Vocal Coach Reacts! O'G3NE! Clown! Live!
I highly recommend their Beste Zangers performance of "Sing" just for the echoing they do in it. Their home isolation version of Bohemian Rhapsody is VERY good as well.
To me, "Beste Zangers" is one of the best music shows to have ever been made, the concept and approach to it, is unique and gives us good old-fashioned grade-A television.
No competition, no drama, nothing.. just the love for music and singing and honoring the other singers who are part of that season... its a truly amazing show.
Instead of following the "norm" of what every show has become these days, they grabbed back to simpler times instead and it shows... this is what music lovers all over the globe want to watch.
By now i've seen reactions from about a 100 nations world wide, and each of the reactors mentioned at least once, that they wished they had a show like that in their respective countries, and if that isnt proof that this is one hell of a good show, then i dont know what would.
The Og3ne sisters are amazing and rightfully became a big part of our national pride, we adore them for who they are and for what they can do, they too dont follow the norm, they too reach back to "better times" with their harmonies and song choices.
I feel that the internet was invented for this, to share talents globally and have people fall in love with singers/performers who they never ever would be aware of, if it wasnt for the world wide web.

I remember watching their audition on TH-cam years ago. They won that season of the voice right? Master of harmonies . . . Love 'em.
They also won the junior version of Eurovision before that and recorded songs for kids under their own names.
And they won dance dance dance as well 💃🤣
Following these girls for 4 years now after a visit to Holland .. simply amazing and I admit I shed a tear of vocal joy after hearing them.

You should watch the home isolation video's! Amazing, all three of them singing on the phone seperated from there own homes! Specially the Queen one, I have no words how good that one is

Shelley has such a crazy, agile voice, and they all sang with so much so and emotion. I am in love with all of their tones.

Did you know that that second girl (called Amy) only has one lung? I think it's very special to sing that good if you only have one lung.
And to answer your question, yes they are sisters. To girls on the left (Amy) and right (Shelley) are twins and the girl in the middle (Lisa) is the older sister.

They’re sisters, they’ve been singing together for a very long time (even participated in junior songfestival ) and won the Dutch voice. They’ve mastered something they call “echoing” ( they also do that in “beste zangers” with the song “ Sing “ from ed Sheehan. You should also definitely listen/ react to their version of bohemian rhapsody by queen. Which they recorded isolated from each other, only hearing the instruments and not each other!’

Hi Scott, so glad I can watch some happy reactors now with great music. Yesterday my mother died at 73 because of the virus. It is even unclear if I can be at her funeral, because I got a handicap and depend on transportation, which I can't get because of symptoms I got. My fiance is in lockdown on the other side of the world in the Fillipines... So I am sad an lonely now. Reactors give me some piece of mind now, making me feel less alone in my grieve. Thank you...

Hi there! The Group OGENE looking like the E is turned around to be OG3NE. The Gene standing for the are Sisters and have the same genes. The one in middle is the older sister and the two on the ends are Twins! They have been singing group since they were children and have won many awards in the Netherlands. The 3 sisters are, from right to left, Amy, Lisa, and Shelly. Amy and Shelly are fraternal twins. Amy had surgery and only has one lung. They do kick ass.

In 2017 they joined the Eurovision contest with Lights and Shadows.
Can you react to their sing cover it’s on their channel. In sing you can get a peak of each one’s vocal range
Shelly(brunette) is the mezzo of the group, she has the highest range and also sings soprano. Amy( gold hair) she is the soprano of the group she has a high chest voice but she often switches with shelly at the very high notes. Lisa(platinum blonde hair) is the alto of the group she has the lowest range but can also go very high.

Lisa sounds more mezzo soprano. Shelly is soprano to me, but I can accept her as a mezzo.
You're right about who has the lowest voice and who has the widest range and stuff, I just disagree with your classifications.
Are you sure that Shelley has the highest range?
And i'm not sure about Lisa neither. Her voice isn't that high. And when she tries to sing higher sometimes it doesn't sound good. She is way better in her lowest range.
Diasmc Coelho shelly has the highest she has a very high head voice and mix up to G6

Hi Sam, Thanks for your reaction. These are indeed sisters, and moreover there is a set of twins, the blond being the non-twin. They have been singing together since a very young age, which might explain their abillity to harmonize so well. They have been participating in the Eurovision song contest. They were touring very succesfully until the corona outbreak and there are very good recordings on YT of these concerts. Definitely worth looking into! And apart from all this, they have developed a special manner of singing that they call echoing in which they alternate every word in a song, the result being an continuous flow of song by three different singers. Beste Zangers is not a contest.
Their singing eachothers song (changing it to their own) en also other singers too. They are enjoying themselves mostly on a Spanish Island.

They some fantastic video's that you'll love. Ed Sheerans Sind that has a something special in it, Bohemian Rhapsody that got approval from Queen themselves and they just have a Disney medley out that shows their abilities very well . Pick one for a reaction and I'll bet you you'll try another.

Amy was born with one lung in 2014 They won The Voice of Holland Their blind Audition was Bee Gees "Emotion" the Finale They did their Own song "Magic" also at Beste Zangers(Best Singers) check out their cover of Ed Sheeran "Sing" they use a technique they perfected growing up called Echoing using their hands they show you who has the lead when they do the echoing part it's very quick their changes.

It's pronounced o-gene because they are sisters thus sharing genes. The 3 is there simply because of their number.
Great reaction! OG3NE is from the Netherlands. Lisa, Amy, and Shelly are sisters. In this video Lisa at 25 years old is in the center, Amy is on the left with Shelly on the right. Yes sir, these are 3 (Shelly , Lisa , Amy) Dutch sisters(the two standing on the outside are twins) from the Netherlands. therefore the 3 in their name Og3ne (just pronouce it as OGENE), its just the letter e mirrored, referring to the siblings. I think because of they have been singing together their whole live their harmony is pitch perfect. You should listen to the Medleys they have here on youtube, for instance; Bohemian Rhapsody. Please do another video where you give your reaction.

they call it echo-ing i think, maked them famous in the netherlands ,this from beste zangers 2016.2 are twins,1 of them has only 1 lung( don't know the whole story about that),thats why they are in quarantine , you could do a special about them,there's a lot,100% no regrets or a waist of your time
Not quite. They indeed invented a technique they call 'echoing' but the only time I've seen them use it was in the cover of Ed Sheeran's 'Sing'. That performance was part of Beste Zangers 2016 as well. There's also a homemade video by them in which they explain and demonstrate the technique.

There is at least a version in Belgium called Liefde voor muziek (translated love for music) and a german version I don't remember the name off.
As does Sweden, Germany, Denmark and Finland. Guess Northern Europe favour quality over views.
