Great job done by your team, please just to add, the water used in washing the instrument is not enough and as she's washing, the instrument should be submerged completely in the water and the brush should rather be used in washing the ciliated parts of the forceps, all the same your team in really helping us, thanks.
Yes the rinsing should be under running water, but we didn't have running water there. Also this task is performed in a sluice room, which should also be noted. Thank u
That's a very great job well done. Just to add that, Apart from the early comments, the picture quality is not good enough. Please if you can improve on it. But generally you guys are doing great.👍👍👍
The processing is done on all none disposable instruments after using for wound dressing or any invasive procedure. In this case they were dressing and dissecting forceps, kidney dish, stitch removing scissors and Gallipots
You have to calculate the amount of water needed for the solution (0.5%) by using this formulae (Stock strength/required strength) - 1. The stock strength used in this video was 5% so at the end it will be 9 parts of water mixed with 1 part of the concentrated chlorine. So if you are using 6parts of water then it is dependent on your stock strength

Procedures are more understandable ❤
1 part of 5% chlorine to be diluted to 0.5%. Also a question, is it ok to soak oxygen face mask with an EOU set?
Why are you not rinsing it under running water

She used one cup of chlorine (so that is the measured chlorine) and 9 cups of water

Please do we wear utility gloves during washing of instrument? I know we wear single/ disposable gloves
The appropriate one to wear is utility gloves not disposable nor surgical
Utility gloves is the right gloves for the procedure but if you don't have you can improvise Examination gloves instead
And moreover may I know what liquid was in the second tray
That's plane water for rinsing. Ideally it should be rinsed u der running water (tap) if there is one.
Noted God bless you abundantly
Why not warm water please
@@ayebiemavis4946is either warm water or cool water... and morever tap water is usually warm
Please she should have mentioned the name of the various instruments under going the process

Yes. That's the type of gloves for this procedure
Relook at your procedure please

Recheck; she used the brush while washing the forceps (after washing the last kidney dish)
Alright thanks
