Oh hi Mark I mean... sith and Jedi don’t really exist anymore. I think they’re trying to get the dark side and the light side to really join together to create ultimate balance. Full acceptance of one another and not create the mistakes of the past with the Jedi and sith.

All the employees put on acts that would be exhausting to do all day everyday of work. Hell just sitting there listening to some of the rides music on a loop for 8 hours must make you want to put a gun in your mouth.

Lol. keep both. I don't konw if I can do the wand selection. I've seen it and basically laugh at it it seems silly. (But as much as I enjoy HP, I'm not a "hardcore" fan) This.. just. seems.. so much more immersive and realistic.

I know this is a joke but its a safety violation to have an exit sign not look like a generic exit sign.
There needs to be a lot more customizable pieces and parts. Sith Lord pieces like Dooku, and Sidious lightsaber parts are absolutely necessary.
They could probably have some limited-time pieces as more time passes. This is Disneyland, and they're known for doing stuff like that. Hopefully the first limited set comes soon.

chamoo232 true, i assume this position is fun for the first week, especially having to deal with both really big nerds and clumsy children. but i thought maybe it was similar to the great movie ride, one person doesn’t play the driver, mobster, or cowboy, multiple cast members do.
@@lengthylexicons Yes that is definitely how I think they work. The "helpers" are probably there all the time but what I would call the "performers" probably do many roles. I dont think the same guy does it 7 days a week and 12 hours per day. To be fair that hilt building thing won't have as many people going through as we think. You spend 20 minutes building and then they reset everything for another 20 minutes. They really only do it a dozen times during an 8 hour shift. I just saw another video of it and it was the short lady with the glasses doing the presentation and the tall guy was not there.

The purple crystal isn't exactly rare, but it's rare to be used because to have it choose you, you have to be rather fluent in both the light and the dark sides of the force. A risky balance

Tomorrowland will finally receive it's long overdue makeover. In 2021, the entire land will be closed and bulldozed (no more 1960's era buildings, the subs, autopia and old people mover will be gone), the only thing that will remain will be Space Mountain but heavily renovated to fit the new atmosphere when the land reopens in 2025. Just in time for Disneyland's 70th anniversary, the new Tomorrowland will have will have 2 new e-ticket attractions, including the Tron-cycle rollercoaster with loops.

The stuff they're currently building in the parks will be monuments to an age of Disney no one wants to remember. Revenue is going to continue to drop for their IPs - and the shareholders will demand a changing of the guard.
They'll tout Ep 9 as a success for doing over a bill, but we all know if all the agenda was removed from those films, it would be the 1st ever film to hit 3 billion.

You can get yellow and white kybers at a different store.
White and Yellow Kyber crystals will be available at Nok-Ondar's Den of Antiquities. It's there in Galaxy's Edge too. (price for the crystals is 12.99USD).

The workshop experience only allows you to choose between the color that appeared in the films, but there's a separate store next door where you can purchase yellow and white, colors that so far appeared only in the shows. You can also purchase the other three colors you didn't go with at Savi's if you want to.

This is the one thing i must have from GE. The price is totally worth it for what your getting. Metal hilt, crystal, saber blade, and carrying case plus the show. The value is insane.
There are lightsabers sold online that are more expensive than 200 bucks.

I went there on 31st with the second group at 11am and they closed the shop because it was backed up for four hours. I went back at 2pm and they still had the shop closed and still told me that it's backed up for 4 hours. I was very disappointed among a lot of other people. Build a saber was not kind to many people. They need to figure on how to give a chance for others when it opens to the public with no RSVP, it's going to be chaos
I see a lot of people complaining about the cost... Plastic star wars ones for kids cost roughly 100$ but with this it looks metal, you actually put it together, and you have a whole show which makes the piece more special. Def not for everyone, but for true star wars fans this is a dream come true
Look really awesome! I hope one day they'll expand this with the option to build Double-Bladed and Curved-Hilt Lightsabers in the the future.

I went to Disneyland with my mom just yesterday and we went to Galaxy's Edge for the first time.
One of the things we did there was build our Lightsabers at Savi's workshop.
I built my Defense and Protection saber with a green blade and Susen built her Peace and Justice with a purple blade.
It was so much like a Jedi training. ☺

Yeah this reminds me of a similar attraction in Tommorow Land where you do the exact same thing, except you get a little more freedom in terms of making something unique.
I made monstrosity of a blade with Darth Maul's staff as the base a Kylo Ren styled blade on one end that was colored purple and another Kylo Ren blade but it was green.

In Disney Springs, there is a work shop and it has plastic stuff to build a lightsaber with, and it’s much cheaper. It’s probably my favorite thing I’ve ever bought in Disney, lol.

But when you think about it's the same price you pay online so I'd say the experience is worth it
Yah $200.00 for what looks to be a bulky, fat, unwieldy lightsaber with not enough selectable options to be anywhere near worth the price. They seem like a metal version of the blade builders sabers.

I've been told it is very bulky and all authentic metal. This isn't plastic. Also, the blades are meant for harsh dueling. That means for whacking them very hard against things without them breaking.
Now I"m just curious as to how the TSA will react to this. I can't take the plastic "Build-a-Bear version" one in my carry-on, so I bet that will be the same deal with the big one?
zeekslider The public support in the TSA has been in the toilet for at least a decade. I honestly think that if TSA dared to start confiscating these expensive sabers that serve no ability to harm anyone it will be the tipping point for public support and voters will demand the organization be abolished and private security set in. The TSA knows their credibility is in the toilet and I don’t think they’ll cross that line but hey don’t ever underestimate the stupidity of stupid people.
@@Maniac536: The only reason I ask is because of, like I said in my original comment, the Cast at Disney Springs told me at check out that I had to dismantle my plastic lightsaber and put it in my check in back. They said that TSA will have issues with a toy that doesn't even look like a real weapon.
Hell, my carry on bag was PULLED AND UNPACKED after I went to Wizarding World because the paint used in the wands you buy come up as glass in the X-ray scan!! Security thought I had three glass shivs in my backpack!! **facepalm** I'm lucky they let me keep them after they opened the boxes and realized they were wood.
zeekslider paint being detected as glass? I had previously heard their “infallible” systems are so bad they can’t tell the difference between hand lotion and something dangerous this is a new level of incompetence...
@@Maniac536: The paint used for the wands is acrylic paint. Acrylic, apparently, comes up as glass.
zeekslider I would think that was hilarious if it wasn’t so tragic. Meanwhile 95 percent of the stuff that is actually dangerous that they use to test the scanners go right through.

Shinobi Kenobi Disney certainly doesn’t see it that way. They refer to their employees as “cast members,” they areas of the park not accessible by the public “back stage.” Further, the “cast members” are told who their “character” is and told to take on a persona to match.
Some kid is going to be confused when they wake up in the middle of the night with their dad standing over them with a activated lightsaber.
I can't wait to do this next year when we go to Disney in FL.
