    Hello po mam! Ano po yon acceptable (or average) na FR at SR sa ating industry (construction, manufacturing, etc.)? Me reference po ba tayo para i-compare ang current FR/SR ng isang company?
    Thanks po for the information.

    • @OSHCREU8-EngrElen
      @OSHCREU8-EngrElen  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hi. Like I mentioned earlier on someone who asked similar question, based on our OSHS, we do not have set standard for both; but for recommended acceptable rates, we have to target as low as practicable or even zero if possible. The best reference to compare company's FR and SR is its own previous year data, you will see if you have improved or not, if there is a decrease on your FR and SR, then, that is a good indication that your performance in OSH is improving. Hope this helps! Keep safe!

    Good afternoon maam,medyo na curious lng po ako sa given answer.In the since po,na ang unit na binigay sa fatality and disability is no of days, e Times 1 million,which is ang multiplier at divisor natin ay hour ang unit na ginagamit. Anong unit ngayon pweding gagamitin sa final answer natin days or hour.
    1.) Halimbawa: the computation states that we have a frequency rate of: 98.0 so
    FR=98.0. Ano gagamitin nating unit dyan po? Pwede bang.
    FR=98.0 days or
    FR= 98.0 hour..In the since na hour ang multiplier at divisor.
    May nagtanong na kc, nyan minsan sa,akin dko din masagot kc ako din nalilito..
    2. Hal.FR= disabling is day X1 million/ hour.devided by 1million hour/ pa din ang unit.So ideal po ba na tawagin ko answer na FR is =98.0 day or 98.0 hour kc nga divisor natin is no.of hour at hindi no.of days.
    Thak you po maam,more power and God bless po.

    • @mariaelenadiez5656
      @mariaelenadiez5656 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi. The Frequency Rate is expressed in "Number of Disabling Injuries" in terms of a million man-hour, per given period (ex. 1 year) . Since the formula for FR is, FR=Number of Disabling Injuries/Illness (no. of DI) X 1,000,000 (man-hours)/ total employee-hours of exposure (man-hours), thus if the covered period is 1 year; example if the FR=98; it is expressed as " 98 number of DI" for every 1 million man-hour.

      Good day. If the worker/s was found positive of COVId-19 and if indeed proven to be a work-related, then it will be considered as a lost time incident/ disabling. If the worker was not positive or not proven to be work-related, then it should not be accounted as lost time incident. Thanks

    • @OSHCREU8-EngrElen
      @OSHCREU8-EngrElen  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It depends on the type of accident or injury. Accident resulting to injury must be reported to DOLE on the 20th day of the month following the date of the occurrence of the accident using the WAIR prescribed form, and if the injury is a major injury such as permanent total disability, permanent partial disability or death, it must be notified to DOLE within 24 hours. Aside from WAIR, at the end of the year on or before the 30th of January dapat e submit din ang Annual Work Accident/ Injury Exposure Data report or yong AEDR. Sa AEDR lang mayron requirement to compute for FR and SR.

      Hi. Yon actual man-hours po ang kailangan, meaning kung ang isang worker ay nagtrabaho ng 2 months lang then nag resign, yon number of hours worked in 2 months nya lang ang isama sa computation. We need the actual man-hours worked in a year or the approximate.

      Hi. If may data po kayo sa actual number of workers and their number of hours worked in a year yon po ang gagamitin po. Yon total man-hours in a year po ang kailangan natin for the computation. Example po: if some workers worked only 2 months on that year, yon number of hours worked in 2 months lang isama natin sa computation.
