I'm from the USA and I'm a big fan of these incredible singers. I know they will become mega stars at an international level.
They went to Eurovision for the Netherlands in May 2017 with "Lights and shadows"... so beautiful! The song was about their mother who at that moment was in the final stage of cancer. So special she was able to come and watch her 3 beautiful daughters shine on stage bringing a tribute to their mother. She died in July 2017...
This is a Dutch show called De beste zangers van Nederland (The best singers of the Netherlands). All these people on the couch are also Dutch famous singers. They sing the songs from one of the singers on the couch . Each week they all have to sing a song from one of the artist. OGENE sang a song that meant a lot to the black girl. After they are done one of the other artists sings a song for her... and so on... And the week after the other artist will sing OGENE songs to OGENE and that how is goes.
Don' t forget Jan Smit, he's a famous singer in the Netherlands too ;)

This same program brought Glennis Grace her first big number one hit in The Netherlands, called "Afscheid" (transl: last goodbye).
They are actually being coached by their father. I believe he makes their arrangements, not sure. But it's the whole family in harmony, literally. Their mother passed away over a year ago. They won The Voice years ago I believe. They are truly magical singers imo. It's not like there's one that's good and the others are supporting. They're all really good and in harmony with each other.

And the O is their bloodtype, so their genes I guess. In this clip they're performing for a group of other Dutch singers, well known in The Netherlands. It's not a competition of some sort, but rather a show of their talent to one another. Again, thank you for reacting to them!
This concept would be amazing in the UK too. Just amazing British artist enjoying each others music and talent acoustic and pure.
They are 3 sisters from the Netherlands (2 of them are actually twins).
They were performing on a show called 'De Beste Zangers' (The Best Singers). The other people in the audience are also Singers (from different genres).
On each show, they have to do a song from another singer (there style/genre or favorite kind of Music).

They are 3 sisters, 2 being twins, you pronounced the name correctly, its ogene so to speak, has to do with the bloodtype of their mother i believe and the genes they share, so O'g3ne (3 sisters)
The show is actually a really nice concept you might appreciate, its called "de beste zangers" or, "the best singers".
The idea behind it is, to have a group of singers, go to a far away place, secluded from family for 2 weeks, in these 2 weeks, they study eachother's work, then every evening i believe, they shoot an episode, and each episode, one of the singers there, gets the spotlight, and all the other singers, will perform a song by them, or a song that has great meaning to the singer they are performing for.
Its set in a relaxing atmosphere, and they all get to know eachother better, and by proxy, we learn more too.
Also, they do not pick 6 popstars to be there all at the same time, its always a mix of theater, musical, pop, rock or caribean, and anything else you can think of, like Jazz and blues, and that is the real challenge, to have a opera singer do a rock or popsong, the rock singer a opera and a jazz song, tje jazz singer a musical and pop song, etc etc. this generates amazing music for sure :)
You could see a older lady in a few shots, she's a dutch "legend" called Anita Meijer (nope, i mixed two videos and made a mistake, this is Willeke Alberti, not Anita Meijer, but the rest of my reply can remain the same), she's a classic pop star, big in the 70's and 80's (and still one of the best i feel) you might like to check her out someday as well. altho i now have to add, that unlike Anita, Willeke sings dutch... so yeah, still worth checking her out too though :D

And i feel its a daring song, its Barcelona by Freddy Mercury and Montserrat Caballe.

Hi there, nice to see that finally also OGENE comes to visit you. The show you are looking at has the concept that every artist sings a song from the other (audience are the other well-known artists in the Netherlands). Each weekly show is another central artist. The group consists of three sisters who are very pouliar in the Netherlands. Nice fact is to know that the left is born with only one lung. All the more beautiful to honor her vocal qualities.

O'G3NE are indeed sisters and have been singing together since they were very little. They represented the Netherlands at the Eurovision songfestival a few years ago.

Yes they are 3 sisters.. that is why the 3 is in the band name.. the O is because of their mothers blood type.. she was very ill and died 2 years ago.. the gene is because they all have their mothers gene's in them... that is how the band name came about... it is pronounced O-Gene !! The 2 sisters on the outside are twins.. the one in the middle is 1 year older. The girl on the left (Amy) was born with 1 lung and also has a heart condition....sometimes while performing she struggles to catch her breath.. her twin sister notices this and she picks up her lines !

There are like Glennis Grace from Holland. favorite of mine as well and there are 3 sisters the left and right one are twins in there 20,s all 3 of them and singing from very young age. Father is singer songwriter/producer and wrote many songs for them and one they sang on the Eurovision songcontest and was writting for there ( recently passed away ) beloved mother. They are sisters, the middle one, Lisa, is the oldest and Amy ( the redhead) and Shelley ( with the brown hair) are twins. The O in Og3ne ( pronounced as Ojeen) is the the bloodtype of their mother and the G3ne the genes thats binds them. This was recorded at a show called ''De beste zangers van Nederland'' ( The best singers of Holland) the guests are all singers and they choose numbers for each other to sing and then rate each other. The girls have a unique style they call echoing, you should watch it, they have an upload were they are showing that and there is a upload from ''Beste zangers" were they preform Sing by Ed Sheeran and use that technique.

they represented the Netherlands at eurovision 2017 they are the Amy, Lisa, shelley vol.
It's a Dutch TV entertainmentprogram with Dutch singers who perform for eachother, sometimes singing eachothers songs.
Thie three ladies are sisters who won the The voice of Holland some yaers ago and they perfom on the ESC 2017.

The woman they are singing for this episode in 'The best singers of Holland' is Sharon Doorson (she was selected in a Dutch tv program long ago to be in a girlband 'Raffish' with Eva Simons and others) after they split up she auditioned for the second season of the Voice of Holland and made it to the semi-finals. She recently became a mom so I guess her career is a bit on hold for a little while :) I really like her voice so maybe you could review a vid of her as well. Other seasons of 'De beste zangers van Nederland' are also fun to check out because these videos are from 2016. Season 2017 has really nice vids as well for example the artist 'Maan'. And 2018 just started on tv (Alain clark, Treintje Oosterhuis and Davinia Michelle are my favorites so far).

the sisters all got quite a thick dutch accent in their singing and sometimes pronounce the words a bit corny.....all in all they always put up great performances ;p

Ah yeah the three lovely sisters, there is a lot going on before you even react too them.
First of all at that moment there is a emotional sentiment going on. The three sisters have a deadly ill mother who is passed away at a young age, Their father hooked up with a girlfriend shortly after their mother died with a 35 year younger girl.
This girl is only 19 years old, while the sisters are around 25 years. One of the sisters has one lung, so that makes singing extreme difficult. They entered the ESC, and they lost there big time at the moment when there mother was dying, very tragic and a big story in the Netherlands.
As for the show, it has been called the best singers of the netherlands, you see all kinds of singers on the sofa with all a different genre. The thing is that they mae a television program, where they perform for other singers doing a song of them, or a song that is a favorite. At the end you get a big emotional rollercoaster, that is what this show is all about, that music feels up their deepest emotions.

Very interesting. Everybody and I mean literally everybody is impressed by the harmonies these girls produce. And that is what they are known for. You on the other had don't say anything other than that their voices blend nicely together. You don't seem impressed at all. Surprising.
