Re-recording of Mario Kart Double Dash, this time it's recorded in the same format as our other Mario Kart videos or racing games. This video shows of all tracks, but not the mirror mode as we don't bother with that in any of our racing games. It also excludes the All Star Cup which is basically just all the same tracks over again, so nothing new there. Game difficulty is played on 150cc and I tried to choose a different team for all of the 4 cups to show off different specials. Anyway, I forgot how this game is so much of an item bombardement.. the 50 and 100cc cups are fine, but the 150cc is just madness and the rubberbanding ai only seems to appear in 150cc. You can get hit by a blue shell on 100cc and still maintain first place, but if it happens on 150cc then you're easily back down to 4-5th place. In the 150cc mode, luck is actually a pretty big factor into winning. Even if you play extremely well, you can definitely end up on 8th place just because they constantly hit you with red shells and whatnot. The item madness might be the reason why they never went back to the double player mode because it basically allows for twice the items as opposed to other mario kart games

My grandma said I looked like a zombie at the end of that day. I don’t think my eyes left the screen once in eight whole hours. Still my favourite MK to this day hands-down. As much as I love Mario Kart 8 and the ability play on the go on Switch, I don’t think any title in the series will ever top Double Dash for me. Maybe it’s just nostalgia and a lack of knowledge about newer games on my part, but I think the Gamecube era titles had a magic to them that’s mostly lost in gaming today.
Dude as a late 90s baby i remember being EVERYONE and making sure i won every cup and then some i still play it man im not gonna lie to you i actually looked this video up to see if anyone still plays it and im glad i have someone with the SAME exact mindset as i do its a absolute masterpiece i always beg for a remake but maybe its best if they don't its a hidden gem.
Can you believe that it's now turned 20 years old since it came out along with Mario Party 5, Mario Golf Toadstool Tour, F-Zero GX, Kirby Air Ride, and even 1080 Avalanche...Man there were a ton of gamecube games released in 2003, and video games in that year as well, that I feel many others (including 2023) can't really top what was considered the best local multiplayer generation of the early and mid 2000s.
The The Big Lie was the most important story in this series and it is one that will continue for a while now and I am sure it is the best story in this game as it was a very interesting one for sure but the game was very much in a good one that was a very important story that was really interesting to watch ask me about the game I think I will be watching this one again soon and again I love this story so very many very many thanks and I hope to hear from the people in this game who will come back and

the best part of this game is that u can see some circuits from others circuits, for example rainbow road is above mushroom city and u can see dry dry desert pyramids in luigi circuit's intro/fanfare

I remember this one, I had such a great time playing this game, this was my 2nd Mario Kart game that I played, such a great memories, then I had a blast of fun with the Mario Kart Wii edition, it's been so long :') Now I'm playing CTR NF obviously isn't the same, I mean it's fun but I can't compare two greatest games, nice longplay :)

Yeah so when the characters get the star how long does it last for and also when people have the lighting bolt ⚡️ and when people activate the star how does counter out the lighting bolt ⚡️ and also how does the star protect the characters from all of the weapons
The mechanics of MK Wii are dumbed down compared to this game. They neutered the drift boost so that anyone could do it, and introduced way too many items. No more special items and back to one racer so who you pick doesn't matter much. A lot of people have good memories of MK Wii, but I think DD and 8 blow it out of the water.
