1st Calvary Division is stationed in Fort Hood Texas. I don't know when did unelected folks get to make these decisions but it needs to stop. If the cavalrymen wish to rename it, then let them vote on it. And I'll totally respect that decision if they wish to rename their home.
@@ArmyVet82ndAbn If soldiers stationed there are legitimately insulted by the name then let's do a special election where you bring your military I.D. and those stationed there and formerly stationed there can re-name it. I can't stand how they did this. The majority of troops are fine with the names. Hood has some real actual problems that go beyond something trivial like a name.
The Cav is stationed at Ft. Hood , Texas . I don't know where that other place is .

I feel the same way, this woke BS in the military needs to stop. They will always be Ft. Bragg, Ft. Benning and Ft Hood to me.
