Last year, I was going to purchase a pre-need columbarium niche, but the poor stock market put me in a financial bind. So I had to put that plan on the shelf. Happy New Year!!

Location, location, location just like in real estate property. That place has a lot of niches. I wonder what the capacity is. There is one impressive mausoleum video on Lakewood Garden Mausoleum by HGA Architects and Engineers located at Minneapolis on TH-cam you'll have to watch. A whole complete change in architectural design from 1920.

There's something about a columbarium and niches that I find fascinating! The architecture and pure age of the place is just awesome! I can see why the only the 1st and 4th floors were completed. It'll be interesting to see the middle two. Good video!

Thanks for showing us ,nothing like this where I live in Tasmania Australia, not sure if there's anything even in Australia, in the last few years in our local cemetery they have put in a mausoleum I guess it is to hold 9 , 2 have been used so far ,look gmfoward to seeing it all finished

I don't understand how there are 4 floors in this place, it doesn't look tall enough. Also that photo of the abandoned section looks like it runs from the ground floor to the top. Looking forward to seeing it completed
My thoughts exactly. That black and white picture was from the Cypress Lawn heritage society website I do believe ..that almost doesn’t seem like it should all be in that building like that, so yes, I’m interested to see how this is going to turn out as well.
@@CryptDoor Ok so I looked at the building in 3D on google earth, I think that atrium runs over floors 2 and 3 and the 4th floor is wrapped around the sky light. Thats my best guess. So maybe they finished the 4th because it was cheaper as it wasn't a full floor.
@@deadgoodwalks yeah I’m sure it was cheaper to finish the fourth floor because I’m sure in that video you can tell that floor was tiny.

I just found out from another cemetery creator that there are stairs in there somewhere I’ve never seen them so they must be behind a locked door. She describes the stairs as blocked. but like I said, I’ve never seen where they could be strange.

Could be all of the material has been sitting on the floors and never completed the finishing constuction. That would be my guess.

For the columbarium? I just did a video last week but basically they’re still waiting on the completion of the construction of floors two and three
