When I was in fifth grade, no joke everyone in my class played this game during the last hours of free worktime. I was the first person to beat the game but it took us MONTHS. And he beat it in less than an hour. Yeah I get he’s a speed runner but damn.
I remember the days when the computer teacher said that we had free time and all the kids would race each other in this game. And the nerds that practiced at home to destroy the competition (including me). This game has inspired me to do speed runs and the nostalgia fest of you playing these games is hitting me right in the chest. Great Video Man!

Run 3 didn’t exist for me, but Run 2 was amazing. My goal was always to finish before my time was up, got to about a 10-15 min pace for all the main levels
I love how he even tells us that he’s not the best speed runner and still keeps doing what he loves. That shows that no matter how good you are at something, you still need to keep at it. Besides he already is a good speed runner!

In class what I used to do was try to beat every level possible in Run 3 without jumping, there are certain tricks that allow you to gain air and clear gaps without actually jumping. Your character's concept of "down" changes as you go around the circle so if you turn one of the corners really quickly you can clean certain gaps. Merely going fast enough allows you to slam across certain gaps and somewhat clear them, but you lose all your speed doing this. Once you unlock the rollerblades more jumps become possible but speed and reaction time becomes absolute hell. It's a fun challenge, I enjoyed it more than playing the actual game :P I'll admit, certain levels I think just aren't possible without jumping hto sadly

If you enter inspect mode, you can use the select element tool to click on the ads and remove them. this is something you'll want to do, because whenever an ad changes to a different ad, it causes a lag spike.

Run 3 feels like the ultimate edition of the Run series. Changes to the tunnels to allow for more sides, branching paths for challenge areas, an infinite run mode, a level creator, many characters with unique abilities, it just feels super solid throughout. I have many good memories of this game, especially when I challenged some guys who were pretty full of themselves to speedrun it against me and they were dumbstruck.
The Bunny's top speed is a bit higher than the Skater's. Theoretically, speedrunners should unlock the Bunny ASAP and use it as much as possible, but the problem is that not all levels let the Bunny build up that much speed.
In 5th grade, everyone in the morning went on coolmathgames and did this. I was so happy when i beat it. This and the 6 minutes podcast (look it up its a cool podcast) remind me of fifth grade.

There is a program called Blue Maxima Flashpoint, I use it all the time to play flash games even though flash is still there but as regards speedruns I don't know if it's allowed or not.

There's only 65 levels! I thought it was a number like 100. I kept dying on level 64 thinking "if this is level 64, what are the other 36 levels are going to be like?" I then completed the level as the skater, because I forgot you can switch characters, and saw level 65 thinking "nope". I was 1 level away from completing all the main levels! Great game. The music definitely got me hooked. Great video!

the lag spike is a cool math games problem, because they have a counter that shows what level you are on and how many levels there are, so updating the level bar causes a tiny bit of lag, it applys to pretty much all games on cool math games
