  • Introduction
Today, we delve into the world of the Srixon ZX Mk II range, specifically focusing on the latest irons. As we witness Chris getting fitted for these new clubs, we embark on a journey to discover the key features and benefits of these innovative golf clubs.
    Current Irons Evaluation
Chris begins by sharing his thoughts on his current set of Cobra King MB and CB combo irons. While he praises the aesthetics of these clubs, he acknowledges their lack of forgiveness and workability. The desire for more distance and forgiveness sets the stage for exploring new options in the Srixon range.
    Introducing the ZX7 Model
The ZX7 model boasts a slightly bigger head with a cavity design, offering a balance of forgiveness and control. The pure frame technology dampens vibrations on off-center hits, maintaining ball speed and distance. The VT split design ensures smooth turf interaction, enhancing clubhead speed for consistent performance.
    Comparison with Z Forge Blade
While the Z Forge blade offers a classic one-piece forged head, the ZX7 promises improved forgiveness and playability. The larger head and subtle design changes aim to address Chris's need for a more forgiving and distance-enhancing iron.
    Performance Testing and Feedback
During the fitting session, Chris experiences the enhanced performance of the ZX7 irons. The optimal ball speed, carry distance, and spin control showcase the potential of these clubs to elevate his game. The feedback from each shot guides the decision-making process towards finding the perfect fit.
    Exploring Customisation Options
Srixon offers a range of custom shaft options, including Nippon and KBS variants, to suit individual preferences. The choice between upright, standard, and flat lie angles allows for personalised adjustments to optimise performance. The flexibility in customisation caters to diverse player needs and preferences.
    Transition to ZX5 Irons
The ZX5 irons introduce the main frame technology, focusing on maintaining ball speed and consistency on off-center strikes. The innovative design features a split material composition for enhanced performance. The larger profile and stronger loft provide a blend of forgiveness and playability for golfers seeking a versatile set of irons.
    Price and Value Proposition
Srixon's competitive pricing of £150 per club positions the brand favorably against comparable irons in the market. The value proposition of high-quality performance at an affordable price point appeals to golfers looking to upgrade their equipment without breaking the bank.
    Final Recommendations and Insights
After thorough testing and analysis, the recommendation leans towards a combination of ZX7 and ZX5 irons to address Chris's specific needs. The balance of forgiveness, distance, and control offered by this setup aligns with his playing style and preferences. The potential for improved performance and consistency is a promising prospect for enhancing his overall game.
    Conclusion
As we conclude this exploration of the Srixon ZX Mk II range, the journey of fitting and testing unveils the impressive capabilities of these irons. From advanced technologies to customisable options, Srixon's commitment to innovation and performance shines through in their product range. For golfers seeking a competitive edge on the course, the Srixon ZX irons present a compelling choice worth considering.

Not seen u before ... not sure if i missed it ... but what's ur hcp? .... and have u thought of fixing that tiny fault in ur setup causing the cut shots more than any clubs u use? NOT being mean, disrespectful or anything like that ... far from it ... but there are 2 "easy" fixes there to make things much better without effort cause ur all around swing is dang good ;) I'm using Z Forged II after them #1 for 2 years before ... 1 hcp myself... loooooove Srixon to pieces as many others who'll try it will do .... wish u well in this game of ours ...

@@AFGOLFSTORE smoother less busy like the P790/770, T150/200 and the new Ping Bluepring T. The Srixon gets good reviews but all those back angles are too much and would prefer they be hidden.
