@@botvidsson I have learnt so much from you. I was inspired to make a short BTS I would love your thoughts if you have a spare 6mins to watch it th-cam.com/video/cAp3aa5cVtM/w-d-xo.html
Another great tutorial video. You emailed me today! Thank you. It makes us feel so much more connected to your channel because you take time to respond.
Thanks Chris! Well, I always try to reply to all comments/emails, right now I have a lot of photography work so it might take some time... Thanks for watching my videos and hope you learn some stuff :)
A video full of great tips again, thank you so much. Not sure if i like ELLIE.D, part of who you were was LEAD LIGHTS :). Be yourself Martin thats why we love you, I'll keep watching either way.
Really digging the new intro/outro. The old one was pretty good but there's something classy as fuck about the heavy guitar riff in your new one. Great tutorial!
As someone on a budget do you think its possible to get by without c stands and use light stands for clamping scrims to bounce light and other diffusion materials etc?
As someone who want's to get into product photography how essential would it be to invest in external flashes? I have some modern LED's but was wondering how big a difference it would make with the flashes. I'm just starting out so trying not to obsess over equipment.
I never recommend using LED lights for product/still life photo cuz: 1. They are not powerful enough 2. Hard to modify the light. They can work if you use only big light source for food photography and similar. I would start with 2 used cheap flashes like Elinchrom or Godox.
Are you going to do a video on retouching? I mean you take a few pictures, but after that what is your process to make a kick-ass and professional picture out of the raw files? A picture the customer buys at the end...? Keep it up!
A great shoot again, again and again!
Big thanks!!
And the man is back!!

So you will not buy the Ellie D t-shirt then I guess 😉 Thanks Greg for the kind words.
@@botvidsson Would be a cool shirt, LOL.
Nice tutorial (as always), very didactic and with a very accessible language. And don't you worry about the L.E.D. Here im Brazil, we say "LED" too...
Yanks man! Yes, in Sweden we say LED :)

Using the torch as a guide to where to point the flash.....great tip!!!

You're very welcome
ELLIE D. 😂
T-shirt coming up! 😎
what kind of plastic you put the glass on ?
It's just some plastic sheet from the handicraft/office supply store, don't know the name!
As someone on a budget do you think its possible to get by without c stands and use light stands for clamping scrims to bounce light and other diffusion materials etc?
Absolutely, 100% It might be a bit more tricky but use whatever you can find within your budget.
Woohoo!
Ihaaaa!
short, but good.
Thanks
Love your video’s and knowledge
Big thanks!
yeah for real the guy has a lot of knowledge and hands on experience. getting inside the head of a pro is a great way to learn
Thanks man!
Hi!!
How do you hold the lenses on place?
Thank you!!
Do you mean the sunglasses? Fishing line and tack-it.
Your right, the sunglasses.
Thanks for the tip!
Love your work 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

@@botvidsson thank you for the reply, I think I will look at purchasing godox sk400
I like that you say LED lights. Don't change to L.E.D say LED! :)
Haha, thanks! Well, in Sweden we actually say LED lights, not Ellie D... but what can you do.
Great. Love your content
Very kind.
Thank you for those videos
My pleasure!
Great shot... I would subscribe again if I could. However, I really thought it was "Elly D" not "Ellie D"... who knew?
Hehe, thanks John! We don't have that name in Sweden so I googled Ellie Golding... 😂 (Ellie G.)
These are diamond!
Thanks Jani!
You need to link the coffee in your description... :D
Hehe, well it's Swedish coffee so... I will google... hold on...
Here you go 🤣 www.arvidnordquist.com/coffee/sortiment/festivita-hela-bonor/?_ga=2.183230950.1543938409.1576717284-101361833.1576717284
In Romania is led too :), don't worry. Cheers
Haha, yes it's the most logic way to say it I think.

I agree, I should. For this one, unfortunately, I did not have time to make an edit video.
Thanks a lot for the support! Merry Xmas! 🔔
I love the fact that you mentioned LED like 10 times
And I didn't even use on...
Thank you!!!
You're welcome!
You really should use a remote shutter release, makes it so much easier
Did not have the strength to connect it...

bit late late in Poland! :]
I know, I'm testing different times. It's late in Sweden too, I know. Sorry about that.
What about photoshoot of rings or earrings ? Something smaller and harder for light setup.
Yes, I'm working on a 'ring-tutorial' - coming soon...
@@botvidsson great to hear ! bad to wait ! GL
In America we call golden sticks "Whibberjabbers".
Edit: Holy shit! You've hit over 15k subs! Congrats brother!
*cough* photoshop video
Hehe. Thanks a lot! What is the real name of the eyewear stick anyway? Side piece?
Haha in the next video can you ask Ellie D to show us how bright she is and if she is hot or cold :) Thanks for the video.
🤣 I will make a ELLIE D t-shirt! Thanks!
@@botvidsson That is such a geek joke for a shirt, that I will have to buy one.
Working on the design right now 😃 Did my first t-shirt yesterday shop.spreadshirt.net/botvidsson/all
