I cannot emphasize enough, as a doll collector, to use fabric softener. Doll hair is the same material as threads in clothing. Love watching videos of people repairing doll hair.

I loved how you fixed the jacket, and how well all the clothing cleaned up, I get so nervous cleaning tiny items like that.

Your channel is beautiful, I always relax watching your videos! I am a doll collector too and I love to restore them, I would highly suggest flat-ironing their hair, kira really needed it and she would look so much better afterward. A flat iron helped me with the most impossible hair textures, like nylon from the tanya/sindy/steffi love dolls of the 90s. Maybe invest in one that has interchangeable blades, that also offer a crimper. "Invest" is probably too big of a word, I paid 20 dollars on mine and I was able to restore totally hair barbie and other crimped hair ladies. But be careful on the heat settings, definitely watch a tutorial beforehand, see how to do it without burning their hair hehe. Greetings from Romania!

I do the same with my thrift finds. I use baby wipes first. I also use Goo Gone to help with stains and , sticky hair, and stains on faces. I also let the Goo Gone set in the hair for 30 mins, or so. Depends on how bad the glue is. I rinse in cool water. Rinsing seems to be the key, just my experience. Beautiful dolls, great job!!

The black haired Barbie is Kira, A Filipina friend of Barbie and she is called Ocean 🌊 Friends Kira (1996) sadly, her magic legging suit no longer work in water 😢 due to old ages
Did you rinse the conditioner out? I must try the baby wipes to clean dolls. They both turned out beautiful. You are so good at styling their hair.
Great question. Yes! I rinsed the conditioner. :) Baby wipes work wonders, but I recommend following up with soap and water in case they have any essential oils that could degrade the vinyl (and get sticky). Thank you! 💕

What wipes did you use in the beginning to clean off the dirt ?
Unscented simply clean baby wipes, BUT I always follow up with a washcloth and water! And If a doll isn't super dirty, I prefer just using a washcloth or sponge with a drop of soap in water (I did that with Kira). 🩷

the jacket barbie has i think its barbie and the sensations becky and the little bikini top is california dream barbie's top, also Kira is Wet N Wild Kira, i have barbie from that line and the hair isnt the greatest, the only way to make it look good is to curl it, cuz i washed mine's hair a dozen times and its always gonna look frizzy and dry and well doesn't look good, but curling it it's the only way
