And the person who the system determined was chronically depressed was fired.

Yay! Hopefully raspberry pi can keep these in stock! Then dojo Debbey can rise again!

You’re gonna need a bigger battery for dojo derby to run a pi 5!

I am sad to admit that during the shortage, I "cheated" on Raspberry Pi with a used small thin client computer. I was broke, desperate and lonely. One thing leed to another. I woke up with a used ~$50 Think Center in my bed. 😪

A 64 bit vibrator is exactly what some women prefer. Overclock the realtime clock and hit the G spot every time!

The CPU fan is optional, it'll clock lower but still be functional.

      “Optional”…

@@EliComputerGuyLive Yes. ARM cores are very power efficient. See the Phoronix review and benchmarks on the RPi 5, Michael tested it with and without fan.

@@EliComputerGuyLive Granted, still 80-90C. Not optimal.

Did the CPU fan come with the pi5? I am trying to get the items I need before it gets to me.

But Eli! Release the kill bot! Computer man!

AI empowers people to be lazy and dependent. The Raspberry Pi 5 allows individuals to empower themselves.
I need a new computer and I something like this might be good enough for virtually everything I do.

PCI-E slot perfect for coral ai tensor module. tensor cores would be better for the computer vision.

I am watching your video on Firefox , using Pi 4 clocked at 1.5 GHZ by Debian 11.( Pi OS is Debian 11 based, for now ) This is a later 1.GHZ part but Debian 11 does not vary the clock for tha faster rev P4 CPUs. Thu this is bone stock, with a bit of video stutter. Thus this baseline shows the P4 is just a bit under powered running Firefox. Given a P5 (Yes Please!!!) things should be smooth as butter. . Like the Pi4 the Pi folks have left room for a later version with more RAM than the release time models. All the new power will slot into the pi ecosystem easily. You could have lower powered Pis was sensor front ends, feeding Pi5 in a central setting, with not a Non-Pi machine in sight. .
I hope we won't have another PI rush starving the public for P5 anywhere near list prices. The Pi buying public has already got a head of steam, ahead of the Pi5's release, and the release of necessary supporting hardware. This pressure may bring more companies. out to play in the Pi marketplace. BTW I have been dusting off an old Celeron system from the XP era. Running Firefox on that box was agonizing. It would run, but that 2 GHZ single core was just hanging on by a whisker. II believe it will access local web interfaces just fine. Thanks and good luck.

Honestly it's a little underwhelming, I was hoping for 8 cores and 16gb ramm like it's competition. The PCie slot is really nice through!

If you want something like that, there are barebone mini-PC's that are a few hundred dollars more.
These things are still development and learning boards for education.
