When I was in fifth grade, no joke everyone in my class played this game during the last hours of free worktime. I was the first person to beat the game but it took us MONTHS. And he beat it in less than an hour. Yeah I get he’s a speed runner but damn.

I remember the days when the computer teacher said that we had free time and all the kids would race each other in this game. And the nerds that practiced at home to destroy the competition (including me). This game has inspired me to do speed runs and the nostalgia fest of you playing these games is hitting me right in the chest. Great Video Man!
I used to have so much free time in classes. People asked me to beat harder levels cause they knew I did nothing but play video games.

On 1:12 u can see the time says 2: 17 minutes , when the video cuts it is 2: 18 minutes so that means the timer was still going when the video cut

Run 3 didn’t exist for me, but Run 2 was amazing. My goal was always to finish before my time was up, got to about a 10-15 min pace for all the main levels
I remember playing and beating this in 2nd grade, my classmates would come to me for help on levels. However, if it's level 40 I would most definitely refuse.

Haven't heard Coolmathgames mentioned in a long time. I remember playing it wayyyy back in 4th grade. I remembered playing cubix, 60 sec hero, and Run all the time. Those were the good days.

Hey folks, if you want to join the Run 3 Discord, there’s an invite on the Run Wikia!
In class what I used to do was try to beat every level possible in Run 3 without jumping, there are certain tricks that allow you to gain air and clear gaps without actually jumping.
Your character's concept of "down" changes as you go around the circle so if you turn one of the corners really quickly you can clean certain gaps.
Merely going fast enough allows you to slam across certain gaps and somewhat clear them, but you lose all your speed doing this.
Once you unlock the rollerblades more jumps become possible but speed and reaction time becomes absolute hell.
It's a fun challenge, I enjoyed it more than playing the actual game :P I'll admit, certain levels I think just aren't possible without jumping hto sadly

When do you unlock the bunny? Because if I remember correctly, it's by far the fastest character, so if you can get it before the end of the run, it might be worth changing.
To explain, the Bunny jumps constantly, and if you jump when it jumps, you get a fast jump. However, there's something I believe is a glitch that gives the bunny a small speed boost when it jumps. So if you can abuse gravity switching to hit walls very fast, you can go at insane speeds (but it is extremely hard to control)
You need to get 8 achievements to get bunny and for a world record it's not worth it

I love how he even tells us that he’s not the best speed runner and still keeps doing what he loves. That shows that no matter how good you are at something, you still need to keep at it. Besides he already is a good speed runner!

There’s a checkpoint glitch at the end of levels that save half a second. You need to be frame-perfect, unless you have the angle.

There is a program called Blue Maxima Flashpoint, I use it all the time to play flash games even though flash is still there but as regards speedruns I don't know if it's allowed or not.

I remember playing this game in math class every day. My class would try and see who can go the farthest. The teacher would check are screens and see if we were doing school work(we never were)

It's WABBIT SEASON.
The Bunny's top speed is a bit higher than the Skater's. Theoretically, speedrunners should unlock the Bunny ASAP and use it as much as possible, but the problem is that not all levels let the Bunny build up that much speed.

Run 3 feels like the ultimate edition of the Run series. Changes to the tunnels to allow for more sides, branching paths for challenge areas, an infinite run mode, a level creator, many characters with unique abilities, it just feels super solid throughout.
I have many good memories of this game, especially when I challenged some guys who were pretty full of themselves to speedrun it against me and they were dumbstruck.
