Can let you guys know how they are once I've tried them out etc...Hope you guys are staying safe on the trails! Keep the videos coming.
@@WOLFTICKVIDEOS - Man I just got to try hydraulic brakes for the first time, I picked up a very gently used Charge Cooker for myself and it has some Shimano hydraulic brakes (not sure which model) and they are so nice compared to the cable disc brakes on my wife’s Haro, which are better than the cable disc brakes on the Genesis Saracino (red 26” version of the Villotti) that I had before. Huge upgrade

@@WOLFTICKVIDEOS all good here thanks. I've got some lovely little trails near me and two or three bike parks fairly local (I've not ventured out to them yet). @@WOLFTICKVIDEOS I guess it is a bit, the uk is such a small country in comparison, but we cram an awful lot in it considering😂😂😂 Thought you mightve been planning a visit... 😁🍻
Just bought this epixon fork. Works really well. The lockout already has me spoilt. The only downfall is their is no band on the stantion to set the sag but a tie strap will do, other than that its a great fork for the price. Looking forward to the ride and your views.
Cool man, good idea as well with the band:) I will set the sag for sure and we will run her down the BLACK DIAMOND Hayes Creek Run trail:) Thanks Randall:)
You can set the travel on these fairly easily (I did it on two). It is adjustable between 100, 120, 130 and 140 in my experience. I have never lost more than 1.5 pounds of air when I was attaching a shock pump.
NICE!! I have the manual I believe to the breakdown and service them, the adding travel may be a good video. Thanks JAMIE-also appreciate the 5 cups of COFFEE MAN!!💙
@@WOLFTICKVIDEOS i bought some black nitrile rubber 30mm o-rings and added one to each fork when i changed the travel. there is a pressure guide in the manual but it is not very precise. adding the o-rings should ensure that you get the sag dialed.
I love the Bucklos Lutu and the Epixon. The Epixon is a little stiffer and I went from 100 to 120mm respectively. Fork action!!! The PSI graph is in the manual J.
I am 230lbs and my epixon has been great and is easy to change the travel on when and if needed. I have had the same complaint with there being a lack of a detent in the rebound adjustment. I always assumed mine was broken but guess not haha
Well lets see on the Realtime Review :) I will set the sag and see ow it goes. Good to know they work for you pretty much, being a bigger rider and all. We get a lot of questions regarding size and weight:)
@@eMikeBike Great name. Great movie. What's your e-ride? I have an old Cannondale I converted with a BBSHD. I upgraded to a 60 amp Ludicrous controller after burning out the stock controller on the hill I live on (should have downshifted). I'm only running at 50 amps because that's the max continuous on the battery but it'll climb anything the tires can stick to.
I’m waiting on this fork to become available back in stock in Australia for my aggressor sport. It’s the last thing I need to do on my ride. Love your work boys. Keep it up. I shot you. Couple of photos over of my aggressor sport on instagram

@@WOLFTICKVIDEOS Actually had to translate that hahaha I'm a brazillian, with a german name from my great grandfather who came from Germany. Thanks for the good laugh guys, your try hard definitely made my day LOL
I see Sr Suntour has a new remote. The old one was same remote as on Marzocchi just different logo and color on it, but they had a steel ring that you had d to slide on, and the remote screwed into the ring, and bolt was touching the handlebar, so not the greatest design. I've not taken a look at the new remotes. But I've had a Sr suntour xcm years ago, but it had no rebound damping at all eventually for some reason, probably blew the damper, but the RSLO lockout worked quite well, smooth action. I think the new remote has a hinge do no need to grips off to install it But don't remember if it was hydraulic or mechanical lock out. I only had it few months i think did not use it much but gave up on the fork. But now I have proper suspension fork. But I've not tried any newer and forks higher rup the ladder, I don't count trying others bikes for few mins. 😁
You are probably not actually losing air in the air chamber in the fork, but the hose on the shock pump. That's 5psi. So read the pressure and take 5 psi off and that's the actual pressure in the chamber. If you actually loose air when disconnecting the pump the valve is damaged.
Hi guys, great presentation. Let me know something, on 14:42 there is a silicon/rubber thing on the brake lever itself. What’s your opinion on it? Worth the price? What’s the fell on it?
Thanks now....The silicon thingy was sent to us by CB Outdoors and I actually have not ridden the GT with them on it yet:) They do feel more grippy when sitting on the bike and they are thicker which makes for less squeezing of the levers. Kinda like the look but may just be more of an accent piece than anything.
A little with the HARO-wasup? It has a few drawbacks for the price, the brakes and shifters are the same and cannot be changed out seperately. The bike does have a cassette so that is nice with a freehub I see potential but other than the coil fork that is descent....what are you paying $550 for?
@@WOLFTICKVIDEOS - good question, probably paying a couple hundred just for the common brand name. I picked one up for my wife from my LBS before doing all my research because it was available but now I’m wishing I had waited because I want to convert it to a 1x but I’ll have to get a replacement brake lever. My wife likes it but honestly she just likes the way it looks lol she got the flat black with teal blue accents she added raceface grips and pedals to match. But I could’ve gotten more for my $600 elsewhere.
Something that I would really love to see is for y’all to put all of y’all’s favorite parts on your favorite bike and have fun riding it. Maybe even make a full bike build video.
I don't remember if I told you about this hack but here it is. If you want to stop the headset/handlebar/front wheel from spinning while in the repair stand. Use two shoe laces tied together make a loop on the grip, wrap the lace around the handle of repair stand or seat post or seat tube and fasten to other grip, tighten.
You took off the Judy FEATURES Proven Motion Control damper featuring low speed compression adjust to lockout with external rebound adjust Fast Black aluminum upper tube finish for a premium look Torque Caps compatible for a stronger, stiffer interface between fork and hub, giving you more control in the front wheel Solo Air spring for a plush, predictable ride you can set up in seconds
Wondering how long that paint will last on the stansion, I've seen a few scratch and wear on their brand and a few other brands... and if it'll leak when the paint wears... never saw anyone say anything about leakage. ..
You could possibly use a shifter cable but, the lead end on the cables would be far to big to sit snuggly in the remote for the lockout, there is a channel designed for the proper size. But maybe if you were to shave down one end??
First thing, Epicon is the older name of the model. Second, the remote lockout control is suppose to be installed where you push the short lever over the top to lock and push the long lever on its side from the bottom with your thumb to unlock. That control's design has problems because the unlock lever bumps against the curved metal cable tube, which prevents it from getting pressed all the way. You will have to bend the tube or cut/shave the end of the lever.
Hmmm...thanks for the assessment. I am glad I mounted it on the correct side:) I think.....and really the placement actually feels quite good, I like it like that. Thanks MD
Hey thanks man! Yeah I think we just got lucky and got into the algorithm. Evans MTB Saga is going to pass us all up in a year or so. You got some popular videos going for yourself, I won't be surprised if you pass us back. Thanks again bro👍
Well........If I had to buy one after riding them both....I would choose the Epixon, it it way smoother and it has 32MM stanchions as opposed to the puny 30mm the RockShox has:) But that is just me, not a recommendation but an an opinion LOL Here is an affilaite link-www.ebay.com/itm/202851211906?_trkparms=ispr%3D1&hash=item2f3adfda82:g:N~kAAOSwQFpeLVte&amdata=enc%3AAQAGAAACoPYe5NmHp%252B2JMhMi7yxGiTJkPrKr5t53CooMSQt2orsSjVt3vLKCbov98Z19qhuwY0LU2MrDD6hzzpPnu1RQ527jO%252BQ67UhXZbtJjFkhepFTIwipoDSmlN4rELfVKw26gs129GWdeD0HEWyysnh2Rbuh7w%252Fsi0GMPZkCcdD%252BpeH6nINDPpxePlq7oSiysAdggAukaN3IDUKVaPll447apsXHofVseLUjb3Uy1wS6yMNfXkpqoGW3zvQISjN9ZH8cZvurFdqKbVMfHqAR8vKH79h3PrZRs%252FTXriQX44r9TfA0ISkTA7QKo8QGQ77byq%252B8%252F3FCPNzN20GsFqWqtlkKLQZWRRQAYoTsOFnyBAdaacQ8WWMO%252Btxo%252Bz6VTsS1PZUUoXpJzWuvnkggrbRLUhJk54D06vPqOvfFPIYJca530dR6qBBMFaZ0BXoaH6TBoIGVvzWXCLVUAspcfgO5EKO4Ei0L%252BMZI4b8D8LcN8WJDF74Bcv17%252BrJSFydUGoMSs%252Fw9jyxCC1%252FJdA4KC25xJ46HHMlDSHnXswu1nF6u3CRQKb1AW%252BNCXOnwDp2NWGp6bEFyJS85Pdx42i%252Btmk%252FUioVCJTDhnGJF%252F63fLo1tqf8kQ%252BCDSLcOpSTBQ4VDG6d9nVvN70DEQVSetbX0XtP%252BNIH8tnhhNHOBY%252Fum4sXkpaUsl7aWb8r0GAKQIwGwX2j6O%252BEuAaa5LuvxSrad0VOZLMOdJT3PNaQQ3W4MXTqJkdPtd%252FuUwz0NJ0RvkOcaefaOyS3%252BKDW9qQF87953AiwaARQbSMlNoKQ%252BlVugeCKUD7%252Fh7Amew5wW6bFhI0%252FHVVE4Ge7DsrIj34eE6Cucmbv8bMPLoS%252BbXi5SDAxmFvrAyNKCuJpXORnlgHeMbJlIpml3FHCGoA%253D%253D%7Campid%3APL_CLK%7Cclp%3A2334524&mkcid=1&mkrid=711-53200-19255-0&siteid=0&campid=5338684594&customid=FORK&toolid=10001&mkevt=1
I really enjoy your videos and you inspired me to purchase the ozone 500 myself. But a better question is I’m looking for a better bike, could you help me decide between a trek Marin 5 or that gt agressor pro
Man i am the wrong guy to ask!! LOL We built a channel off the GT so I cannot not be loyal and steer you towards the Marlin:) But I do here good things both ways:) GET A GT!! Perfect channel I know of called "WOLFTICK VIDEOS" They have done everything to there GT:)LOL
Remember I commented I was on my way to buy this bike? Well, on my way to pick it up I seen someone wiped out my EDD Debit card. Took all my unemployment money. I saved and saved so I could but a bike and ride then the bad news was revealed to me. Still waiting for them to do their investigation and put my money back. Now, my car broke down. I have no wheels at all at the moment, no job, EDD wiped out! I thought 2021 was going to be better.
I’m converting my 21 speed w/3x to a 1x and upgrading to 800mm bars... the bike comes with twist shifters. Can anyone recommend me a non-twist shifter to use with the 1x ?
Hey brother we found a shifter that we would be willing to gamble with:) Good lock and this is an affiliate link so it helps us a little. Hope it works man, we put a shifter on the fragment that was a friction style and it worked!
We do have a couple of full suspension bikes the Temissor and the Sandstorm but we haven't had time to go back and work on them recently with all of the 2021 stuff coming out. We will get back to them this summer if not sooner. Thanks man👍
I got a question. If I just happened to come through your area on our way to Bentonville, would you be interested in the gift of drink? We plan on going to Oklahoma next year and we were going to swing through a couple of towns my wife grew up in to visit her family. If/when we do, I can bounce your direction and share some TN/KY sweetness in a glass with you. Maybe even bring you some TN spring water. :)
Man that may be a POSSIBILITY!! LOL Dont go out of your way please:) We are very busy but.........When it comes to drinks it may just need it happen :) Just let us know in advance please!! Then we can meetup and possibly film it:)
Hey brother, the Epixon is a sweet fork. We bought ours form Ebay and I will send you an affiliate link as well. They do not come with a star nutt or stickers but man it is nice:) Here it is from the seller we bought from, thanks and let us know!! ebay.us/Tiyn8M
Hey brother, thanks for the comment and love! Now the headset will not work on a tapered headset it is designed for a 34-34mm. But risk offers a tapered option 👍
I tell you what, if you can find them for $200 dollars or less shipped then let us know and we will give them a beating and then a Wolftick Rating. If they are over $200 dollars then I don't think they will fair well in that over $200 dollar category that we have coming up this summer. Thanks man!👍
Hey bro just got this fork but dosent feel smooth, when I put rebound slow feels hard but when I turn up the rebound fast is smooth but to fast. Is it because haven't used yet or something?
Hey brotheri would say play with the pressure and find the sweet spot. Sounds like you have got too much air in it. Set the sag to around 25% of the overall travel. Sit on it and the fork should soak up about 25% of the stanchion.
@@WOLFTICKVIDEOS I tried changing the air pressure but still felt hard. I think you misunderstood me when I said it felt hard. When I have it on slow reboundthe bottom of the fork feels like a rock. So I turned the rebound fast but was to fast because I like my rebound more on the slower side. Sorry for the trouble just don't know what to do
the reasoning for the ascension being 369 is because on average target is more expensive than Walmart and I know a lot of hardcore target shoppers say that that target products are far better than Walmart ones which make the ascensions price decent for target standards.
Will you do long term testing of the cheap drivetrain? I am about to downgrade, but probably will be an upgrade. From 1/3 price. Box One was o erpriced and flawed. Am not finished with my review yet, I still have photos and videos to add. But conclusion is bushings wear out rediculously fast.
It would be interesting to see build from a frame only option but most brands don't offer that. Do a full low budget shred machine. Have you looked into that?
@@WOLFTICKVIDEOS that would be risky, budget carbon frame. Not to say all are junk but most are. I would go for aluminium as its cheaper. So fs ronly slack headangle low price frame si found are Ragley but they don't offer long enough reach. But might work for you. If you like short chainstay. It has 63 deg head angle. So similar to my G1 but much shorter chainstays. Hardtail Party did few vid son these. Not found any cheap frame with such head angle. But the perfect hardcore hardtail for cheap does not exist. So I think. I know Marino bikes build custom frame, but long wait, and bad support and long wait for replacement if it fails. And long delivery time. A big guy broke a frame, now he rides a Commencal clash. I know little about Ragley's reputation. But I will come with more info on low budget options if I come across something. But buying on a sale is a good idea.
@@WOLFTICKVIDEOS so fa rfor complete bikes Vitus offers a better value than most big brands. I saw some cheap NS frames, just remembered, they not crazy priced but once on sale they are cheap. I don't remember the geo numbers. But they look robust.
@@WOLFTICKVIDEOS it's probably going to be harder to get certain bikes, parts, frames, I know most sram stuff is out of stock in 🇳🇴, most Shimano stuff too, but more Sram, only sgs rd I could find were deore, slx, so I went for cheapest option, found a good deal from a Danish company. Arriving today.
@@WOLFTICKVIDEOS I see Diamondback Atroz, entry level full suspension bikes was a popular choice but big guys snap the swing arm on these. So not a good option. They should have made that bike stronger. But in 🇳🇴 Diamondback is not an option, they are out of the market for over a decade now I think. But that was a department store brand in 🇳🇴, I forgot the name but there was a cold coloured hardtail that looked beefy had Marzocchi fork, seemed robudt but only saw one for sale second hand so they are probably rare sight now.
@@WOLFTICKVIDEOS hey John Jeremiah I got to special treat for your check up my link on my site I just got released from the hospital today and I had a small blood clot and it triggered a a small stroke so I was just released today home relaxing and resting

Love the channel, looking to get into mountain biking and have been watching all your bike review videos. Would you recommend the gt aggressor pro or the schwinn axum as a better starter bike?
Man that is a great question, very close with the features you get....Now I would lean a little more towards the GT-If you get it from Dicks Sporting Goods and they offer a 3 year no sweat protection plan for like $70!!! You can bend almost anything and get a new one free of charge! Just that alone I would by a GT-also how tall you are plays a big role as well the 29ers are a little bigger and the GT s a 27.5
If you're using a proper shock pump it shouldn't be a problem I've got a double use one and and dumps a ton of air but I got it for 6$ dollars lol I dont feel like paying 30 bucks for an actual shock pump haha
Hey brother here ia an affiliate link, they help us and dont cost you anymore:) Here is what we got the first time around. Good luck man there is also a Bucklos crankset we run VP SEALED CARTRIDGE amzn.to/3321vEEamzn.to/3nv0Kxv

Hi there, I like your channel because I own a GT aggressor. Can I ask how much money has been put into your GT? If it were me, I would have bought a $3000 bike and not worried about upgrading
Well Brad thanks for checking us out. We have about $1000 into the GT including the bike the way you see it in this video. You can't buy a bike around $1000 new that even comes close to this one. Well you could buy a bike for $3000 and not upgrade but we can't. When you have a TH-cam channel that is about budget bikes and budget upgrades to those bikes it wouldn't make much sense to buy a $3000 dollar bike and not upgrade it, right? Yall just may be correct, I sat on it earlier and went man, I kinda like this thing!! LOL
Just bought this epixon fork. Works really well. The lockout already has me spoilt. The only downfall is their is no band on the stantion to set the sag but a tie strap will do, other than that its a great fork for the price. Looking forward to the ride and your views.

Ok I may have questions for you here pretty soon:) Thanks for the heads up Jamie!!
I love the Bucklos Lutu and the Epixon. The Epixon is a little stiffer and I went from 100 to 120mm respectively. Fork action!!! The PSI graph is in the manual J.

LOL Very true!! HA HA BUT NO;)
I see Sr Suntour has a new remote.
I think the new remote has a hinge do no need to grips off to install it
But don't remember if it was hydraulic or mechanical lock out. I only had it few months i think did not use it much but gave up on the fork. But now I have proper suspension fork. But I've not tried any newer and forks higher rup the ladder, I don't count trying others bikes for few mins. 😁
I like little details like that "hinge" I wish ours had it too. The forks seem interesting and the remote even more so...
@@WOLFTICKVIDEOS ok so yours doe snot have a hinge then. Saw a remote that did. But can get those seperatly.
You are probably not actually losing air in the air chamber in the fork, but the hose on the shock pump. That's 5psi. So read the pressure and take 5 psi off and that's the actual pressure in the chamber. If you actually loose air when disconnecting the pump the valve is damaged.
🤔🤔🤔🤔😉
9:30 ask the seller, they might have forgotten to include the housing, I remember, when I bought the 2 I had, they did come with housing
Ok, we will check on that, thanks Alex
Hi guys, great presentation.
Let me know something, on 14:42 there is a silicon/rubber thing on the brake lever itself. What’s your opinion on it? Worth the price? What’s the fell on it?
Thanks now....The silicon thingy was sent to us by CB Outdoors and I actually have not ridden the GT with them on it yet:) They do feel more grippy when sitting on the bike and they are thicker which makes for less squeezing of the levers. Kinda like the look but may just be more of an accent piece than anything.
I was "danger close" to ordering this shock last week. I wound up going with a Rockshox Judy gold instead.
What was the deciding factor between the two?
ok ok not bad!! :) How much and like Lance asked, what was the deciding factor?
Hey Jeremiah are you familiar with the Haro FlightLine Two 27.5 or the Charge Cooker 29er?

Hmmmm, that is interesting. Have only heard a lot of good abut them but there are those cases.
Would any brake/Derailleur cable housing work for the lockout?
You could possibly use a shifter cable but, the lead end on the cables would be far to big to sit snuggly in the remote for the lockout, there is a channel designed for the proper size. But maybe if you were to shave down one end??
I’m curious to see where they fall in the budget fork chart. Can’t wait for the real-time review
I have a feeling that they are going to do well. Jeremiah was a little smitten.🤣
Good morning fellas! Just about to get some sleep and my notification went off. Well, I wasn’t tired anyway so.......
HA HA Well said man, thanks brother:) Long night calls for a great way to wrap it all up:)
Thanks MD
I like it I think you're going to get spoiled hahaha....hey wait a minute that's usually how I tell a story that's the best way hahaha

I was thinking what should i get, the rockshox silver judy tk, or the epixon?
Well........If I had to buy one after riding them both....I would choose the Epixon, it it way smoother and it has 32MM stanchions as opposed to the puny 30mm the RockShox has:) But that is just me, not a recommendation but an an opinion LOL

DID AND DID!! HA AH We will see this WEEKEND MY FRIEND
Would it be bad to leave it at the length it is and just add spacers?
Not totally, just really depends on your riding style and positioning on the bike. That would be a bunch of spacers though....
the reasoning for the ascension being 369 is because on average target is more expensive than Walmart and I know a lot of hardcore target shoppers say that that target products are far better than Walmart ones which make the ascensions price decent for target standards.
Ok I can roll with that lol. The bike has a very cool style and some features to it for sure:)

Yes we will eventually, perhaps on the groupset just got:) You can see it Friday
It would be interesting to see build from a frame only option but most brands don't offer that. Do a full low budget shred machine. Have you looked into that?
Yes we have actually, maybe a carbon frame?? any suggestions??
