How do you ensure that nutrient is not flowing out of the bucket and get wasted , as I don't see any arrangement to catch the overflow ?

TDS means Total Dissolved Solids. Paani mein kya kya hai uski total quantity pata chalti hai TDS se. TDS ko TDS meter se naapa jaata hai

Container k andar light nahi jaani chahiye aur container achhi tarah se band ho toh koi problem nahi hai. 25 days aap sirf cocopeat wale method mein hi rakh sakte ho.

First of all awesome video brother.
At 19.38, these cucumbers look little fat and not longer which i think is lack of calcium + boron as lack of calcium + boron leads to uneven shaped fruit atleast in conventional farming.
To rectify either have to increase dose of calcium nitrate and boron in water or directly spray calcium + boron micronutient foliar grade spray.
Unless you're using cucumber variety whose shape is like this.
Can you share which brand variety it is ?
Thanks brother. I would have also been concerned with deficiencies if all my cucumbers were like this but there have been only 2-3 cucumbers which were little deformed among so many cucumbers that I have harvested so far....to put it in numbers 98% of cucumbers that I have harvested were perfect and measured around 7 inches long and 1.5 inches thick.....so a couple of deformed cucumbers doesn't really raise any concern. Also, i don't let cucumbers get too ripe or long as i like them a bit under ripe. I have used Syngenta Glossy cucumber seeds
@@smgardener yes, after i viewed further the rest of the video , rest of the cucumber's looks pretty good.
I want to suggest you this one Variety of cucumber called east west nazia f1. Have heard a lot of good reviews especially of high yield and remains same even above 40 degree Celsius of temperature.
If you want to give that variety a try.
Also i have 1 doubt, we all want to grows organic vegetables for our good health leaving beside the chemical ones from farmers. But what exactly is organic is that aspect. Like in organic people use natural fertilizer and don't use chemical pesticides .
In hydroponics we are also using synthetic chemical/salt based fertilizer not natural ones obviously, so is it healthy that point of view ? That it has grown from chemical but with no pesticides .
Also higher chemical leads to toxicity which we won't let it happen.
So how do you put this health wise.

Hydroponics is very much useful when you wish to grow vegetables at places where you don't have much space like Flats, metro cities or where land is not that fertile or also where you need to feed more people than you can grow food for..... hydroponics in these cases is a life saver BUT organic farming where you grow vegetables in soil using natural fertilizers in the form of compost, etc. will always win hands down when it comes to health because it is the most natural way of farming but to get the most out of organic farming it is very important that your soil is free of chemical fertilizers and pesticides that farmers use these days and also manure you use comes from animals that have been fed with food free of pesticides.
While Hydroponics here seems to be the bad one but many of these fertilizers are natural and are mined from various locations where they occur naturally in abundance so they are natural and some fertilizers are by products of petroleum
So, Organic farming is definitely the best one for our health and Hydroponics comes second without any doubt BUT it is not evil as it reduces water consumption drastically as compared to conventional farming in open fields and also fertilizer use is much much less in hydroponics than in conventional farming
@@smgardener you're right. I mean in drip irrigation the amount of npk like 19-19-19 , 13-00-45, 13-40-13 etc are used 3kg per acre in melon farming.
And it's normal usual dose.
But when i started learning about hydroponics and it's dose to make nutrients solution i was actually confused and shocked to learn how little same grade of fertilizer is required in hydroponics than in soil one meaning in soil fertilizer wastage is more and gets collected inside it and plants doesn't get all of it.
Anyways, i have a query. We are using blend from different raw npk here. But in foreign channels they use masterblend 4-18-38 for many crops
And the closest npk i found to 4-18-38 is 8-16-39 of icl brand , but i don't have required system to try it.
I have a request if you can try it and see the result.

No. Now is not the time. If you can get hand on desi variety or if you have shade net properly installed in your roof then you can try sowing seeds in July/August otherwise for best results do it in February next year

Female flower has tiny fruit forming at it's base while male flower doesn't have any fruit at it's base. Male flower is just like any other flower

You can directly place the seedling but if you can unbound it then it's a better option

How you change TDS, you discard the old nutrients solution and add new one with different TDS.
If you are growing in cocopeat, you don't need to discard the solution. You need to increase TDS by adding stronger concentration of nutrients
If you are growing in water culture then also you can add more nutrients to increase TDS but best practice is to discard the solution and make a fresh one every 10-20 days depending upon reservoir size

Kheere ka plant jab stress mein hota hai toh fruit kadvaa ho jataa hai. Pani, temperature, etc ka dhyan rakhenge toh nahi hoga

For commercial farming it is compulsory......otherwise for hobby or general gardening, polyhouse is not required
