Great to see it finally road worthy. The wheel and tire combo looks great. Thanks to you and my wife, I finally got the '67 GTO back on the road too. Thanks for the inspiration.
Your truck is looking awesome! Those wheels make it pop. You are certainly blessed with a lift and all the equipment for personal use. I'm getting too old to crawl under my vehicle.
Truck looks really good and I like the wheels. I was worried when you were working on all the rust awhile back that is when most people stop these types of projects but you sir are a profesional! Thanks
Looks like the end is near of the project truck videos and it looks OUTSTANDING! I have been on board since day 1 and it was a pleasure to watch all your hard work pay off. Great Job Jimmy!
I like the way the roof, the side, and the wheels work together to contrast the dark body. The wheel caps give just the right amount of chrome. Good going, Jimmy.
Morning Jimmy! Sunday morning coffee and project truck video, awesome! The 62 Chevy turned out great! Do you have to calibrate the speedometer, or is it gear driven from the trans and just a gear change? Just curious. Thanks for sharing the journey cause you're awesome!
Truck looks good Jimmy. I am going to miss you weekly video updates on it. Believe it or not my 64' sounds damn near the same. My front wheels are not hub centric either. I haven't really noticed any vibrations. I do have the weights on the outside of the rim but they are covered by a chrome trim ring.
Kinda sad to see it come to a close. It'll be cool to see a roadtest and see that new cluster in action. Can we raffle it off and get you started on the next project? Lol
Jimmy outstanding job on the project truck looking at it with those new fancy wheels, have you considered painting those the color of the roof just wondering
The rear are 4.5 backspacing and the front are 4.0. Rears are 20x9 and fronts are 20x8. I did have to tweak my track bar in back to remove a very slight tire rub on the bed wood. Heat and bend did the trick. But there are adjustable ones available.
It changed it a LOT! The rear is a 4.10 though, so the other tires were actually way small even with the 5 speed. Now I should be able To cruise at 70mph 1900 rpm…I think. Not positive of the 5th ratio but guessing .62 od.
Chill on the projects for awhile. You spend too much time at work. Drive what you have for a few years retire get another project keep you busy at the house.
🔧🔩🪛🛞☕️👍🛻 project truck looking good!
Oh yeah! Haha, thanks Alex!
Hi Jimmy
Hey Eddie!
I can hardly wait for ear tag Friday test run Jimmy .
Haha, probably working on that one today!
The truck has made a great transformation since I first saw it. A style all its own.
Thank you Lloyd!

Right on, thanks very much!
The truck looks great with those wheels Jimmy!
Thanks M! :)
The chrome centers really set those wheels off. Looks really good. Boyd Coddington wheels are top notch.
Thanks Biggie! Eventually I might find some trim rings for them too. :)
I'm a ford guy all day, but damn I love the look of this truck !!!! I'd love to see some pictures of previous cars you've done
Thanks Brandon. I’ll see if I can dig some up for a short clip.

Morning Jimmy! Sunday morning coffee and project truck video, awesome! The 62 Chevy turned out great! Do you have to calibrate the speedometer, or is it gear driven from the trans and just a gear change? Just curious. Thanks for sharing the journey cause you're awesome!
Thanks Marty!
The speedo is sensor driven, have to calibrate it yet though.

I wish they made trim rings for these. Drove it today and made a video for next week…she needs more work, lol.
Prefer chrome one on your truck, sorry Jimmy.
It’s all good, everyone likes different looks. :)
Your video's are excellent Jimmy. I see no need to go through all the extra work, with remote mic's and turning four pieces.of equipment on.
Glad you like them! Thanks Wolley!
Kinda sad to see it come to a close. It'll be cool to see a roadtest and see that new cluster in action. Can we raffle it off and get you started on the next project? Lol
Yeah, we’ll have to come up with some more on it. She’ll still need to be tweaked I’m sure!
looks like from that movies Cars. maybe make it look like that and drive around disney
Haha, maybe they’ll cut me a check?
Jimmy outstanding job on the project truck looking at it with those new fancy wheels, have you considered painting those the color of the roof just wondering
Yeah, I’ve been contemplating it. For now I’ll run em as is and see how I feel in a month or so about it.
What backspacing did you get for front and rear?
The rear are 4.5 backspacing and the front are 4.0. Rears are 20x9 and fronts are 20x8.
I did have to tweak my track bar in back to remove a very slight tire rub on the bed wood. Heat and bend did the trick. But there are adjustable ones available.
Do you still have the torsion bar suspension on it?
Yeah, still stock suspension all around, other than rear lowering coils.
How much did the taller tires change your rear axle ratio?
It changed it a LOT! The rear is a 4.10 though, so the other tires were actually way small even with the 5 speed. Now I should be able To cruise at 70mph 1900 rpm…I think. Not positive of the 5th ratio but guessing .62 od.

Just may do that Phil. We’ll wait and bit and sort it out after some rest.
