Ignition coil/distributor. My 98 & 99 CRV had the same crank/no start issue both were around 220k - 235k when it happened. Then later the 99 had a stalling issue due to catalytic converter age, and then the 98 stalled due to ignition switch issue. Both have and still run great otherwise. Good luck.
Hello. I took my 2000 CR-V to Honda and it was the crank sensor. They were getting no signal and no spark. It had them confused as well. Prior to this happening the car was running fine. Then one morning I got in it. I started it up and it ran for 8-10 seconds and then died and would not start again. Hope this helps.
Crank send most likely...you may have to reset your ECU also unplug the battery let it sit for a while then replug it crank sensors rarely will throw a code..
My CR-V decided not to start the other day. It would turn over. Called out a mobile mechanic and it turned out to be a fuel cut off switch that was behind the centre consul on passenger side. So if it happens again, now I know.

check your ignition switch also once you get the car running jiggle your key and if it cuts out then you need to replace your ignition switch
Have you done checking the Fuel pump relay and Fuel pump motor and Fuel pump pressure sensor? Try testing those...
Seems like you need an ignition switch. There was/is a recall on those. Get your VIN# and call Honda

My '98 CRV decided to not restart as well. Is your CRV US or European? I was told the US models don't have a fuel cut off switch.
It could be that your timing belt slipped.
