staff members working on JJK this season are made up of the industry’s best. If it was a lesser team working on it it would look horrible. It’s no secret that MAPPA treats it’s staff horribly with the terrible scheduling. They even had to sign NDAs that they wouldn’t speak up about it and many of them tweet every week how sorry they are about having to send in unfinished cuts of animation.
And terrible working conditions are pretty common in animation especially in Japan. MAPPA is one of the more notable ones of recent years

Seeing Jogo go full out just shows how many people in shibuya he could have soloed
Jogo can kill every single sorcerer (except special grades) at the same time and it wont even be close.
@@real_rutmen That's not saying much. The special grades are the only heavy hitters in the show if we're being honest. People like Nanami aren't exactly a big threat.

1:48 : The way Toji used the paving stone debris for killing Shadow Bunnies was insane.
4:30 : Toji was happy to heard Gojo didn't let the Zen'in clan take Megumi with them. That's why when he heard his name, he decided to go out in the living. The voici we heard at the end of the flashback of Toji must be his wife tell him to take care of Megumi. It was his last wish also so and he could see his son grown up too. He didn't need to interfere into the life of his son and his battles.
5:15 : you will know later why this blonde guy couldn't be killed by Nanami , already during their fight something down his eyes was a clue.
6:17 : The voice of the character is the same of the voice off in One Piece Anime.
For Sukuna, i think with all the clues we see and heard , he's not a curse even he's the king of Curses. And the fact he could go to the "Paradise" of Jogo at the end , make me believe of something. I wait more clues to confirmed "What's is Sukuna?".
