If they would just say 2000 watts at 1 ohm, for $150, that seems reasonable. 20 years ago I was paying $2000 for 2000 watts.

I had a few Phoenix gold amps back in the day that were bad ass at a dollar a watt. But none of them can compare to the shit now for a lot cheaper. I have a 8,000 watt amp that is unbelievably powerful my gain is all the way off and its still too much.

Back in the 90’s I’d take it for $150 for the amount of power it puts out and would of have had a lot more money in my pocket compared what I spent back then.
have not had a system since i was in high school am now 47 and spending like crazy after watching your videos thanks for nothing BIG D..... seeing all them amps i grown up with got me hooked again, to bad the names i grew up with mostly turned into garbage like hifonics.i loved them amps in the 90s and get upset everytime i see that name on the garbage they sell now.

I agree 100% it should be ILLEGAL to sell an amp with a rating like this. I could understand if it output even half of the rated power at 1ohm but certified it puts out way less than 20% of it's advertised power at 1ohm! That's criminal if you ask me.
I'm sure some will say "well it puts out about 2k dynamic at 1ohm and it's cheap!" but that's still only 25% of the supposedly 8k it's being sold as! What if you bought a computer, even a cheap one and the CPU in it only ran at 15-25% of it's rated speed at a maximum? You'd return it as defective! But it's supposed to be OK in the car amp world? I think not!
Remember, you are not paying for the amplifier, you are paying for the funky Bass knob. 🤣

Great video as always Big D. The 3x40 fuses gave it away for me as about 1200 real watts, but you are right, some people have no idea how much of a lie 8k is from this amp. Having said that, it did have your Savard Hi-Q's bumpin! 1200 watts for $140 isn't terrible, I just wish they were honest about it

Definitely agree the nob is cheap asf but I ordered the p8000 and the 7000 and honestly the 7000 pushes my Rockville’s 3 times as hard! Do a review on the 7k amp by audio bank there’s something hidden in it that produces an extreme output

Ok. Got to post this, he did a Dyno on a ignite r/1600 it did great so I bought one... I've got 2 SKAR SVR-12 D2 wired @.5 ohm and I've been hammering the heck out of the 12's and no protect, no shut off. Nothing. The ignite amps are awesome or at least the one I've got is.

On a serious note, I appreciate that you don't give these brands a pass simply for being a decent value at their *actual* power output. The deceptive marketing is infuriating and companies that participate in it deserve no praise what so ever. Honesty and integrity is far more important than being the best value.

Remember, IR temp method will always show a lower temp on brighter colored or reflective surfaces (like brushed aluminum). Actual is likely higher.

I saw this I thought the amp said audiobahn. I remember back in the day having a audiovox app and stereo and I also remember audiovox was made by Alpine and it actually outlasted my Alpine

It's very funny to see Audiobank now. 25 years ago in Korea, Audiobank was Korean Brand and known as cheap but not so bad.
Rockville Car Audio gives you the system on how to rate these mega amps. It is to divide its max rating by four, to get its max power output.
So as a complete amp noob I'm wondering, if we ignore the obvious lie claiming 8000 watts, is $145 good for an amp producing 1048 un-certified amps at 2 ohms?

They would sell less because these amps are targeted at stupid people who see that inflated number and think they're getting a serious amp. So funny, I had a JBL BP 150.1 on a DVC Orion XTR back in 1999 in a sealed hatch box in my little celica and it destroyed my friends huge boss amp with 2 power acoustic 12s and two other generic 12s. He couldn't believe my 75 watt x 1 amp and single 12 beat his huge amo and 4 12s.

I would love to see the incriminator audio IA30.1 ...... just because I'm thinking about buying 2 and can't can't find anything on incriminator audio amps that isn't over 3 years old lol. With that split force technology and the double poly and bulletproof whatnot, it be interesting to learn more about them other than what the manufacturer says. But their expensive and you spend your own money on these things....I won't hold my breath🤣 though it would be awesome!

Going to run this amp on 2 12" wired to 1 ohm rated at 600w RMS each. This amp is paired pretty nicely if I do say so myself.

I am confused about my amplifier (Kenwood KAC-9104D monoblock amp) because it has two 30 amp fuses. The RMS wattages specified from the manufacturer (500 watts RMS at 4 ohms and 900 watts RMS on either 2 ohms or 1 ohms) are on 14.4 volts and I know I am going to get 83.33333333% of the RMS wattage because my car battery is 12 volts. This means 416.66666665 watts RMS at 4 ohms, and 749.99999997 watts rms on either 2 ohms or 1 ohms. I am planning to buy two of either the Pioneer TS-W216M subwoofer (SVC 4 ohm 350 watts RMS) or the Pioneer TS-A25S4 (SVC 4 ohm 350 watts RMS) and use both of the amp's outputs (don't get confused thinking it is a 2-channel amp because there are two ouputs so you can connect 2 subs and internally they are wired in parallel) so I can get a 2 ohm load 749.99999997 watts rms from the amp and bring 374.999999985 to each 350 watt rms sub. Alright, so what confuses me is the 2 30 amp fuses. If you do 60 amps x 12 volts x assume 80 percent efficiency, you get 576 watts, what does this mean about the amp?
Well if that one fails to meet the specs you should test the 3000 audio bank on the dino cause I thing they srewed

You gave it a low rating because they lied about the wattage and specs, but all in all you never said how was the amp as far for the price, though it didn't put out eight thousand watts but still put out a considerable amount of Watts , so is the amp worth it for the less money that it's cost for budget-minded people with a smaller system?

I have an old Profile Clarus CL1200, nothing crazy powerful always worked well but it would be really cool to actually see what it was putting out, I got it before I was even old enough to drive, ya know build the system before you can drive or have a car, 14yo logic. Says 300x2 4ohm and 450x2 2ohm or 950 bridged, I kind of feel it may actually be doing that but would love to dyno it.

Problem with this amp mainly is the fact it probably overheats at 1ohm after driving for 30 minutes. Most of these cheap amps only do 1 ohm for short periods and they overheat.
