Leaving the gap by the cuticle than filing it in absolute genius! Thank you for that tip. I'm just learning how to do my own nails and I've been having thr hardest time near the cuticle.
Great video! You can also put a form under your nail before adhering the tip. That keeps the gel from touching your skin at the tip of your natural nail.
Liz, please don’t apologise for having real hands with real skin issues such as dry skin. It helps a lot to know that even nail techs have human hands.❤️

Omg!!!! I will always use the lazy girl method with full cover gel nails.. I don’t want to play around with acrylic or poly gel ever again !!! You can fill them, you can soak them off in less than 15 min. I practice different design techniques and that’s it… I love it !!! Everyone always ask where I got my nails done 🤣🤣🤣
About C curves, many of us have flat nail beds. Mine are, apparently, quite flat. When techs would put tips on me or would pinch my acrylics, it would hurt for a couple of days. Do you put a few layers of builder on your nails by themselves and build up the curve before applying the tip? I have super flat nail beds and am learning how to do overlay but using tips in the meantime to help with my skin picking and grow my nails a bit and I struggle finding any time that sits well because of the flatness :(
@@nighteyesivhey! did you ever figure out your problem? I have pretty flat nail beds with my ring fingers being an exception lol. I wasn't planning on using full coverage tips but rather just start doing free forms, but I learned SO MUCH about nail tips from this video it's crazy. Thank you so much for your knowledge ♡
I absolutely love how thorough you are with your instructions, I'm using full tips and the dip powder system and this helps so so so much. Ty so much for your tips.
Hmmm I use a gel base coat on the under side full cover tip so that i have extra stickiness lol I normally clean under my nails daily with alcohol pads anyway but this helps them lady a month
This is a great video. I've been doing builder gel overlays for about a year and wanted to venture off with full cover tips to play around with clear tip designs. I've done full cover tips twice now and have been really bothered by the cuticle transition. I have a gap where my hair gets caught at the cuticle line and when I add my builder gel on top its way too bulky so I end up over filing the builder gel and eventually find my full cover tip edge that isn't seemless. This "hack" you just showed where you place it slightly up the nail plate so encapsulation makes a seemless transition is GENIUS! I will definatly need to try this next time!!

My last set of nails I did have soooo much knowledge in them.I learn so many things from every video I watch. And you’re so good at presenting that I can watch your videos more than once. Thank you for mentioning that if you do a coat of base gel, not only does it increase adhesion and fill space, it allows for the odd bubble that can happen when applying these on yourself. You cannot get fungus when your natural nail is completely covered by cured product. People obsess about bubbles for this type of enhancement for that reason, but it's easily solved, as you've demonstrated here.
I like your tip of applying the tip a little away from the cuticle and applying gel base coat to get rid of the pesky little lip. That is the only downside of these extensions in my opinion. Now you’ve just solved it. Thank you!
You just GO OFF Liz! 🤩 Intelligent, thorough, thoughtful & super cute! The nail struggle was oh too real before I found you! 💯 You're my new nail hero! 🏆 THANK YOU!! 💕
Interesting .. I prep the inside of the full cover tip with gel base coat and cure it before applying with builder gel. this makes them last a month for me. Saw another TH-camr do it
That whole cuticle edge tip was brilliant! In all the videos out there now, not one person mentions/is doing this! It's a complete forehead slap that more professionals like yourself haven't thought of this. Good for you and thank you so very much for helping all of us at home become better at self care 😊 ❤️
I have been watching your videos for a while now and I have been using full coverage tips on myself because I have ski jump nails and didn't know how to address it with forms. I found your forms video about a week ago and I ordered some thick builder gel to try and learn how to sculpt extensions on myself. I can't wait until these full coverage extensions grow out a little bit so I can try to do forms as my next set. Thank you for teaching us you are amazing!
I do this type of extensions at my salon. I honestly don’t like it 🤭 It’s really nice that I can do a nail extension service REALLY quick tho. But as Liz mentioned I don’t like how the gel sips out under the nail and soaking off products are not my gem. Moreover I saw so many newly graduated nail techs only do this type of extensions and never learn acrylics or hard gel nail sculpture! I truly feel they should learn how to do them. Then they will know all the nail shape and nail fundamentals more seriously. 😩 As always great video!
probably bad application tbh i do it myself and it never sips from underside and i use no wipe gel under to prevent getting dirty after awhile it really works well just depends on application
I know these have been around a while but I don't care who manufactured the full cover tips, they are in my opinion, not something I would offer as a professional licensed tech in the salon. Sure as a press on sale item but as a service, they aren't professional quality services. They are more of a do it at home nail and I think they should stay that way, at the home. Anyone can apply press on nails. Be it with glue, gel, polygel, acrylic, there is absolutely no skill required and I have skill I refuse to waste.
Great information! I’m new to jelly tips! I never thought to set the tip as you did, then covering with gel to make it seamless. I’ve been buffing/blending my tip and I’m going to try your method today! Thank you. 😊
I learned so much from this video, that you for teaching. Also i love that you showed all imperfections under it too cuz if i didnt see that i would still think that did my nails incorectly rather then knowing its normal to have some little problems.
I used the gelips when they first came out for my non dominant hand but it was kinda complicated to hold the tip and cure. I did get the mini cake lamp today in the mail and I loved it way more than I thought I would. It made gel on toes really easy. I use my old boxes of gelips for nail art displays now. Even tho it still takes me forever I still perfer to sculpt all my nails.
13:00 OMG thank you for saying this! I keep getting this issue and was feeling really stupid and like I shouldn’t even bother since my nails are an incompatible shape! Nice to know it’s just a matter of learning to fill the gap!
I agree that Apres makes the best tips. Even though my nails are flat, the sculpted look so beautiful and just like I got a full set in the salon and stay on very well. They’re so much stronger than the Kiara Sky tips I tried.
I been using full coverage Kierasky for bit over a year now and I love them, they last so long and I can fill them without problems. I find it helpful to carefully file out the under nail if product comes out and top coat the inside.
I learned a lot as usual with u. U had solutions to all my problems with full cover tips. I didn’t like the free edge look at the end with the top coat but someone else might’ve. Ur amazing! 😘
I found that using these full coverage tips allows me to do my nails very quickly without sculpting. Traditional tips are made of ABS while gel tips are made of resin. There are slight differences between the two and their application.
Great video Liz. As far as the lamp goes, I bought a phone holder from Amazon and a portable nail lamp. The phone holder holds the portable lamp so I’m able the flash cure my nails no problem. Your right practice makes perfect and it’s important to know how to build a nail with a form however when it comes to working on my self theses are so much faster😂😂🤣🤣.
Thank you for sharing your knowledge. I have used full cover nails for a few years and never thought to place the nail further back and fill space with gel. As my nails grow out, I always get hair strands caught in the base. This will be a huge game changer. Sooo excited to try it. 👍
Yes! The lamp holder is super cool. I have a full sized lamp that the bottom plate comes off, so I flip my lamp upside down and it senses my hands when I flash cure. Then I flip it over to fully cure the whole hand.
I use these after seeing them on your channel before. The only thing I don’t like is the “short” is NOT short and I have to cut them and re-shape them and then the c-curve looks kind of wonky (I use almond-I think they have the best almond shape). I’ve seen another person who’s like certified in Kokoist products or whatever and she said that they’re actually meant to be built on top of (I use Jimmy Gel) and also Kokoist says you can backfill these (I don’t since I’m still pretty new and more focused on application and shaping). Also I put mine on with clear polygel so I don’t have to mess with moving gel.
I would advise you to ditch these, since you already like short nails (I do too), and just build a slight apex with a builder in a bottle or something. Basically just paint the gel like you would regular polish and turn ur hand upside down for gravity to adjust the thickness of the gel. Im not a nail tech, just do them for myself at home and they look really good after just a couple of days of practice. I personally found the full cover tips looking too messy around the cuticles compared to a regular hand painted gel. Then you try correcting the mistakes and end up doing the nails even longer compared to good old painting.
On Etsy there's extra short false nails for sell but they only sell it in round and square shape. 🥺 Although it's kinda more pricier than regular and long false nails.
I just use full coverage nail tips as I would with partial coverage nail tips. Then I apply a little acetone on the cuticle edge to soften the plastic and file that edge to blend with the natural nail. I'm not sure if you are supposed to do this with full coverage tips, but it works for me.
This is brilliant! Have you tried using builder gel over top? I find that the soft gel tips are too bendy and not strong enough for all the rough stuff I do.
You totally can, I just hate that i have to file more to even out the shape as builder gel doesn't self level as nicely as hard gels. It still kinda self levels but I have to apply then cure quickly or it will flood my cuticles.
That's the same as what annoys me about full cover "gel" tips too is the underside which makes me constantly scrub my nails to the point that they don't last as long as they should. Great video, very informative with many tips that will help me so much. thank you. 🙏🏴🌹 Edit :I used "INPING Gel full cover tips" which you can get half square and half Almond shape or other selection, they are pre etched and they have a nice C curve with 12 sizes on Amazon and are very affordable. I also got a clip on uv lamp from Amazon which has a plug with a long lead and has a little switch which is really easy (not stiff) to flick on & off & was very affordable also and are great for curing tips on. ✌️
There is a difference between gel tips and regular plastic tips besides the etching on the under side. 1. When you bend a gel tip it gets that white line but when you unbend it it goes away. 2. When you do the same with regular plastic tips the white line stays there and the nail may even break in half. 3. The gel tips are more flexible i.e. If you have a flat nail bed with thin flexible nails like me this comes in handy when attaching the nail. 4. Both gel tips and plastic desolve in acetone but there's a difference in the way each desolves. I use both but there is definitely a difference
I am so glad you made this video! I used the full cover tips (not Kokoist)for the first time a few days ago on my daughters for Halloween nails because I was short on time and wanted to focus more on the nail art. I was so frustrated putting those things on because I had the issues with the gel coming out past the natural nail and the gap between the natural/fake nails when I did get the gel flush so it's nice to know that's normal and I wasn't doing anything wrong. And let me tell you I would've killed for that lamp holder! I tried the egg shaped lamp with the cutout to slide the finger in but that seemed to be better suited for doing your own nails. So I ended up just having my daughter hold the little light over the nail to flash cure it as soon as I had it positioned. And I was really inspected the nail tips trying to figure out why they were calling them gel lol! So thank you for explaining that also. I think those kits are great for a short-term set or when you're in a pinch but as long as I'm able I definitely prefer to just sculpt the nails myself. Thanks for another great video!
Would putting a form underneath the nail before applying the gel and tip be a good method to avoid getting uncured gel on your skin from potential overspill? And would you be able to remove it easily afterwards?
Thank you a really helpful video and some amazing help. I always watch your videos I find them so different from a lot of TH-cam channels and always the education is without doubt one of the best x ❤️🇬🇧
I've been wanting to see your take on these for a while now! Excellent tips and pointers as expected! I will definitely try that Kokoist base gel! Regarding how flat these can look, my favorite tips are the sculpted ones from Apres. Specifically, for the deep c curve and pinxhed tips. I am not a tech and only apply these on myself. It's not as simple as it looks and takes some practice. Personally, I'd never go to the salon to have these done! I'd want sculpted acrylics or hard gel. You're my fav too Liz! Also, using the Kokoist base gel, you didn't need to buff off the shine from the natural nail! One of the differences when using a Japanese gel! I know the ingredients are superior in Japanese Gels compared to the regular gels used out there. Will you go over that please? I feel like it'd be less damaging to use since you don't need to buff the nail! ♥️
Thanks for this! I just tried these for the first time this month, and love them. I am an intermediate level DIYer with poor dexterity in my non-dominant hand, and they were a perfect fit for my current skill level. I did have a few complaints, but you had tips for addressing each one! My only remaining issue is that they don’t come short enough for me. I have extremely short nail beds, and typing speed matters a lot for my job, so even the shortest “extra short” size I could find is at the very top of my everyday wear range. (It’s not just a practice issue - I get nail bed pain from the impact when they are longer.) I guess I’m going to have to keep practicing my shaping skills, so… learning opportunity? I love the idea of using them as press-ons. I might do that for my cousins wedding this summer. Do you have a recommended method for adhering them that would be reusable? I would love to make a fabulous set and wear them for special occasions. (Apologies if you already covered that in a video - I didn’t find one when I searched.)
Finally! Someone said my same thoughts. 🥰 I've always thought that these "gel" tips are almost exactly the same as the ABS tips we buy from Amazon or Aliexpress. The removal is the same as well. I think the "gel tips" name is just a marketing strategy like the "healthy dip nails" or "vitamin-infused". 😅
I don’t agree with what she said. Saying that they’re all the same is such an ignorant thing to say. Obviously they’re both plastic, but plastics have different chemical compositions and physical properties. The “gel” tips melt off with acetone while the others don’t. Press on nails are plastic too and they don’t melt off with acetone. If you go by what she’s saying then why can’t we melt off other plastic things in our household with acetone? Like fans, tvs, phone cases, etc. because not all plastic is the same, that’s why. She literally said they’re all the same kind of plastic which is not correct. They fall under the same umbrella but the compositions are different. This is also why plastics when you buy food have different numbers to say what kind they are and see which ones are recyclable because not all of them are even though yes, they’re all plastic
@@nikholelucas7159 yes ABS tips can soak off with acetone, but they take a whole lot longer than "gel tips". Personally I use both ABS tips and gel tips and I like them both but they do behave slightly differently during takedown.
@@ndawi-9947 I agree. My gel tips don't smell the same as my cheap plastic ones. Especially when using the e-file. Filing my apres doesn't give that same plastic scent and they last much longer and are in better shape after 2-3 weeks.
When white lines appear, when plastics are folded, it is known as 'crazing' the plastic chains of molecules get pulled into a regular crystal, rather than being random/amorphous
Loved, loved, loved this video. Thank you so much. I learned why I was getting air bubbles and how not to get them. I noticed you didn’t use a nail dehydrator. Is it not needed?
@thenailhub I have been watching your videos for a while now and think you do so well at teaching even me who isnt a nail tech feels like I can try the techniques you show. Please could you do some videos on Rubber Gel Nails -The base and top coats are so much thicker I would love to know how to work with them for my easily broken natural nails!xxx
I followed this video to a T, and after I finished my set, the nails began popping off. All of them. So bummed! I used a base coat... but not the mega stick you used. I've been seeing nail glue gels on social media... are these that much different than base gel? I guess I assumed my regular builder gel would suffice. Instead, it's almost like it was treating it like a nail form. Any advice? Thank you, love your channel!!
I saw another TH-camr use liquid latex cuticle protector (doesn't have to be actual latex) to put on bare skin. Usually the liquid latex protects cuticle area for nail art like stamping. I can be used on finger tips to prevent other products from sticking. Good for nail biters . When the gel cures the liquid latex an be peeled away and the product doesn't stick to it nor the skin.. It does take a little trial and error to get the right products. You also need to let the liquid latex dry throughly before you use gels. I think Liquid Latex is an actual brand. There are others some have actual latex others don't. You can also clean excess gel from under the tips to prevent it from curing under the nail.
Liquid Latex or similar product can be a good fail safe, but in general the application should be perfected to avoid skin contact as monomers can leach through latex gloves, protectors, etc.
@@TheNailHub you are correct. A back up doesn't hurt though. Some nails are naturally-unnaturally awkward and more difficult to work with. Good techniques are always the first line of defense.
New subscriber. I’m learning how to do my own nails using a variety of methods. I have nail health issues and I just purchased these full extensions…so your tips are so valuable to me! This was the most informative video I’ve watched thus far. Thank you so much!!
I'm considering trying full cover tips after having done acrylics and gels both with forms or just tips and my natural nails were just destroyed after removal. Thinking this might be easier to remove and less harmful to nail? Thoughts?
So glad to see ur back! I wanted to ask u if u have ever tried the 3D weave technique on nails? I watched a video on it and she used light elegance buttercream so I bought some from nail hub. I’ve heard a lot of great things about them..But do you think I could use regular gels or a more pigmented gel? Ty for ur videos! ❤️
Thank you for sharing! This was very informative! In South Africa we are a bit behind! My Mom use to wear full nails in the 60’s, then somehow they became unpopular! I just love your videos! 💞💅🏼🥰
Hi Liz, so I had to pause the video at the part where your talking about the full cover tips not having a C curve. I bought a Modelones Polygel kit and then bought some Modelones full cover coffin tips and they have a nice curve to them. Not a full C curve but but more like a soft C curve, if that makes sense. I've been using them for 3 months and really like them.
I have Saviland nail extensions long coffin full coverage tips and they have a deep c curve. There are a few other brands I've seen that do. Most don['t true but there are c curve tips out there. Also, the material used is not ABS but PMMA. They are flexible, no not leave a white line when bent, thin at the cuticle and thicker at the tip.
PMMA is also plastic. Poly methyl methacrylate. Same MMA as found in acrylic monomers but just polymerized. So that’s why I hate when companies say their tips are made of gel. Gel is plastic in unpolymerized form. And lots of these tip brands are in fact ABS. Just wish people knew the truth instead of getting sucked into marketing. Nothing wrong with these tips but the kool laid drinking is what gets me frustrated. Better to know what things are and make educated choices.
Thank you for the info. I used to use full cover nail tips years ago and they were definitely ABS. Hard and easily cracked. The PMMA ones are at least very flexible. They do easily melt off with acetone and I like using them. I do agree with you about disliking false representation. Especially when it involves food! It is so hard to know what to believe anymore. akkk
hello, liz. i learned a lot from your videos. one question though? the primer you used here is not available in my country. i wonder if any non-acid nail primer (for gels) is okay to be applied on the nail tips. looking forward to your response.
I'm experimenting with pre-etched full cover tips before I use on my clients but they're unreliable on plastic nails, regardless of prep (nothing sticks like it does to a real nail plate as you know!). I'm worried that the etching isn't as "roughed up" as I can achieve with my large ball bit, but I'd also like to save some time in my nail service. Do they work for you and if so, how long does a set last for your clients? I otherwise love this method, including leaving the gap at the cuticle and filling with gel for a very smooth transition, and use it as my primary extension service.
Thank you for sharing Liz I truly appreciate it. I use Light elegance products, do you have a video using the full cover tips with Light elegance. would love to see that. I can only use HEMA free products. Thank you so much you always do a great job explaining every detail. 💕
Hey Liz, can you please do a video re: how do to repair a side crack discovered after the manicure is done? Is there a way to “kind of” fix it until the next fill? It’s the kind of crack that gets worse when you wash your hair and the hair gets caught in it and continues to split across the nail.
I've been using the Kokoist platinum duo as my base and to attach/build the nail. I didn't know you could just paint right on top of the shiny extention surface. 🤔
I bought full coverage tips and they all fit great except the thumb nail. Is there a way to still use them? The thumb size is just slightly too small on the sides.
You remind me of my godmother in the way you speak and the way you are really confident in what you are presenting. Plus you look like her haha! Weird but blessed, you teach me how to do dope nails.
I love this video and how close you get when choosing your size and prepping the gelip!! I'm having a hard time with these in relation to the side walls. They always seem so bulky on clients and they grow out looking super weird. The cuticle area looks good as I use the same method you do, it's just the sidewalls. Am I sizing too big? Or could I thin out the sidewalls before applying?
Hi Jordan, it might be a combination of the tip being one size too big as well as needing to thin out the side walls. But also keeping it further away from the cuticle area and filling in that space with gel definitely helps with the overall look. I still prefer extending with forms and creating the nail shape, but these are very convenient.
Another great video. One question. I recently tried (twice now) doing my own “press on” nails at home. The nails fit perfectly before I paint them but it seems that once I cure them the nails shrink and don’t fit properly, especially along the side walls. I’ve been painting them off my nail. Do you think that if I adhere them first, and then paint It will help? I’m using adhesive strips at this point, not gel or glue because I’m still in testing mode. I wanted to paint off the nail because it gives me more leeway to do nail art easier.
So proud that my nails finally look nice, thanks to all your help! You have answers to all my questions.❤️

I like your tip of applying the tip a little away from the cuticle and applying gel base coat to get rid of the pesky little lip. That is the only downside of these extensions in my opinion. Now you’ve just solved it. Thank you!
Does she use base coat or the glue base?
@@barbarastockler1 base coat gel
You just GO OFF Liz! 🤩 Intelligent, thorough, thoughtful & super cute! The nail struggle was oh too real before I found you! 💯 You're my new nail hero! 🏆 THANK YOU!! 💕
Interesting .. I prep the inside of the full cover tip with gel base coat and cure it before applying with builder gel. this makes them last a month for me. Saw another TH-camr do it
Ohh, smart!
How long did you cure it? Did you file as well?
That whole cuticle edge tip was brilliant! In all the videos out there now, not one person mentions/is doing this! It's a complete forehead slap that more professionals like yourself haven't thought of this. Good for you and thank you so very much for helping all of us at home become better at self care 😊 ❤️
I'm a self-taught at home nail enthusiast. Love that I found your channel 💕
Thank you for teaching us you are amazing!
love that you explain why the cured base coat is helpful for protecting the natural nail!
These type of nails are also very easy to come off, therefore, lifts quite easily as well, as I've find after we did test sets at our salon.
@@kiizutsuita yeah and I also found out the shape or size of tips don’t fit to every nails so that’s another thing that I don’t like
Great information!
You need to try the Apres sculpted tips if you want a high apex and strong c curve. That’s the only system I use because of there tips.
I agree that Apres makes the best tips. Even though my nails are flat, the sculpted look so beautiful and just like I got a full set in the salon and stay on very well. They’re so much stronger than the Kiara Sky tips I tried.
@@HolisticLeah yeah I’ve tried kiara sky and enail couture and the tips don’t compare.
@@julissabido Agreed. They last longer, look better, have a beautiful shape, and don't stink when I file them down.
Thank you for really taking the time to explain! You are a great teacher. 😊
This video was so helpful! Thank you for all the amazing tips & tricks 🥰
I been using full coverage Kierasky for bit over a year now and I love them, they last so long and I can fill them without problems. I find it helpful to carefully file out the under nail if product comes out and top coat the inside.
How do you fill in?
That is a good idea! Thank you!
@@Anon_E_Muss your very welcome. It works great.
Loved this! Recently got some full cover tips to try because I could NOT keep sculpting my non-dominant hand... I ran out of patience!
Thank you for the indepth tutorial 😊
I love your teaching Liz, you explain things so well. Thanks for this tutorial.
You are so welcome!
Thank you for making very good videos. You explain thing really good. I am a beginner and need a lot of help and you make it clear and simple.
I love the tip about letting out the tip a bit and filling - genius! It probably gives extra stability as well.
Be careful with flipping your lamp as you don't want your eyes exposed to the light being emitted.
Oh yeah and Kokoist instructions say to leave space at the cuticle just like you do.
You’re such an expert in these things. It’s definitely my go to channel for gel. Tsmfs
You have answered all my questions, about full coverage nail extension... Thank you so much.🤗😊
I just use full coverage nail tips as I would with partial coverage nail tips.
Very clear and easy to understand directions! I am anxiously waiting for my lamp to arrive :)
That's the same as what annoys me about full cover "gel" tips too is the underside which makes me constantly scrub my nails to the point that they don't last as long as they should. Great video, very informative with many tips that will help me so much. thank you. 🙏🏴🌹
Edit :I used "INPING Gel full cover tips" which you can get half square and half Almond shape or other selection, they are pre etched and they have a nice C curve with 12 sizes on Amazon and are very affordable.
I just found you and I have watched so many of your videos. I'm going to use this technique for my nails.
Hello I'm so excited that I can do my nails differently now and appreciate your way of application, Thank you
Ive found that with the gellips is still like to etch the inside. Ive tried without etching and found that they didnt last as long.
Would putting a form underneath the nail before applying the gel and tip be a good method to avoid getting uncured gel on your skin from potential overspill? And would you be able to remove it easily afterwards?
Agree all plastic, Adhered with gel makes the “Gel” tips. Great info ! 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻
For reusability I definitely recommend old-school press on tabs like the double sided sticky little tabs that are commonly used.
I think it's a great extension service for young wearers (12-18), who come in asking for acrylic nails that they can't keep up with without damage.
Exactly. It feels dishonest to say ‘gel tips and vitamins infused’. It makes me super uncomfortable.
@@Lucky9436 the abs tips melts of in acetone. Similarly how the gel tips does.
This was a great video! You explained it so well. What happens if you touch the product with your hands, or have a lot of gel underneath?
Love the idea full tip NOT all the way to cuticle....for smoother transition when it grows out. Will do!
Thank you for a very detailed video, you are awesome!!!
By the way…I’m in Redmond!
Amazing video thank you……. Did you adhere the full coverage nail to the nail with just base coat or did I miss a step? Xx
I'm considering trying full cover tips after having done acrylics and gels both with forms or just tips and my natural nails were just destroyed after removal. Thinking this might be easier to remove and less harmful to nail? Thoughts?
Thank you for the close ups!!! Super helpful for me !!!!
I haven’t tried that yet but would love to check it out. Tag me if you have an example! 😍
Thank you for sharing! This was very informative! In South Africa we are a bit behind! My Mom use to wear full nails in the 60’s, then somehow they became unpopular! I just love your videos! 💞💅🏼🥰
Paula Koncki these tips are everywhere in South Africa (you can even get the gel tips at the Chinese shops I've been using them for 2 years now
✨💖✨ thank you so much for sharing 🙏 your tips are so helpful for me
Your chocolate candy nails look delicious! 😋 Thanks for the video! 👍
Thank you for sharing this information about the product.
you always have some new and useful tips
thanks 😁😁
Hi Liz, so I had to pause the video at the part where your talking about the full cover tips not having a C curve. I bought a Modelones Polygel kit and then bought some Modelones full cover coffin tips and they have a nice curve to them. Not a full C curve but but more like a soft C curve, if that makes sense. I've been using them for 3 months and really like them.
So much information! Instant sub, really glad I found your channel!
Yes non-acid is good or you can even prep the inside of the tip with a bit of acetone. It will help etch the plastic.
Not yet! But you could use any of the hard gels or jimmygel. I recommend applying Tack to the tip.
Such good info! Do you not feel the need to level the edges of the full cover nail a little bit (sides and closer to cuticle) with a file? Thanks!!
Can you do a video on polygel please? Pros, cons and how to do them?
This was an A++++ vid. Well done! And thank you!
I think it depends on the color you are using. I have found that Kokoist colors adhere really well. But another product might require buffing first.
Can I use nail glue instead of base coat and if so do I put base coat on natural nail first? Thank you!
Great video! Learned so much! Thank you!
I bought full coverage tips and they all fit great except the thumb nail. Is there a way to still use them? The thumb size is just slightly too small on the sides.
Thank you for clearing that up. I get so confused
You remind me of my godmother in the way you speak and the way you are really confident in what you are presenting. Plus you look like her haha! Weird but blessed, you teach me how to do dope nails.
You can put whatever system you want on top of the full tips be it acrylic, acrygel polygel
Anyone else not trust the pre-etching on the tips? I still always buff them out. Elizabeth what do you think?
Hello just wondering what's the product of your glittered nails in the video? Looks so pretty. Is it available on your website?
Another great video. One question. I recently tried (twice now) doing my own “press on” nails at home. The nails fit perfectly before I paint them but it seems that once I cure them the nails shrink and don’t fit properly, especially along the side walls. I’ve been painting them off my nail. Do you think that if I adhere them first, and then paint It will help? I’m using adhesive strips at this point, not gel or glue because I’m still in testing mode. I wanted to paint off the nail because it gives me more leeway to do nail art easier.
Thank you! This is the best!!
Excellent tips!
