Pure Malt is darker and more of a night/winter scent, Havane I see as a much more wearable scent and is fairly versatile. Which is why it gets my recommendation.
Yeah, I just don't see the average person testing and buying $300 colognes too often. When I start my niche purchases they will be worth while. Thanks for the great feedback!

You're a great reviewer bro, the one thing I admire and respect about you and "Coach Rob" is that you guys mention fragrances that a person can actually go out and BUY! Some of these other reviewers I've watched mention hard to find fragrances that are $200-$300. Thanks for thinking of the average consumer. Peace!!
ive got 3 bottles of pure havane. its very hard to get in my country with only 2 dept stores selling it. i had to go easy on the spray as i did got chided by my colleague once at work. she said it smells too sweet (while she gave me that 'its-too-cloying" look).

Also with the Allure, do you think I should go with the Edition Blanche or the Sport. I thought they were based more on a spring summer, thought i saw the sport in the fall / winter lineup. Thanks
