Another great haul video. I really enjoy these. I’m interested in The Envy as Gucci Envy was one of my favs back in the day. I still have one bottle of it. I’d be curious to your thoughts in a full review. It would be nice to find a good replacement. This is the kind of instance where clones houses are useful. Bring back to life discontinued fragrances.
Really love your work! Can't wait to get my nose on some of these. I got the samples of both of those Creed fragrances and really didn't like Delphinus at first and the samples have now sat for a few weeks and Delphinus is great now (I think it had to do with the fruit molecules not fully coming together with the rest of the fragrance or something)🙂 . Interesting how fragrances can do that. Thanks for all of the info!
Triple aged Absolu aventus is what it should have been from the beginning🤷 The envy of fomo differs in the initial blast from the o.g. But it becomes very close in the dry down🔥🔥🔥
Great video. I bought Old Fashioned and was super disappointed. Not because it's bad, but because it couldn't live up to Single Malt. In terms of product, I feel like it goes in a different direction than Old Fashioned. I have not smelled anything else that you mentioned, but I do have the 2 Creeds in sample form waiting on my table, but iris-leather and standard tobacco aren't exactly inspiring my thoughts. I've recently gotten more interested in the new ones Arquiste has released, but outside of that, most product coming out has unfortunately sucked.

I remember smelling something from the 90s early 2000s but I can't think of the name. something like aventus cologne, givenchy cologne, boss bottled, ext. it was clear colonge, maybe eddie bauer pure, I know abercrombie had the market around 2004. some new style barbershop fragrance. what do you have?
Interested in the Lagerfeld, Mouboussin and Hugo Boss. I've heard that the new Code edp smell alot like the old Profumo, did you pick up on that? Also, have heard that the Guilty Essence is pretty much the Black rebooted. Used Perfuum for the first time a couple weeks ago, very happy with them. Will definitely use more. Hey Jim, yes the ones you mentioned are quite nice and in regards to the new code edp it's nice but very close to the og from 2004 and not quite as sweet as profumo which was really nice and sadly discontinued!
@MaxForti On the Code edp, the one they are calling Code edp 2024 is the one they are saying is alot like the profumo. They just re-did it last year too I think.
I have Mauboussin Histoire d'Eau- it's so good! Reminds me of Elixer des Merveilles a bit although it's different enough to own both, which I do. So knowing their interesting taste, I bet the one you spoke of is good too!
Creed Australia are already selling the Absolu Aventus re-release and it’s already been announced on the UK website. There’s no mention of a Triple Aged Batch either in the text or the product photos. I’ve asked Creed about this and they ignored the question. I’m going to ask again. On the US website however there is a photo of the box with the TAB sticker on it but no mention about it in the text yet. UPDATE I spoke to Creed UK today and they told me that although all of the re-release stock around the world is the same it’s only going to be marketed as Triple Aged Batch in the US.

Of course, that's because I live in New England (NY) where we get pretty much 8 months of cooler weather so heavier scents is where its at for me.. But I undressing for someone like yourself the freshies would workout better!

I agree on both - and yes, the envy by FOMO becomes very similar from the heart into the dry-down phase!

Of course, that's because I live in New England (NY) where we get pretty much 8 months of cooler weather so heavier scents is where its at for me.. But I undressing for someone like yourself the freshies would workout better!
