I haven't played with Toys since I was 10! I collect Toys at 66! I will leave my Collection to my Grandchildren! I'm too damn old to go clubbing! My late wife collected Barbies.

With the addition of Crystal I will be down to only 6 Customs. That's probably the most complete Team that Anyone has. My Justice League is 35 members with 8 Reserves. My Justice Society is 31 members. I am teaching them early that they have value.
I collect boxed skeletor toys. Reminds me of my youth. Couldn't care less about someone else negative thoughts about it. I enjoy talking with other collectors.

You are my kind of people, i've collected toys pretty much since i was in college. I've collected everything from WWE and Marvel Legends and now i'm collecting Transformers. Do what makes you happy and it doesn't matter what others say.
I'm pushing 60 and have achieved more in my life than probably 99% of people out there who look down on adults collecting toys. And when I play, I PLAY! My Marvel legends interact, talk to one another (I even use accents for Banshee, Colossus, Red Skull, etc) and the stories I play out are just as good as good if not better than classic stories written by Stan Lee. So I don't care what other people think.

I sold all my toys when I graduated college because I was embarrassed of them. It made me sad. Took two decades before I decided I didn’t give a damn anymore what people think and now I’ve been buying my collection back and collecting new things and it makes me so happy. 🥰

It's not just with collecting toys or reading comics. The same bullshit happens if you like cartoons, anime or video games. I once got called "incel" by some bloody karen of social media once because apparently I "read picture books for children" and play video games. In the end, I honestly don't give a flying fuck what anyone thinks. Yeah, I'm an adult and I got adult responsibilities, even a job but I can still have fun doing something that I enjoy, whether it's collecting toys, comics, manga or watching anime and cartoons. Heck even if it's just going to comic cons. I also don't let anyone decide or tell me how I should live my life.
Those same karens will also often be huge Disney fans with loads of trashy merchandise. As far as I'm concerned they can kick dust, being called an "incel" is like a badge of honor at this point. It means you pissed an insufferable little commune-ist off.

I am a collector of figures and people that talk like that about being a collector. What the hell are they doing? These figures are collected grew up watching Saturday morning. I don’t sit there and play with them, but I do like to display them and put them on shelf to look at and remember the good old days, and Saturday mornings getting up watching cartoons so the people that criticize us for having a simple hobby like this collecting and displaying I don’t know what to say. They don’t have an imagination I guess and they didn’t grow up during the good old days. Keep doing what you doing uncle Tim 👌🏾✌🏾👍🏾

I personally don’t tell people my hobbies that I don’t want people to know like collecting figures I will say I collect and play video games and build gundam model kits stuff like that but in person to someone I don’t relate to I don’t mention figure collecting it’s too personal for me to give out that information plus I’m a introverted people I talked to people here and there but when I’m online I don’t mind doing that because it’s what my channel is partially about know what I mean
I have that Shao Kahn, Total Khan, Gargoyle, and Skeletor, all great figures. And ya screw people that judge you for collecting action figures. It's a shame that they arent realizing how awesome action figures are.
I think as long long a people does their responsibilities they should do whatever they find fun. Rather It's toys , video games , music , cars and more. Cool video. ^_^

There is a community of ppl usually in their 50s, 60s and up that collect spinners/tops but they are like $500 plus each, lots of knife collectors collect those tops that spin, they are small and made of metal. I wanted one but they are 500 or more lol

40 hear, I got 3 tables and Masters of the Universe (everything, Origins, Classics, 200x, Masterverse, Minis) are battling on it if not DC Universe, Marvel Legends, GI Joe both sizes, Transformers. Hell even Godzilla, Kong and self 3d printed E-Frames battle it out at times. It's just imagining action movies with toys, been doing it forever. Yes it's a hobby very little adults have but it's my hobby. I'm not for vacation outdoors, sports etc. sorry it's Toys, video games and movies/series for me. And being creative, that's my jazz. It's rare, might be a little less rare if there wasn't such a stigma on it. I know there are some dudes and chicks out there who would actually love to just sit down at a table and play with toys, but they won't because in their head and their social group they will be looked down on. But at toy conventions I see way more adults than teenagers, I rarely see teenagers on their own buying Turtles and He-Man, it's only adults 30+. So there is a large group of toy collectors and toy players out there.
I work my ass off at my job.. and a single dad...if i want to relax on the couch watching pulp fiction playing around with the hulk and an owlbear while eating cereal as dinner is cooking and my kids doing her homework... THEN TELL ME HOW IM NOT AN ADULT?
