I have owned Able reels since they were introduced currently have 11 and they work and look great . Side note left Heber City after fishing the Provo , jumped on the highway going to the flaming Gourge and saw something in my rear view mirror. It was the two rods I hade been fishing flying through the air off the roof of my Suburban . Long story short when this happens they landed on the reels and flat spotted both reels and did not break the rods . Called Able they said send them to them to see what could be done . A couple of weeks later I received them in the mail , they were able to straighten both of them although both still have the skid marks I’m still using them . My friends always tell me yeh there old school with the cork drag , heavy and expensive and I tell them yup but I have never had a failure , sealed drag reels not the same story . Thanks for the video
LOL at "OK, your Crappie fishing, the reel says saltwater fly". Definitely tell Brian to keep up the ab lib. It keeps me coming back. Even to the missed videos.
New to fly fishing, going to golden, CO to try it for the first time in sept. But I Live on the Louisiana Gulf Coast on the water and will do primarily saltwater fishing I guess for redfish and maybe cobia. It seems like there’s not a perfect rod and reel set up to do both of those, like I would need a four and a seven or eight set up to do both or could I get away with fishing for trout and redfish with like a six?
Tell Able to a sequence engraving of a fly fisher casting or fighting a fish so it's animated like with a cinescope. When you crank or spin it, the graphics move.
A friend just paid $20,000 for a side by side wheeler. I don’t think $1,050 is too bad at all compared to buying a 4-wheeler or a side by side. The reel will definitely last a lot longer than a wheeler will. Thanks, ordering one now!!

Thanks for watching.
🤣🤣🤣 I love the “wheel of flies” thing you added to it. Really made my day buddy.
Thanks for watching.
“Bust a deal, face the wheel!”
Good one. Thanks for watching.
You sorta kinda really just sold me on this reel that I absolutely positively do not need. Shit, didn’t even realize I was in the market for one.
Thanks for watching. Certainly true that you positively don't need this. Want is a different story!!!
Saw some of those reels years ago. Dave Halbloom was a friend snd fellow Benchrest shooter.
Thanks for watching.
Nice reel. Will add it to my dream list along with a hand made living art pole.
Thanks for being here.

Thanks for being here. Please give a call to the shop and they will be happy to chat and answer any and all of your questions! That's what they do.
Wild to me that a reel as expensive as Abel uses a cork drag instead of a greased carbon fiber disc
Old school but still works! Same like Tibor, Shilton and others. If it ain't broke, don't fix it!
Next life I'll be in a position to buy one❗🤭
Thanks for watching regardless. We'll be here when ready!

That’s good! Will follow up on that. Thanks for watching.
@@Madriveroutfitters Better than TV. You have to do something to make it happen.
Would love one some day.
Thanks for watching.

Totally agree Thanks.
Oh Man! I wasted my life flipping upside down rocks...
Yep, we all did.
Hahaha
Thanks for watching.
More farting. 😆
Stay tuned!
I own one of these and could do without the etching fly graphics…Christ! Just make a quality reel.
Pretty sure it's still a quality reel. You'll be fine and no need to involve religion.
Too expensive for me but to each his own. Ha y’all don’t light a match😂🫢
👍🤠
Thanks for watching.
