- You look so weird filming with your DJI OSMO POCKET 3. It’s not normal. I think this is what all cinematic vloggers go through before they take the courage to film. From 0 subscribers to 500, to now 1000 TH-cam has changed my life and it’s made my life better that’s for sure. This vlog is about using the DJI in the real world with real situations. Can we make our everyday lives cinematic? There is a new firmware update for the DJI osmo pocket 3 and I decided to take the camera out for some filming. Even though it rained and the DJI OP3 is not waterproof, this is an honest review, my day as a vlogger.
I plan my vlogs quite differently to some, and my costume/outfit is a big part of my aesthetic. I put my effort into production design, not everyone will see that. In this episode I wear two Kapital Boro jackets, one indigo and one hickory liberty stripe Boro. The light and the dark. I like the imperfections in the denim and fabric which is beautiful much like my very imperfect life. I like the way the light hits my camera, the way it hits the fabric, how every moment is considered in the edit. I like the way lens react to light and capture this improvised life that I live. This kind of mindset makes it into my real world interactions, how I get my vision across and see the world (through a lens).
A big thank you to Regina for having me as a subject for the interview. I'm glad to see a generation of Asian Australian talent also pursuing their dreams. I'm proud to be a part of our diaspora and despite struggling with my own personal battles, I'm encouraged in 2024 to see growth. Being an outsider can be hard, and being creative comes with its own set of challenges.
For anyone with a passion or a dream to follow their creative endeavours whatever they are I hope my channel and videos can be an inspiration.

I feel like our emotions come in waves, sometimes at our lowest points we don't feel like creating. And sometimes at its peak, we have this new found passion or drive, and all we can think about is creating and we can't stop. 🌊
I swing between these emotions multiple times in a day! It can be quite tiring but I’m never more happier when making stuff. Thanks so much for watching 😊
I sometimes just feel like sitting there and doing nothing. The second I hit record it lights that fire and I get a wave of motivation and energy. That's how I know what I love.
I had an odd experience the other day where I couldn’t shake the feeling. I got rained on and it was super cold. My next vlog will be exploring those feelings and how I picked it up and finished the next day ❤

Hey, will do I've been trying to work some of that into the episode but basically I shoot in 4k mlog in 10-bit with 5400WB and I grade using free luts on premiere. I manually expose most my shots but I've seen so many ppl using manual exposure and doing just fine. Hope that helps!
