Nice cover. I would like to add something if you don't mind. The first part of the distorted riff. You are playing two palm muted notes on the E string then playing the single notes on A. If you listen to the original recording. The E and A string notes sound like they are being played as triplet gallop. If you check out the song more closely. You will hear the triplet gallop in several places.
Just my two cents. Can take it or leave it. Thanks for the video man. Candlemass doesn't get as much recognition as they deserve.

I know it's a gallop there, I just can't do it. I mean I can do that kind of gallop, just not within that riff (long story short, permanent EPS/parkinsonism makes playing difficult, especially certain kinds of riffs). When I tried, my hands would get "locked up" and "stuck" or delayed, so I had to simplify it.

The first candlemass is the best to me, from the guitar tone, to the overall atmosphere, I think Johan's vocals are superior to messiah marcolin, who I think sound too theatrical.

Johan and Robert are my top Candlemass singers.

To be honest, I don't remember, maybe whatever was in the tab I learned it from (assuming that tab was correct and I didn't have to figure it out), at least the same notes at any rate.
If you're trying to learn it by ear and can't get it, it's because the original tuning is off by half a semi-tone (I actually pitch shifted the original to correct the tuning). I can't remember if the tuning is half way between C# and D or D and D#. On my cover, I pitch corrected it to D tuning.
