Those good old days - Javagal Srinath, Venkatesh Prasad, Anil Kumble, Rahul Dravid the great pride of Karnataka and India - u can see the humility in these guys - RESPECT
God I loved this man....seriously when everyone wanted to be like tendulkar, I longed to bowl like Srinath. Excellent bowler, and my favourite cricketer.
A true gentleman of the game and probably best indian fast bowler. Definitely one of great indian cricketers.Selfless and always gave more than 100% in every single match he played.
In 1997 in a match against Zimbabwe at paarl, his bowling speed was said to be hit at 157 kph (98 mph) and only Indian fast bowler to do so in international cricket till now.
True Champion !!! I use to bowl in the same action like srinath used to by running to bowl with ball in the 2 hands. Very Nostalgic Feel. Really a Gem of a person in Indian cricket. So Sad is he was very underrated !!!!
He was as quick as Donald during 93-97, he was very tall, fantastic high arm action, had great stamina, everyball he would bend his back. During the latter stage of his test career he became even better and a complete bowler. Missed out on 10-15 test matches due to injuries in 1997-98.
Indian cricket doesn't value bowlers. Srinath was a gem in an otherwise ocean of mediocrity that can be Indian fast bowling. Wonderful talent and a very humble human being.
One word for Ind cricket Upto 2023 only one king and lion of HISTORY .MY BIG BIG HERO ITS ONLY JAVAGAL SRINATH SIR. HE DESERVE MORE RESPECT BUT BCCI CAN'T GIVE HIM
i think what he is saying is he is among the people who stuggled for success even among the frustration of playing for delhi. maybe he speaks about fast bowling from somebody like zaheer khan's perspective. he looks like since long looking at how youngsters have shaped up. suddenly he throws up to delhi.
Bangalore boys retired for better debut matches for the newbies 👍🏻# the then fastest bowler Srinath ,the wall which had a lot of cracks ,a champion player who wants to pick wickets every ball 👍🏻 loved my childhood 90”s cricket Sachin “s era 🇮🇳🇮🇳🇮🇳👌👌👌
Such far-sightedness. He makes a point about sustenance being the key for fast bowlers. Irfan and Balaji couldn't sustain the level of their initial performances and what was being tipped as India's new bowling pair for the next decade to come, died a rather fast death.
again the struggle for supremacy that we cannot convince people to speak their mind about the way the cricket was played. maybe srinath bowled his best in that period. nobody to even dare.
Let's not entirely blame Kapil Dev's hanging around for the world record for this man's underachievement completely. When Kapil retired in 1994 this man was still only 25 & started bowling with the new ball. That is not starting very late. If you look back you will see that his career almost paralleled Glen McGrath's. McGrath played his first test at 23 & started taking the new ball at almost 26. Just see what he achieved & what Srinath did. He could not even achieve McGrath's 50%. He claimed he was a mediocre bowler & not a great one like McGrath when close to retiring. While it's nice to be humble it is another thing deciding to stay mediocre when you know that you are mediocre! & they say knowing your limitations is to overcome them.
sumit hegde but dear McGrath played till the age of 38 and he played in fast bowler friendly pitches also had good support bowlers nd quality fielders to take catches whereas India opened the bowling with Ganguly in test matches with srinath just check the quality of Indian fielders during 90-00 is also reason for less no of wickets Then how did Imran tel Srinath was the most underrated bowler and same was told by pollock recently also

same here i am 5' 4" i used to bowl in my school mimicking srinath:)

You sound like his illicit child
Amazing fast bowler with such a selfless attitude & dedication towards the team..Hats off to Srinath Sir!!!
my favorite of all time!
The way he pronounces environment, says it all about his upbringing. Salute
My fav cricketers always are Dravid and Srinath!! Who never cared about the fame but always played for the country!!
True...both were honest, dedicated and putting 100 percent heart and soul.
They are come from the same land
My favorite. I loved his bowling and pinch-hitting ability. Those were the days! Thanks, Sri Sir.
he is the fastest indian bowler till now.
The way he praised IK and the Ws shows how much Indian fast bowlers admired them
Happy 51st birthday dear Javagal Srinath. What a humble servant Mysore Express has been for Indian cricket.
nice to see srinath speaking....usually he did not speak ...one of my best bowler ever..
Most underrated cricketer of India..You are a champ
Hands down, Sri was India's best "fast" bowler
Aravind Sesagiri Raamkumar Nah, Kapil Dev was the best.

Humble, hard working man who served his country to the best of his abilities... I just loved his pinch hitting...
My fav fast bowler . Love you Shreenath
World best bowler javagal Sri Nath.
Salute to him.
Best wishes to srinath.
True Champion !!! I use to bowl in the same action like srinath used to by running to bowl with ball in the 2 hands. Very Nostalgic Feel. Really a Gem of a person in Indian cricket. So Sad is he was very underrated !!!!
he is truly gentleman fast bowler...deserved more
Respect for this great Indian fast bowler. I want my son to bowl like him
Srinath was the greatest trier. Very much like Bob Willis .On his day he was very dangerous and really fast.
Suck the interviewer doesn't know to listen, Javagal Srinath is my Mysore's gem, Mysore express, feels proud to share the same city as such legends
javaghal srinath was a briiliant bowler and he is showing great sportsman spirit and appreciating waseem and waqar
He was as quick as Donald during
93-97, he was very tall, fantastic high arm action, had great stamina, everyball he would bend his back. During the latter stage of his test career he became even better and a complete bowler. Missed out on 10-15 test matches due to injuries in 1997-98.
legend bowler srinath
Javagal Srinath is the best fast bowler of India
He was the most committed player alongwith kumble.
Such selfless and humble man. Respect
Javagal srinath was better then kapil dev on a given day
Javagal Srinath sir is legend
If javagal watches this interview now he must smile and say let me rectify this is the best bowling attack that we have now 2020 not then.
A real gentleman a real sportsmen.
I love you sir heartily
Srinath sirji !!!
Respect for Javagal Srinath sir
Indian cricket doesn't value bowlers. Srinath was a gem in an otherwise ocean of mediocrity that can be Indian fast bowling.
Wonderful talent and a very humble human being.
+Gibran Khan Agree with you. That's the primary reason why India is not able to produce fast bowlers like Pakistan or even Srilanka.
india's one of the greatest fast bowler he is my favourite Mysore express
Guess plenty has changed in these 4 years
Standing with The Bat.....Facing him you have to be Technically Correct... Lovely Bowler
One word for Ind cricket
Upto 2023 only one king and lion of HISTORY .MY BIG BIG HERO ITS ONLY JAVAGAL SRINATH SIR.
HE DESERVE MORE RESPECT BUT BCCI CAN'T GIVE HIM
his voice accent and looks like dev anand saab

Best bowlers were produced in the 90s
I wish the interviewer allowed him to finish what he wanted to say before asking him next question!
best India had
HUMILITY personified!!
Current Indian cricket team jackasses, (other than Sir Dhoni) LEARN!!!!
Bangalore boys retired for better debut matches for the newbies 👍🏻# the then fastest bowler Srinath ,the wall which had a lot of cracks ,a champion player who wants to pick wickets every ball 👍🏻 loved my childhood 90”s cricket Sachin “s era 🇮🇳🇮🇳🇮🇳👌👌👌
cannot approach srinath. very good in mysore pitch!
Such far-sightedness. He makes a point about sustenance being the key for fast bowlers. Irfan and Balaji couldn't sustain the level of their initial performances and what was being tipped as India's new bowling pair for the next decade to come, died a rather fast death.
He is innocent, simple and a kind Gentleman
Our team took years to get used to his pace. The fielders dropped more than catching
The best till date
Kapil dev showed Indians that seam bowling could be done at the international level by Indians and srinath showed that Indians could bowl fast.
why do people taking interview act so smart? He does let him finish before asking next question. It is so insulting to the speaker.
professional
I wonder why he didn't take Venkatesh Prasad's name in his interview..
Cos he was medium fast( just medium with variations)😀
@@pps2919Haha
again the struggle for supremacy that we cannot convince people to speak their mind about the way the cricket was played. maybe srinath bowled his best in that period. nobody to even dare.
Interviewer is thinking it is his interview or what 🙏 let Srinath talk
he did not want the young generation bowlers the same feeling that he suffered from selfish kapil dev
viswanath s selfish kapil dev??? I did not understand brother
srikanth s kapil block him coz kapil was playing for his world record of 431 and took four years to get it from 91 400wicket to 94 434wicket

Can I see you at least one time srinath?
In this, srinath looks like another person..
Thodi manoj bajpayee ki sakal aa rhi hai
