Hi guys, thanks for the fantastic video and especially for explaining how to test whether brake controller is working, I was preparing for a long trip and had no idea how to know that the controller actually works and is not defective. I only have two questions, if you have a chance to reply. 1) is there any way to know whether the electronics responsible for proportionate braking is working properly (e.g. does it correctly evaluate the pace of deceleration)? 2) what light bulb (wattage) can I use to create a similar testing device so that it wouldn’t burn during the testing but also would be enough to light up. Also is there a difference between AC and DC lamps? Like will a regular lamp from home socket work or should it be an automotive lamp?
What an informative video! Thank you! This is a true plug and play system that works!
You're welcome! Glad you find this useful @eddiew4063 !

Can you just tap into pin7 to get the brake light signal ?
Will it work on a 2014 BMW X5?
Junk it’s ok maybe for dinky toys
Yeah nah I'm not watching some dude with a man bun.
The man bun is gone now though
A man bun is a personal preference. That said, it looks ridiculous in a professional setting.
Feel free to flame me.
I'm sure his boyfriend loves it, and that's all that matters.
