It's so important to point out that evil in human behaviour goes beyond just the natural world, and crosses over into supernatural elements and influences. The fact that there is an agenda behind that divergent understanding is pretty key, as well. I'm glad you pointed out that evil - lack of ownership, lack of responsibility, no awareness of sin, no guilt, no shame - is not only enmity against God, but against creation, too. That God created all things, and designed His creation to function according to goodness, means that evil is, in all senses of the word, a corruption. It makes me think about how God told Cain that the blood of Abel was crying out to Him from the ground. We must certainly stand firm against the shifting sands which the spiritual forces of evil use to divert our attention and manipulate us into distraction. Scripture calls us to be sober, watchful, and ready. Thank God that He gives us the helmet of salvation, protecting our minds even as He calls us to guard them! Thanks for this message. Ok then, I guess nuclear annihilation IS imminent because evil is running the show and evil refuses to see reason. Just wants to control resources to loot their value before disposing of them...stomps on any life that doesn't want to be effed over: 'do what i want and maybe i won't beat you'. Evil devours life.
