Quite a few of those prints would make beautiful wall art all on their own. I have taken pieces like that, trimmed them to 3x3, 4x4 and even 5x5, framed them and use them as accent pieces throughout my home. I love the responses from guests that take an interest in these tiny pieces of art, as their eye catches them here and there.
I’m learning sooo much from you! I’m really grateful! I’m in my late 50s and I just started painting, I’m thinking, it’s never too late to have a new love.
So often I have scraps that take my breath away, yet they are not enough for a finished work. Your video gives me ideas about playing, warming up, and maybe making sense out of them. Thank you.
Thank you for sharing this video. I have always found the marks on those "not so happy accidents" quite interesting and never felt compelled to throw them out. This approach has certainly given them a whole new life on to their own. I enjoy all your videos.
Ive watched this video a few times and love it. I have folder with lots of leftover bits of paper and off cuts of paintings that have some elements l like. Your videos are short but say so much. Thank you Jane im going to have a play later today ❤
I have done similar in the past & sometimes I like the piece just as it is. The most pleasing ones I attach to my pin board. It’s great to see what you have done here. Thank you for sharing
Another splendid video... or was it magnificent. I'll hedge my bets and say it was splendificent. Thank you for creating and sharing these wonderful works of art.
I so enjoyed watching you make these, the whole process from beginning to end. Inspiring and just might have a relaxing few hours doing this myself. Thank you 😊 Edit: and I'm very much loving the longer videos, much appreciated.
What a beautiful way to display your scraps of art which totally could be something else! Could you share where you get your large sheets of paper please?
this is so beautiful. Can I ask you, where are these leftovers from? I mean, you say from printmaking but what kind of? with what paints/inks? thank you for your channel

I love all of these processes. It's not about the finished product, it's the creativity that's important.

I enjoyed watching how you put these scrapes together and hearing your thought processes. They turned out to be quite compelling. Thanks for sharing.
Love watching you play around with the options, building (in my mind) little barn buildings with patchwork wood and rust. 💕
Spot on as usual Jane. Tons of great visual information ! 😎👍🇨🇦
Everything you touch seems to turn to visual gold.
These are lovely, interesting, and engaging. I love the idea of small pieces building together.
You remain the master of design, Jane. Thanks for this bit of inspiration.

Any. Just experiment.

I beg to differ. I think some of them ARE "happy accidents ready to be framed".
I was going to say the same thing. I would’ve happily put any of those sheets on my wall and the collages were just as beautiful.
