Nice tricks, one simpler and accurate way of doing the angles (instead of using the picture), you can edit the rotation on the position panel and just divide the number of section on one side by 180, here it is 5 sections, it will give you 36 (36, 72, 108,144). By this, you can aligned all shape, middle and then center, you have your perfect divisions.
Instead of using the Fragment option when creating the broken donut, is there a way to use Subtract instead while maintaining control over each section individually?
Are you asking this because you're using Powerpoint 2013? There is a way to do this, actually. I've put it in a Reddit post. www.reddit.com/r/consulting/comments/5j85x2/slide_cows_latest_powerpoint_tutorial_video/dbfeqfv/
Binge watching all of your videos - they're really great! Would love to see some videos showing some of your techniques for the animations/transitions used in the promo vids where you state "100% powerpoint used".
Maybe point out in the beginning of video that only works with PP 2013 or later...... Is there anyway to get the final version from someone who has created it since I am on 2010
Unfortunately, you will need, at least, the 2013 version to do this. My recommendation would be head on over to Office 365 and buy a plan to get the latest updates for all of your Microsoft Office software!
My Friend, 1st of all thanks for your amazing video it's really a moo zing :) I'm using Powerpoint 2010 and cannot find 'Merge shapes' option, how can I handle that? thanks in advance
Ismail Radwan Hello! Unfortunately I don't think there is a merge options label in 2010. I'm aware there's one for 2013 though. Would you consider buying a PowerPoint license and taking advantage of 2016?
I think its because the microphone is positioned weirdly so that I can use my mouse and keyboard. I think I need to find a way to hang it above my head or something. Sorry for the inconvenience!
Hi Daniel! Don't worry, all my other videos tend to have a much lower background noise. Thank you for your feedback! Be sure to sign up to our mailing list by clicking the first link on the description for more updates and exclusive content!
Hi Sukhomoy! Yes, you are correct the audio could be much better. I have implemented this in our later videos. Please be sure to subscribe and check out all of our guides!
As a safety consultant I deal with KPI and stats "as a whole", so this was so helpful and insightful
Nice play on the words, haha. We're glad you found this insightful!

Amazing! Such a creative solution! Thanks for sharing, this is very very useful!
Very useful video! Merging the shapes and fragmenting them was new to me, interesting stuff!
Thanks Inge! :D

Would it not be easier to use the 10 point star and convert it into 10 spikes by using the yellow dot and then center it and fragment the donut?
If that works for you, then go ahead and try it! I encourage everyone to try different styles.

Not sure if it's just me, but the audio on your videos is really soft

Really cool but it's too bad that the background ... music distract so much. Not necessary if you ask me! Sorry about that!
