I know I haven’t been commenting lately, but I am still around. Losing both of my parents in less than six months has been hard. Now my brothers and I are trying to clean out their house and settle their estate. On top of all that, my grandson is dealing with the Lyme Disease, and he isn’t able to do my mowing. I’m not supposed to be on a mower anymore since my back surgery, but I really don’t have a choice. I mow close to three acres and have all the trimming to do as well. Hoping things get back to normal soon. Lemon pound cake was my husband’s favorite. No Starbucks around me. Just corn and soybean fields. Take care. ❤ Susie

Hey Glenda those lemon cakes at Starbucks can be found at Walmart in the bakery department. At least they have it where I live. Made by the same place Starbucks gets theirs from only cheaper. Love those too. Now I’ve got Togo to Walmart in the morning & get one!

Splenda was causing my liver enzymes to be high. I quit using it. I use honey even in coffee. If I were you I would try to stop using it. I bought nescafe instant for ice coffee and it is so good you can buy the caramel syrups they have for coffee to put in it and ice and milk so good. Try it you will love it.
1am just finished my workday (early LOL though I earned $280 today) drinking hot cocoa on my balcony before I go relax in an Epsom salt bath... my back is killing me 😂

In Washington state where I lived there were Starbucks almost on every corner. Seriously. Everywhere you looked Starbucks. That was in the 1990’s when my ex husband was in the military. I don’t know if there are still that many or not these days. I used to stop and get my Starbucks quite often. I love them but don’t buy Starbucks any more. No Starbucks remotely close by. They’re not popular where I live. ❤❤

Make us a lemon pound cake, Glenda. I have a great recipe for plain (vanilla) pound cake that is so good. It has buttermilk and uses both butter and Crisco. I have to admit that I will make it and then eat the whole thing by myself (not all at once!). I will sometimes freeze individual slices to keep myself from wolfing it down in just a few days. [Gosh, Glenda, racking my brain for the mobile-home-dwelling creator whom you mention. But, honestly, there are many creators who (in my opinion) are devoid of any personality and do not emote!] But that is certainly not you!
Hey Glenda. Yes, it has been absolutely bizarre the suggested videos coming through from TH-cam. Terribly weird and disconnected really. I only tolerate it for so long and then I start telling them don't ever recommend this to me again which seems to help. if I don't do that, I tend to get more and more of that type of channel. I 💯 percent know whose channel you are speaking about! I use to watch her and I don’t see any joy in her. It’s sad and believe me the struggle is real today! The food prices are through the roof and with this heat my electric bill is $600 and I haven’t a clue how I will pay it but believe me I am so blessed. Starbucks is too expensive for my pockets. Their coffee is very good and if I had more money I might be tempted to go there but as it is I never go. I've never really tried iced coffee. I don't drink much coffee at all anymore. I have a Keurig machine but never use it. I probably should throw it out because there's probably slimy water in the tank from not being used in months.

U can clean your keurig with vinegar. It will de-scale all the hard water and crud.
