- This place is stunning on the outside! Can't believe they've aloud it to get so wrecked, it's such a shame to see it. Inside is quite wrecked, so I've tried to find the interesting bits that are left.

I don't understand how anyone cold let that happen to this beautiful property. I can only imagine how amazing this place must have been in its time.
Star Fire Welly because people can be very superstitious as they say there's a ghost lives in that castle? They named her, Betty... I think that's what they called her.
Wow just read the ramblings of Misty. If this were a place that obviously looked as if it were a summer home, someone was ill and it's been locked up, being kept up, maintained...I'm sure you wouldn't have just gone in out of curiousity. Or it looked like it was in the beginnings of refurbishing, but this is obviously not the case. These videos are interesting for those of us that love history and antiques. They are made so we can see the craftsmanship, imagine the history, the families that lived there. He's not going in there vandalizing like other thugs.
I appreciate the fact that you take your time and think about what you are filming. Great for the viewer. Thanks
Cool video! Cool Mansion! Places like that make life seem so surreal sometimes. The history. Makes me wish I could go back in time to be there when bread was being baked and kids were chasing each other down the halls.
I love your videos! I'm obsessed with old buildings, but too much of a scaredy cat to go look in them myself! Keep up the great work!
You should just give it a try, you'll get less scared :) I remember when I first started exploring, we pushed the door open, shined the torch and walked back out lol :-)
This is really finely done video! You even took the time to go into each of the old bathrooms, which I love to see. It's a travesty that these architectural wonders are left to rot. Countries spend hundreds of billions on wars, but never anything money to save there heritage - it's obscene. Thanks for sharing this. It deserves many many more hits.
So sad to see what happens to a place once abandoned. You guys have the BEST places on earth. Just knowing you can see/touch something that was built so long ago is spine chilling. I've a couple of friends in England and one has a pub in her neighborhood that was build in the 1600's. I can't wait to visit!
Thanks for giving us a look into what is part of our *US* history as well...
This is without a doubt one of the most beautiful, but dangerous, Urbex videos I've ever seen. That castle was so majestic, but now it is just crumbling. Such a shame no one cared enough to maintain it. But thank you for putting yourself at risk to video tape it! :-O
That being said, I was happy to see that what's left hasn't been defaced by vandals. It seems like Europe and the UK have far less damage done to their abandoned properties than here in the US. It always get so upset to see when people have such disrespect for old buildings.
This is so cool! Wish I knew people who did these kind of things so I could come along sometime :(
Will have to settle with your videos for now haha
haha I'm sure there's people out there! Where do you stay? :)
TeEnZiE
The Netherlands, so just across the pond ;)
BlazingsNL Well if you're ever in Scotland let me know :)
TeEnZiE Unfortunately I can't say I come there often haha. But I'll definitely keep it in mind!
I have the answer : " Welcome to my channel. My name is Tina, and I love exploring abandoned and forgotten places.
"Trespassing" beyond the "Do Not Enter" signs. Buildings, Underground Tunnels, Drains, Mines, Hospitals, Live sites."
:)
Thank you for risking your life to show us the videos. It is very tough sometimes getting around in order to take the pictures. Could see how you had to try to get u the stairs to get to the top and had to skip a few broken ones. Just all be safe and careful. We all love seeing them.
i love ur work and im always gratefull for a last look at these beautiful buildings ,even in their dying state .thank u .x
Your videos are one of the best of its kind...and the music is perfect. I'm a total fan.
Tu eres exelente ! tus videos transportan y me regalan mucho. Un cordial saludo desde Las Californias Mexico ! gracias mil !
Good video guy takes great shots shows exactly what you want to see this is a beautiful beautiful place keep up the good work

Thank you very much and I'm glad you're enjoying the videos ! :)
i am! and looking forward to c what youfind 2 show us 8 )
This is an amazing find. I love houses like these
Amazing video as always! Would love to see this place! Keep up the great work!
I love places like that! Huge antique gothic castles w/ nature sourrounding it. Lucky... You got to get in there.. Thats what I like about Europe. They have beautiful big creepy-looking castles. You dont find that in the US. I hope the castles stay there for a very long time...
Thank you for the beautiful video !
Amazing stairs. Keep sharing I love it all
That's a nice wee explore goin on there Tina. Looked like there was a few tricky bits to keep you on your toes. Nicely done as always :-)
It was a good explore, but have to look beyond the rubble lol Bit of an assault course, but I had to make sure I saw every bit incase I missed something hehe :)
That was amazing and sad.Thank you for the tour.
WOW !!!! been waiting for something like this, unbelievable how they let places like this go.great video, loved the stair case and widows, great find. have a great week :)
It is a stunning place and shame they've left it to rot! I guess staircases are the strongest part, cause they're always the last to collapse lol Thanks for subbing the new channel and have a great week too :D
Sad to see beautiful places get overrun and fall apart from neglect.
yes, the outside is still very nice. it was a really beautiful place at one time. such a shame to see it like this. thank you for sharing.
I really like how you did your video. You let the images speak for themselves without all that Jibber jabber and stating the obvious to us....nice music too! Thumbs UP!
Wonderful find Tina, thanks!
Thank you! It's a grand old place! :)
All your videos are amazing did not know there where so many abandoned places in Scotland
It always makes me sad to see such old buildings go unattended for all those years when it's so beautiful.
It is such a shame, especially places like this! :)
Great video! Love what you've got here!
The kitchen stove was wonderful and the architectural details amazing. I think part of the problem is that not only is the property undoubtedly expensive, restoration would be even more millions, and then you have to heat and cool them and do continual expensive upkeep.
Another awesome video girl, be safe out there.
Love this!!!
Your videos are great! I've watched about 10 in a row but don't know why I'm so drawn to them and find them so interesting. Some of my earliest memories are of going through a big old abandoned house in our town as a kid and going through all kinds of emotions, maybe that has something to do with it.
thankyou for shareing your adventures, stay safe and have fun
You're welcome! :D
-.- I want that castle so bad!
T.T
Jamie Ackerman You can get one by killing all the vampires on Skyrim, you could level up with a mage or a swordsman and beat those vampires out of their castle! You could also manage to get a tower for yourself. ;)
... beautiful video , thanks for sharing ヅ
lol i loved the dog at the end
wow cool looking place ...could imagine what it looked like when people were there,,,great video :)
If only we had a time machine! :)
Stunning indeed, is that an altar of some kind at 2:23 ? SO much dirt & debris, & so much architecture left in its wake !
Great vid what a beautiful home,it's ashame it's been left to rot, please be careful in your explorations
Such a shame to see that conditions of a beautiful building, by the way It will be nice to hear your voice and possible explanations, the things that you see
Makes me sick. They will never have sturdy structures like this again.
I'm not so sure, check out the show "Grand Designs", some of the houses those crazy people build will be around for a LONG time. (And I mean crazy in the best possible way, crazy is not necessarily a bad thing!)
Thanks. I'll check it out.
God this music give me a woodie....great music.
It's so sad to see such beauty in such terrible state!
Very jealous ;-),
Nice find
Thumbs up,once again
Glad you liked it :D :)
Great Video👍🏻Many Greetings from Germany
I can only imagine the beauty this mansion contained in its "hey day". It must of been a beautiful place to live. I'm sure it cost a lot for the water, the heat, and the electric bills.
Yeah it would have been an amazing grand place! Would need some solar panels on the roof nowadays though lol
That castle is beautiful!
emmakathryn only someone bought it, flip it and resell it in a huge amount of profit as the castle will have it's purpose again.
Terrific videos, Thanks so much for sharing them. Even In their day they must have cost a fortune for maintenance and up keep plus staff to run them. Still a shame to let them go. Be safe out there.
Brilliant Video Tina.........................................Nathan
Thanks Nathan :)
Wow.... Awesome place.
The outside of that place looks SO good!! What a total shame that it looks like a bomb site on the inside!!! That looks like Eastend fast forwarded 15 years! Another shameful waste. Good find though :)
Congratulations, excelent video.
Beautiful
cool vid, i bet that was a really nice place to live back in the day.
Yeah I bet! It must have been a rich family too. They'd be turning in there graves!
muchas gracias, buen trabajo. gracias por compartir y arriesgarse de otro modo no podriamos admirar esa belleza,
Lovely building and still saveable. You could strip it bare and build a modern house inside the sound walls. Looks like it needs a resident ghost!
It would make a nice carehome! Instead of all those modern ones they built next to main roads and pubs!
It would be amazing if you could find pics of how she looked when lived in, or shortly after abandoned.
Amazing video. A true explorers dream. Who is the music by? It fits wonderfully with this castle.
What causes a lot of damage to the structure of these wonderful buildings is simple - the lead gets stolen from the roofs. Water ingress then does the rest. Must have been a glorious place in its heyday. So sad.
Hi Tina, I'm from Indonesia and your video its very great nice video. I just wanna share my opinions that in most of your video like most of 70-80% of it its always showed the inside of the castle and mansions, whic is great but can you please give more extra time viewing the abandon castle and mansion from the outside, coz a ruined old places usually have the same old things inside messy dirty etc, but sometimes what mersmerize in which we dont have castle or mansions in our country are those looks of old castle and mansion, so please show more the outside view of the house. cheers Tina keep up the good work, If I went to london again I will definitly contact you ;)
Absolutely amazing!!! It really is such a shame what they have allowed the interior to become :( Hope someone who can give it TLC gets it before its too late!!! Thanks for the video
Great video and a fabulous castle at one time. Was that a chapel with stained glass if so is that common in castles? Thanks for filming and be safe.
I would love to have that!!!
Any history you can share with us about the place? Awesome video
How do you guys find these places? OMG I would love to do what you do. Please tell
that place looks so cool :O. Quite a shame that its so demolished on the inside :/
I know, it would be amazing to fix it up again!
Love your pooch !
freakin awesome,
Good stuff, it's great to see these old grand mansions/castles like this but, to bad it's in a decayed state. We don't have very old buildings like this in the US, although there are a very few old grand buildings like this but, those type of old buildings are so few in the US that the old mansions/castles that are here are well preserved and they offer tours for a small price. I guess the US is still young compared to Europe...lol
Haha, yeah I guess we are ancient over here! I'd love to visit and old prison in America though, that would be amazing! Or a ghost town! It's odd because we have hundreds of year old castles here that are old ruins with nothing in them and they keep them as tours, but places like this get left to rot! I would find this a better tour than the older castles we have that all look the same!
TeEnZiE
I have been to many ghost towns in Nevada. You should start a kick starter and make a full movie of your trip that would be epic!
You can see door handles n stuff missing. That's because they'd be relatively valuable. There'd be so much in there you could sell.
That place had to be drafty and cold in the winter with those super high ceilings.
Wow. Looks like the place was about to crumble right under you.
Yeah it does! My foot went through the floor on the 2nd level so quite dangerous lol :)
TeEnZiE You know if someone found that house and cleaned up the yard around it. The outside and paint it, fix the insides with some new or classic furniture. You would see how beautiful it becomes, it would probably be worth millions if someone did that.
Adale Phoenix True, and in fact I wish someone would, but it would cost a LOT of money.
Unbelievably sad that this beautiful building was left to rot. Is there any info on it? How old? I’m thinking that it was eventually used for something other than a private home (“Women Only”) at some point...can tell that it must have been a beaut in its hey-day! Thanks for sharing!
what a place
Yet another brilliant video I bet you are best friends with google maps ha
haha yeah, I spend way to much on there lol! :)
great video , it was a nice little mansion
really sad that the owner don´t care about it :(
amazing video, pretty sad
The problem everyone has with magnificent buildings like these is you would need to be a lottery millionaire a few times over, to afford the upkeep of them.
Hiya Tina nice vid.Nice Mansion.Makes you wonder WHY on earth it could be let to get so bad inside. Is that wee message on top of door at 0:46 for me to notice?lol
I guess building the new house next door was cheaper! Lol, yeah, but it was empty unfortunatly :P
Where abouts in Scotland is this?
Heartbreaking to see nature reclaiming someone's dreams. I don't understand how things like this happen. I know here in the US people sometimes loose mansions due to misfortune, or for whatever reason, but someone usually buys it right up. This looks to be generations old. Is there no family, or heirs? I'm from the farthest south louisiana you can go, here our plantations sometimes survive a couple hundred years. ( mainly taken away by hurricanes)
plantation houses are magnificent, shame this castle is left to ruin, many years ago in UK many big estate homes where bulldozed by the owners over inheritance tax in England, or simply they could no longer afford to run those type of houses that needed staff to maintain and heating costs.
How big is this castle??? How many rooms does it have? When was it build? Who lived in it? Why did they leave? What's going to happen to it?
At 6:20 I believe that square thing with the rope is an old dumb waiter. Amazing. Is this building on the historical register or being protected in any way? Do you know any history about it?
What a pity locations like this one are abandoned.Who would be able to built this kind of castles nowadays ? Sorry for my poor English.
Tina, It also most looks like the hole building is beginning to crumble.............Nathan
The outside looks not too bad, but the inside does look like it's about to crumble! My foot went through the floor on the 2nd level, so very unsafe! :)
I really like your videos. Each building is open, or ...?
Yeah you can usually find a door or windows open in most places :)
This is exciting !
Whats the piano music that starts at 5:28? I'd love to know the title and artist if possible
that is so shamefull ,, it makes my heart drop ,, how can people let it get like that ,, what a waste
its a shame such a wonderful place go to waste like that. Very beautiful place tho
I would love to have the money to buy that and fix it up-- have weddings there- bed and breakfast , retreats for corporations, etc... and live in part of it.. WOW- It amazes me that people just abandon stuff like that and someone doesn't get it and MAKE USE of it--
Where is this location?
You should try to trace who owns it and offer to buy it for a penny. You may get a surprise and find out they want rid of it!
The owners live next door to it, only feet away in a new build house, and aren't willing to sell it for some reason, they might not want the buyer to turn it into something and ruin there remote quiet location? Shame to see it rot away anyway !
The beauty that was. Really good piece, but dark ambient music work better.
Also subbed to your other channel which i never knew about, so i've subbed and will checkout the vids :)
what a shame!!! just think of all the people that have been in that house in the last 200 plus years.....
Could someone tell me the names of songs used in this video?
Sadly probably too far gone to save. A couple of nice settings for scenes should you ever return to the "Silent Hill style" stuff, like the chapel.
Nice one!
It is quite wrecked, although that actually outside doesn't look that bad, so hopfully one day they'll fix it! It would be great for a silent hill video, I haven't made them in a while! :)
