to be fair, every time i go to a live show i probably bust my vocal chords by the second song because of the screaming and excitement... this guy probably did the same.

Check out the Live in Brussels concert album they have, it has this version in hi-quality audio! I bought the pressing of it, so finding the video of the live performance I’ve heard 1000 times is really cool.
I can see why they don't really play pmdb tracks that much. Stu seems pretty uncomfortable even having to close his eyes to sing. Not saying it's a bad rendition, but more clean tracks where vocals are at the forefront just won't sound the best live, because no distortion and there is so much club noise. The guy singing needs to sssssttttttffffuuuuu please. Never never do this at a concert.
He defo sounds very tired maybe a lil sick at the Brussels show, big reason why I think they keep it jazzy and let Joey , Amby and even Cook hit the vocals for the bulk of the show.

I was at the show, he had been sick and his voice was fried. Still a good show though.
