When you get to erect in the saddle the horse will think you are wanting him to stop or slow down go thru the rounding of the barrel with him ! Rounding posture is everything…

It was being used correctly just bc the horse was going at the time she doesn’t want that horse to lose speed and by her hitting the horse w the rope she had wasn’t hurting it but kinda just getting the horse to not lose that drive to keep going.
