I have this same jukebox that's currently being restored. I got it from my mother who bought it, fully working, in the 60s for $125. It's had a lot of play time, over the years. A few months ago, she had a partial ceiling collapse that broke the dome glass. I got the replica replacement with decals, and it's getting the full once over to make sure it's 100% functional.
I had this same model jukebox in my basement growing up. Unfortunately, we sold it with the house when we moved. We never had any problems with it. Thanks for sharing. Brings back great memories.
i love your jukebox story i think its so cool that you saw it in the 70s and you have held on to it for so long your 50 dollar investment really came up i have the same appreciation of jukeboxes as well

There was a place here in Coos Bay,Oregon called Sunset Automatic Music Company that sold and serviced juke boxes and pinball machines.They were in business until the late '90s to the early 2000s.The building has since been torn down and an RV place is now there on the site.I bought alot of 45s from there for a dime each.This was in 1974.
Nice Video! I'm just starting a restoration on a 100G. Since you have an original cabinet, I'd love to see some detailed photos of the side panels and base details. My machine cabinet is 'well used' so I'd like to restore close to what it looked like originally and clear photos of the sides and bottom of the cabinets on original machines are few and far between.
Awesome jukebox and videoI used to have a seeburg hf100R an I'd bought it off of a school back in 1983 for $50.00 I sure wish I'd kept it I think seeburg were the most reliable mubox made

And Believe by Cher: I'm surprised: I thought they quit pressing 45s before that song was released. (But they resumed pressing 33s and wish they'd resume 45s... ....even 78s!! You see, I think vinyl has the best sound - even though Cher started using a computer to record...)

Relic from the past.....and, also, a VERY CLEVER MONEY-MAKING gadget---they could have invented just a metal box with a button that you push, in order to hear your song, but, no, some ingenious person came up with the idea of a mechanical gadget that selects a record , and all of it enclosed by a see-through glass case, (people are fascinated by seeing machinery in action) and, all of us SUCKERS bought into it !!! HA !! ( oh, and, p.s.......absolutely NO NOSTALGIA FOR THE PAST, on the part of " the kid", here !!)
