    As I’m pushing 54, i know my PR’s are over. As long as I’m out doing the best i can on my runs, I’m happy with whatever time i get. Im moving and doing something. I dont have a track to run on, i use my country roads lol. And i always feel better, no matter what the time. Yes, some days my legs are heavy but i push through. Good luck on the hyrox

    Agree....the days my mind says "you are too tired" or "you are too sore" that try to influence me to not go to the gym are typically my best workout days.

    Try running those track sessions in something like the Adidas Adizeo Adios 8. Firm hard light shoes but you'll be flying. Those are too cushiony which will absorb your energy for a loss of energy return but I'm sure you know this.
