You can also buy a code reader and then look up the codes. Cheaper than a diagnostic cost at the mechanic, also it’s a way to make sure they’re being honest when it’s too big of a job for you. I have one in my Chevy Colorado.
You can also borrow/rent the code readers from Orielys or Autozone any time your check engine lights come on. It will give you a code, Google the code and it tells you what the issue is
This! Also some parts stores will hook their scanner up for free, just ask. My husband and I run an auto shop so I can answer any questions you might have.
@@harmonymccray8473 I think in California they aren’t allowed to loan out code readers like they used to. But you can buy one for less than the diagnostic from a shop.

My husband does all the work on our cars. He has a code reader that will diagnose the check engine light and anything he hasn’t done himself before (which is not much at this point 😅) he just watches tutorials and figures it out. Saved us soooo much money! The only hard part for us is finding the time with a toddler running around lol

Product Recommendation: Look into a FIXD scanner, it can't fix your problem, but it will tell you what error code is causing the engine light and can reset it as well. I like using it to decide if its a problem I want to bring to the mechanic or not :)
If you want to listen to music while you vlog just use an ear bud in one ear. I do that at work all the time. I can tune out the music or podcast when someone is speaking to me or I'm speaking to them. Just a helpful little tip😊
Auro parts stores in Indiana do diagnostics for free. I can't believe they charged you $180!! 😲

Hey just watched your other video and with the water marks, a plain brown paper bag and an iron gets it out every time. My Grandfather used to strip and refinish antique furniture and that’s what he taught me. Gentle pressure on a medium setting and it should just lift away as the ring is from trapped moisture.

You can buy a diagnostic reader it’s really cheap
Most automotive stores have code readers that they can lend out if you want to save a little money
Buy a Hayes or Chilton manual for your truck. They do a complete breakdown and rebuild of your specific vehicle. This way you can repair most problems yourself.
You need a code puller/reader thing-ah-ma-bob.
You can get an error scanner for the car to check what’s wrong
Can somebody remind me why Blaze is muzzled at the vet? Obviously not all muzzle usage is aggression related but I forget why he was muzzled. Anxiety? I don't necessarily blame him if its anxiety since he was so sick 6mths ago. My cockapoo was really sick last August (attatched neighbours reported her for 'barking' when it was post dental chew zoomies well outside our are'as noise issue times, yelled '[dog's name] shut up' or 'somebody shut that ****ing dog up through the party wall, left nasty notes on the doorstep etc, and decided to throw poisoned food over the fence when we confronted them about it and pointed out how often THEIR... nighttime activities had woken us or kept us awake at times legally considered a noise issue, can't prove it but she brought up undigested food we don't buy and our yard's not overlooked at all apart from by them) and spent 72hrs in intensive care. She already had separation anxiety before she got sick and now she's even worse. She's super gregarous and loves meeting people, but if she's taken from us she freaks out and was not like that pre illness. If Blaze is vet anxious because of his past illness or its another reason I have no judgement whatsoever, that's not what this is about and I hope my above seque explains that, I simply can't remember if there was an explaination before or if he was muzzled at the vet before he was ill.
She has done it for the safety of the vets and vet techs cause he’s “scary” or “big”

$700 is a big rip off! They are over charging you especially because you are a woman. As woman, I know mechanics over charge us because they think we don’t know anything. It’s just ridiculous when you can do something that simple yourself for cheaper. Pro tip, go to Auto Zone or O’Rilley’s and ask them for the check engine light code machine or you can ask them to do it for you FOR FREE and then they tell you what is wrong with your truck. Plus spark plugs are always the easiest thing to change and way cheaper to do it yourself. Looking out for you girl! Love your vlogs! ❤🙌

I think it's your sweet kitty Rachel who peed on the floor and on the bed.. as per the track record. I had a really picky Siamese years ago.. and if the litterbox was not cleaned often enough.. I changed it once a week... and if I was a day late she would pee on my bed!!! Grrrr... after 3 times of this happening.. I was never late again in 17 yrs I had her... lol..... Soooooo... maybe see if this might be the reason? Also.. she wouldn't use the clumping cat litter either as it left her box smelling all of the time. So it had to be completely fresh litter every single Sunday and disinfected box... but she was totally worth keeping happy!! Gotta love our sweet fur kids. 😻 Hope you get to the bottom of the pee mystery!! 🧐 Cheers .. from .. Ontario, Canada 🍁
