A few tours back as a detachment of GSBAT (Gravy Seal Basement Assault Team) I once performed the hallowed "Navy Seal Gravy Steal" maneuver successfully one-handed under water in under 11.5 parsecs. To this day there are still rumors circulating that several of the women in the surrounding area immaculately concieved that night.
In all seriousness, our SEALs are awesome and one of the most elite groups of soldiers in the history of humanity. This video's premise is way off because anyone who even considers messing with them is already too far gone.

They talk big shit during their jump school requirement. I watched a five man squad do 100 push-ups in jump school and was begging for more. They all serve the punishment from one squad member and begged for more. Ran a two-mile time one minute faster than my 11 minutes. Drove the black hats crazy at jump school. I doubt many do. Probably some, while they sort sh*t out in their heads, but not for long. Plenty of Ivy Leaguers homeless and in prison at one or another times in their lives. Seals and special forces people were some of the most polite and decent guys I met when I was in the military. No. I was not an elite type.

The Navy's Basic was nowhere near as physically and mentally demanding as the SEALs training. (BUDs).
Although, i feel if the Navy SEALs had the Marine Basic Training, or the Army Basic Training, the selection rate for the Navy SEALs would sky rocket.
I really dislike how people say the Navy Seals are the best, just because some Movies that say "Based On a Real Story" make it seem so badass. every Special Force are Badass, just that they have different Tasks. Navy SEALs happen to be Counterterrorism, and do it more often. making them more popular in news when a terrorist is killed. (for example, Osama Bin Laden).
The Marine Raiders, or the Green Berets. Are better trained for combat, but happen to have different Tasks, which usually is more undercover. The Marine Raiders, and the Green Berets, also do Counterterrorism, just not as often.
This comment is not to demean the Navy SEALs, their training is rough. just wanted to share my opinion and hopefully shed light on the other amazing Special Forces.

I don’t badmouth any special ops troops; they are all dedicated men. I’m army retired and flew Seals, Green Beret and other units, some of whom weren’t officially there(according to their government) in RVN. One thing I do know is that when the Seals said an LZ was cold for a pickup it was graveyard cold. We NEVER took fire on a Seal pickup. I loved flying those guys.

Apparently The average Navy Seal can consume 50 lbs of raw fish every day ?
I was regular infantry and recon later on in my career. Navy seals are usually second best at everything. That's why they get so much hate. They are top 2 or 3 at everything. That being said, recon marines still do VBSS (pirate shit) better than them. And the best cqb, direct action hostage shit was always green berets.
Pretty much most other special operations forces also possess the same physical, mental and psychological qualities too, not just Navy SEALs.
Other special forces are not even half as hard at the navy seals boot camp training

Highly trained & extremely well equipped & supported yes for sure, very good soldiers but not the best warriors, life in 1st world countries is too easy, don’t have the conditions to produce real warriors, take away the tech & they’d get exposed, like what happened to Mark Lutttels team in Afghanistan, they had no air support to rescue them & didn’t have what it takes to outrun or fight those mountain men.
